Lester Cross is the Australian head of an anti-terror organisation in Indonesia, the Jakarta Center for Law Enforcement Cooperation.

On 2 December 2007, gunmen shot at Lester Cross's vehicle.

According to The Jakarta Post, Cross 'was unharmed when shots hit a window and a tire... in the city of Semarang, about 250 kilometers east of the capital, Jakarta.'

The Indonesian police said that the attackers might be terrorists.

Cross's anti-terror 'school', which is jointly run by Indonesia and Australia, was set up in 2004 to help police from across Asia fight terrorism. It also acts as an information clearinghouse and provides governments with anti-terrorism experts.

It has now emerged that the people who shot at Lester Cross were Indonesian police officers.

Insonesia's special forces regiment is called Kopassus. It has been trained by the Americans and reportedly gets weapons from the Israelis.

And what of UK Prime Minister Harold Wilson and his many Jewish friends?

Harold Wilson was President of the Board of Trade from 1947-51. The few people who could get permission from the Board of Trade to import heavily rationed raw materials or finished goods were in a good position to become vastly rich.

Among the lucky few who got licenses were Montague Meyer, Joe Kagan and Rudy Sternberg. Kagan and Sternberg later became peers. Meyer gave Wilson a consultancy which took him on frequent trips to Moscow and Eastern Europe.

After the 'mysterious' death of Hugh Gaitskell, Wilson became Labour leader and eventually Prime Minister.

Harold Wilson's 'private office' was funded in secret by a wealthy group which included Lord Goodman, Sir Samuel Fisher, and Rudy Sternberg.

In the 1970's, Private Eye began to receive information of a possible link between Wilson and the Israeli secret service and the KGB.

In connection with alleged plots, the names of various people were handed to Private Eye.Labour MP Ian Mikardo had at one time partnered Leslie Paisner in a business that traded with East Germany. Mikardo's pair in the House of Commons was Barnaby Drayson who worked for Rudy Sternberg, as did Wilfred Owen MP who had resigned after being revealed as a spy for Czechoslovakia.

Montague Meyer, it turned out, was the man who had bought up much of the timber felled in Tanganyika during Labour's ill-fated groundnut scheme.

Then there was Labour MP Edward Short 'who had been in the habit of receiving bundles of banknotes from T Dan Smith', the city boss of Newcastle and one time partner of Eric Levine.

Kagan was a frequent visitor to Downing Street. He was also on friendly terms with the station chief of the Russian KGB. After being questioneded by the police about tax and currency offences he eventually 'fled' to Israel, where perhaps his real allegiance lay.

Sir Rudy Sternberg was also under investigation by the security services.

What may have stopped Private Eye from finally getting at the truth was the intervention of the Jewish businessman James Goldsmith, a friend of PM Wilson's personal secretary, Marcia Williams. Marcia was also a friend of Kagan. Private Eye had mistakenly claimed that Goldsmith had been present at a lunch given by John Aspinall, on the day after the disappearance of Lord Lucan. Goldsmith began criminal libel proceedings against Private Eye.

Patrick Marnham, in his brilliant book "Trail of Havoc: In the Steps of Lord Lucan", writes that Goldsmith was "effectively silencing the only newspaper which migh t have made headway with the ....allegations."

Goldsmith later became a lord. Sir Joseph Kagan was later imprisoned.

But the possible links between Labour and Israel's secret service may not have ended with Wilson. Private Eye began to take an interest in Robert Maxwell, the chief fund raiser for Labour. Maxwell received a peerage, mysteriously disappeared, and 'his body' was buried with great honour in Israel. It was assumed by many that he was a top Israeli spy.

And what of Margaret Thatcher?

Jonathan Freedland, 31 10 2003, wrote in The Guardian: "(Margaret Thatcher had) a Cabinet which included no fewer than five Jews: Lord (David) Young, Malcolm Rifkind, Leon Brittan, Nigel Lawson and Keith Joseph. "

Malnutrition you may not get to hear about in the mainstream media

Indonesia is an ally of Bush in the War on Terror, so you are not supposed to know about the increasing poverty and malnutrition in parts of Indonesia.

