Marc Dutroux would kidnap and train children. But Jean Michel Nihoul, released in 2007, was the contact man between the costumers and the goods. Dutroux was working for Nihoul.

For as far as secret service is concerned, the revelations of Regina Louf, Witness X1, very clearly show that the whole pedophile network in Belgium is serving a secret service. The purpose was, or is, to blackmail politicians and others in powerful places in the Belgian Government. But I don't know of any English translation or transcript. Her witnesses in Dutch reveal this, although she does not put it in the way I put it here.

I'll quote from here testimonies:
All child abuse was filmed and taken pictures from.
And this was not in order to make movies or porn magazines. Another quote:
Politicians where fed drunk at a party, than brought to a brothel having 18 years old girls. Then them was said: "Upstairs is a surprise for you". The politicians would than go upstairs, and find an underage girl naked on a bed.

She also described how politicians that where not pedophiles, would get seduced, starting with girls from 18, than 17, than 16, and so forth, younger and younger. Photo's where made when they would do their thing with 11 year old girls.

To me this sounds as a foreign secret service, taking over a government from within. These testimonies I only know from Dutch and French language movies, while an English interview I would watch online by the BBC reveals nothing. But many volunteers are translating this stuff, if you find an English translation of her testimonies in English, Regina Louf productions tell a lot more on the Dutroux clientèle, than any source I know. She really is the best source.

V. amusing. I'm kind of confused because I know of two Belgians who both are fictional, and I never pay attention when we go over anything interesting in History class. No wait... we never do go over anything interesting in History... just the Roman republic every day for the past several months...
