Another glareing piece of evidence that shouts vote fraud in the American election is the fact that wherever there was a discrepency between exit polls and final totals, that descrepency went in favor of Bush instead of Kerry. I'm sure there is a staggering probability of that happening by accident.

Some time before this election, I predicted that there would be fraud, and that with paper ballots the most likely means would be to swap ballot boxes on their way to the counting rooms. I note the story in which people claim to have seen this happening.

I also suggested that to guard against ballot box swapping, people should (inconspicuously) mark the ballot boxes, and then check that those boxes showed up at counting rooms. Now I read that the ballot boxes were 'black'. Is that true, and were they ever black at previous elections?

The Aberdeen votes may not be as strange as they seem, it all kinda depends on the natural constituencies there. Scotland has naturally voted Labour since the 1950s, when the Tories began to go into decline. Thus any example of tactical voting in a Tory area would go to the LibDems. Conversely, Labour would tend to be stronger in their own areas, and swings to other areas might not be so great, such as in Ochil.

Now, the Dumfries and Galloway result is strange because this area was traditionally a Tory region, although recently the Scottish Nationalists have also made inroads there. For Labour to increase their vote by nearly 9% is preposterous and does lead to suspicion. The other Dumfrieshire constituency is also tradtionally Tory, so for them to do so much better than New Labour is really no great surprise. Not now, anyway, given Labour's stance on Iraq. Although the results in the two Dumfries seats look odd, these are redrawn seats and the psephologists may have apportioned previous vote shares between them incorrectly.