In Indonesia, food prices are shooting up and there is widespread malnutrition.

The Jakarta Post has recently had some stories of malnutrition among small children in Tangerang (right next to Jakarta).

Data from the Tangerang regency's health agency shows that 1,871 children under the age of five - mostly from areas along the north coast, such as Teluk Naga and Rajeg districts - are malnourished.

Social workers say they’re alarmed by local administrators’ lack of interest in the problem of malnutrition, claiming the problem is being muzzled in the name of politics.

Subdistrict heads often refuse to acknowledge the existence of poorly-fed children, they said. Some even go as far as forbidding social workers to mention the word “malnutrition” in reports, a social worker from the Healthy Indonesia Foundation, Leny H.R., told a media forum Thursday organized by the Coalition for a Healthy Indonesia.

“Maybe they’re afraid of how a public acknowledgment like this would affect their careers,” she said.

The lack of government support has forced Leny herself to treat 20 malnourished children under two years old in the Mulyaharja subdistrict, Bogor Selatan district, Bogor.

“Luckily some private donors have come up and provided funding for the 20 children for three months, until the end of April,” she added, explaining that the donors provided milk, biscuits, and Rp 50,000 (about US$5.7) a day for food.

Leny said that she would have to find new sources of funding to continue the treatment for the next three months.

“It’s shameful that they (the local administrations) won’t acknowledge a major problem like this,” the head of the Health Ministry’s nutrition alert division, Tatang S. Falah, said in the media forum.

He said the Health Ministry’s policy was for people to report even one incidence of malnutrition to the nearest health institution or worker in their area, within 24 hours of discovery.

“Because it may not be an isolated occurrence, we treat that particular case, but we also immediately investigate the area for similar cases,” Tatang said.

The ministry recorded a prevalence rate of 23.2 percent for malnutrition in West Java in 2003, and 21.53 percent in Jakarta.

Henri Paul and the French secret service.

The Diana inquest has heard that Henri Paul, deputy head of security at the Ritz hotel in Paris, liaised with police and the French secret service about important guests. Diana driver 'had links with French secret services'

Claude Roulet, assistant to the president of the Ritz, said Paul put him in contact with the secret service DST (Direction de la Surveillance du Territoire) when an important Russian diplomat was coming to stay.

Mohamed Al Fayed believes Paul was employed by the security services of one country or another.

Roulet told the inquest: "The French police knew about the arrival of some guests. When they needed to have a look at what they did they asked the security services at the Ritz to have some tips about what they did, and when they came in and went out and who they met and so on."

The inquest was told that Paul was first recommended for his job at the Ritz by a police officer who was one of his best friends.

Asked if it was Paul's job to help police with inquiries about special guests, Roulet explained:

"Henri Paul had very good contacts with the French police so maybe those contacts meant that he was contacted more than his chief."

The jury has been told that Paul had bank accounts with assets of around £170,000 in cash and shares.

Within moments of entering the prison in Quatar where the deposed president is allegedly being held, she reportedly reemerged screaming in a rage, “This is not my husband, it's his double, where is my husband? Take me to my husband!” Since Tuffa's public display of outrage, several reporters have noted that live footage and photos of the man being tried as Saddam reveal that he has bad teeth and an underbite. Conversely, photos of the real Saddam consistently show that he has near perfect teeth and an overbite.

After the Russians applied enormous diplomatic pressure, America was finally obliged to allow Sajida Heiralla Tuffah access to her husband in Qatar, where he had been flown in some luxury aboard a United States Air Force VIP jet. The facilities at Baghdad Airport were considered to be sub-standard, besides which, people were beginning to talk about the laughing and bourbon-swilling Muslim prisoner, who was the only one in sight not wearing a hood and sensory deprivation earphones, and not being sexually abused by Ricardo Sanchez. Well, you could have heard a pin drop all the way across Qatar. Sajida arrived from Syria with her official escort Sheikh Hamad Al-Tani, and then entered the prison, emerging only moments later pink with rage and shouting, "This is not my husband but his double. Where is my husband? Take me to my husband".

American officials rushed forward to shield Mrs Saddam from perplexed Russian observers, trying to insist that Saddam had changed a lot while in custody and she probably didn't recognise him. This was certainly not the best way to handle the Iraqi President's wife. "You think I do not know my husband?" Sajida shouted furiously, "I was married to the man for more than twenty-five years!" Then she stormed off, never to return.

This remarkable confrontation was reported by Pravda and four other newspapers in the east between 13 and 17 April, but the New York Times and others made damn sure you didn't read or hear about it in the west.

It is entirely likely that Saddam, who was trained and put into power by the CIA ( aangirfan: Saddam worked for the CIA), was not hanged and that the hanging video was some kind of fake.

We know that Saddam offered to leave Iraq before the war started.

BRITAIN’S anti-terror chief, Andy hayman, resigned on 4th December 2007 after claims that he made and sent 400 calls and texts to a female member of the police watchdog investigating him.

Reportedly, Andy Hayman, a married father of two, was communicating with the woman while the Independent Police Complaints Commission was working on its report into the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes in July 2005.

How to deal with the collapse of discipline in UK state schools

In the United Kingdom, headmasters and teachers should be allowed to exclude pupils who are disruptive.

Pupils should have a choice of schools.

Schools should be made much smaller (no bigger than 200 pupils).

The school day should be shortened.

The school leaving leaving age should be reduced.

A recent study has shown that England's school are among the world's most violent. ( More expulsions of violent children overruled )

England is 36th out of 45 in a league table of school safety.

In the United Kingdom, a headmaster may expell a pupil, but the headmaster's decision can be over-ruled by school governors and appeals panels.

According to the Sunday Telegraph (More expulsions of violent children overruled) , 2 December 2007:

In 1007, a pupil from a UK school took a knife on a school trip. A pupil was stabbed in the chest. The pupil, one of three who had carried knives on the trip, successfully appealed against exclusion and is back at school.

In 2007, at another UK school, governors overturned the decision of a headmaster who had expelled a pupil for setting up a website calling on classmates to kill a teacher.

In 2007, an 11-year-old pupil who repeatedly battered a fellow pupil on the head, punched a member of staff and smashed a door was allowed back to his school by the governing body.

A comment on the Sunday telegraph website reads:

I was once a teacher. - Thank God! no more! Thank You Thank you and thank you to the parents and governors who started a campaign against me and forced me out! I was accused of being too strict and unsympathetic! I refused to teach children who abused me verbally and it was bye bye not to them but me! I was never once offered any support by other teachers or the local authority. There is no hope now. None. What does Aangirfan think?

It is easy and cheap to educate the bright, well mannered, hard working children, whether they come from the upper, middle or lower class.

It can be more difficult and more expensive to educate the slow learners or the lazy kids, no matter which social class they come from.

It is most difficult and most expensive to educate the disruptive elements, be they upper class or whatever.

So, how should education be organised?

1. Let the grammar schools continue to do what they do well - educating the bright kids. But make sure that the grammar schools take in lots and lots of bright kids from the lower class. The system must be flexible and have no rigid entrance system.

2. Set up schools that give intensive care (very expensive) to the disruptive children.

3. Set up top quality schools that cater for the less academic kids. There are parents and children who want such schools - so long as they are well run, and do not become dumping grounds for the disruptive children.

Government bureaucrats, whether in local or national government, tend to love big one-size-fits-all comprehensive schools. They don't like the idea of having expensive 'special' schools. Schools should be taken out of the hands of government.

The best schools are often tiny private schools, with ancient desks and no fancy facilities. All schools should be tiny. The big schools should be broken up.

Parents and children must have a wide choice of schools where possible. No secondary school needs to have more than 200 children.

In 1996, there was a massacre at a school in Dunblane, Scotland. The man who murdered 16 young children was Thomas Hamilton.

According to journalist Marcello Mega, in The News of the World (Cached), 28 December 2003:

1. A top Scottish Freemason, Former Grand Master Lord Burton, has said that Lord Cullen's inquiry into the Dunblane massacre was a cover-up.

Lord Burton says Cullen's inquiry suppressed crucial information to protect high-profile legal figures.

2. These high-profile legal figures may belong to a secretive 'Super-Mason' group called The Speculative Society.

Lord Burton said: "I have learned of an apparent connection between prominent members of the legal establishment involved in the inquiry, and the secretive Speculative Society. 5. Former housemaster Glenn Harrison told the News of the World how he even found Hamilton, 43, creeping around the dormitories at night. He said Hamilton had close links to a top policeman. Glenn was never called to give evidence at the Cullen Inquiry.

Lord Burton said: "I tried repeatedly to raise concerns about the inquiry during my time in the Lords, and I was bullied and threatened by powerful peers loyal to the Conservative Government of the day, who warned me of dire consequences if I continued to embarrass them." 8, Glenn Harrison had kept dozens of files from pupils alleging bullying and abuse while he was at the Queen Victoria School and wrote to parents warning of the dangers in 1991. It led to him being ousted from the school and just days before he left, police raided his home and confiscated the files.

9. Glenn states that Hamilton had been a friend of Ben Philip, the senior housemaster at QVS. Mr Philip died in December 1993, aged 46, when he fell from a ladder while hanging decorations.

Parallel Universes

Imagine that you throw the dice and, amazingly, get three sixes three times in a row.

In 1922, Bishop James Wedgwood settled in Paris "abandoning his ecclesiastical position temporarily to pursue a life of sexual excess."

He paraded himself at the Vatican, robed in Purple.

He was one of the top people in the Theosophy Movement.

He claimed that beings called the 'Masters', who lived in the Himalayas, held him in high regard, and that he was the recipient of mysterious messages from these Masters.

Reportedly, these 'Masters' were an 'invention' by Madame Blavatsky and the 'fraud' had been exposed as early as 1884. (theosophy)

In the early part of the last century, Wedgwood and other members of the Theosophists believed that a new Messiah was going to appear. Krishnamurti, an Indian discovered by Charles leadbeater, was thought by many to be the new Messiah.

Leadbeater took a keen interest in the male children of the Theosophists.

Vernon writes: "It came to light that Leadbeater had been teaching his boys masterbation, and had been encouraging them to practise it regularly... Leadbeater had in the past repeatedly stated the importance of sexual purity."

There is much evidence that leadbeater frequently shared beds with his pupils.

The adult Leadbeater discovered the handsome young boy Krishnamurti in India in 1909.

It was Leadbeater who taught Krishnamurti about the 'Masters'.

Krishnamurti had a brother called Nitya who developed tuberculosis. In 1925, when Nitya was seriously ill, Krishnamurti received word from mysterious higher beings that Nitya would recover his health. Krishnamurti described having a meeting on the astral plane with these higher beings. The Theosophist George Arundale reported that he had been assured personally by the Masters that they had great plans for Nitya's future.

Shortly afterwards, Nitya died.

Krishnamurti looked like a celibate guru. However, he had a long and intimate affair with his friend’s wife and then had a long and bitter legal battle against his friend in order to stop any knowledge of it becoming public.

How does a religion begin?

Are the people who talk of messages from angels and spirits, and the like, telling lies?

Roland Vernon's excellent and exciting book about the invention of a 'Messiah' (Star in the East: Krishnamurti, the Invention of a Messiah by Roland Vernon, London: Constable, 2000) should be read by all.

Vernon suggests that human beings invent or imagine the angels, masters and other such creatures.

But he believes we should not necessarily ignore these imaginings.

These inventions may, in some instances, represent or symbolise some kind of spiritual reality which cannot accurately be described in words or pictures. (Page 155 Star in the East)

Vernon writes: "The mind works to build physical images of what are essentially metaphysical entities".

Krishnamurti, after the death of his brother Nitya, gave up his belief in the Masters.

Krishnamurti came to believe that enlightenment was not to be found by messages from Tibet or by following some Messiah.

Krishnamurti decided that each person can find enlightenment immediately, from inside themselves.

The kingdom of heaven is within you.

According to Roland Vernon, Krishnamurti believed that there is some kind of divine energy in all creation and that enlightenment comes 'through a state of union with this energy.' (Vernon Page 215)

This idea is found in Hinduism.

Like Buddha, Krishnamurti thought that enlightenment comes when a person is freed from selfish desires such as the desire for money or fame.
