THE NIGHT THE ANGELS CAME

Cathy Glass has written The Night The Angels Came (HarperCollins).

The little boy who taught me how to love again.

Cathy Glass, as a foster carer, looked after around 100 children.

One of these children was eight-year-old Michael, whose mother was already dead and whose father was dying.

Eighteen months prior to Cathy taking on Michael, Cathy's middle aged husband had left her for his secretary, a woman in her early 20s.

'We can help Michael,' said Cathy's children, Adrian, eight, and Paula, four.

'I think Michael should come here,' said Adrian. 'We can help him.

'Paula and I know what it's like to lose your dad.

'I know divorce is different - we can still see our dad sometimes - but when Dad stopped living with us, in some ways it felt as though he’d died.'

Michael's father, Patrick, told Cathy that Michael as a Roman Catholic had a strong belief in the afterlife.

Cathy immersed herself in caring for Michael and his father.

One morning, Michael told Cathy he had woken early because he thought he had heard his father's voice.

'He spoke to me Cathy,' said a smiling Michael.

'He told me to hurry and get ready for school because the priest was waiting.'

Then the phone rang.

Michael's father had died during the night.

'He's with Mummy now,' said Michael.

Michael went to live with his two godparents, Colleen and Eamon.

Cathy and her children still see Michael.

Cathy writes: "I hold dear the lessons .... Michael taught us: that however insurmountable and all-consuming my problems may seem, there is always someone out there with something much worse, who is dealing with it with stoicism and undimmed humour."

UK TROOPS REPORTED KILLED IN LIBYA

The Russian press broke the story of the 17 captured British and French commandos on August 23

According to information from Tripoli, serious losses have been suffered in Libya by British special forces

On 23 August 2011, Argumenty.ru's Alexander Grigoriev reported:

According to a source in Tripoli, several British SAS special forces soldiers have been killed in Libya.

Some SAS soldiers have been taken prisoner by Gaddafi forces.

British military expert Peter Benchley believes that dead British soldiers have been evacuated from Libya.

In a conversation with Argumentami.ru, he suggested that it is likely that soon in Afghanistan or Pakistan there will be a report of a Taliban attack, during which troops will reportedly die.

According to The Guardian (SAS in Libya.):

"A number of serving British special forces soldiers, as well as former SAS troopers, are advising and training rebel forces, although their presence is officially denied.

"The Guardian has previously reported the presence of former British special forces troops, now employed by private security companies and funded by a number of sources, including Qatar.

BUT, what if the Zoroastrians have not got it quite right?

The Taoists refer to some kind of divine force called the Tao, but they say that it cannot be described in words.

It is difficult to imagine an old man in the sky designing this world on his design board.

It is difficult to imagine him designing a world in which one creatures survives by eating another creature.

So, maybe there was no Bible-style creation.

Maybe things have always existed.

Maybe there is a mysterious something which nourishes us.

Maybe we reap what we sow.

Maybe what we are now is due to what we thought in the past.

Maybe what we will become is what we are thinking now.

"They are technical experts and they include consultative officers.

"Most of them are French, one of them is from an Asian country that has not been identified, two English people and one Qatari."

The 'mercenaries could be special forces or people from private security firms.

This is probably not to be taken seriously.

On 12 September 2011, M J Rosenberg, Senior Foreign Policy Fellow at the Media Matters Action Network, wrote an article entitled:

According to Rosenberg:

1. The Turkish government has essentially broken relations with Israel.

What Rosenberg does not mention is that Turkey is very much part of the New World Order.

We suspect that either (A) Turkey's leaders are only pretending to 'oppose' Israel, or, (b) Turkey's leaders are about to be toppled.

The USA and Israel 'are joined at the hip'.



Recently Turkey and the USA signed an agreement on the deployment of a US radar as part of a NATO-backed missile defense system.

If Turkey's leaders really do want to make an enemy of Israel, and its friend America, then the CIA-Mossad-NATO can easily change the leadership in Turkey.

The CIA-Mossad-NATO found it so easy to topple Tusisia's Ben Ali, even though Tunisia was, like Turkey, a prosperous and moderate Moslem state.

The CIA-Mossad-NATO can so easily stir up the Kurds, and various others, in order to produce a Turkish Spring.

The Turkish military, having discovered that the CIA cannot be trusted, and having decided to become more nationalistic, has been drastically weakened by the present Islamist government.

"Ordinary Egyptians (not the government) attacked the Israeli embassy in Cairo, forcing all its personnel to return home to Israel."

What we should note here is that the CIA coup in Egypt has weakened Egypt.

A weakened Egypt is exactly what Israel wants.

"The Palestinians... are taking their case to the United Nations where an overwhelming majority of the General Assembly will endorse Palestinian statehood, even though Israel will still control the territory of the new state."

Exactly.

How does the USA topple a government?

We learn about "The CIA, and a Secret War" from L. Fletcher Prouty.

"Blood ran in the streets. Villages were wiped out and a million people massacred..."

There were two attempts by the CIA.

The first one failed and the second was 'a success'.

The first action, in 1958, "involved no less than 42,000 CIA-armed rebels supported by a fleet of bombers and vast numbers of four-engine transport aircraft as well as submarine assistance from the U.S. Navy."

The CIA's 1958 attack on Indonesia, the largest Moslem country in the world, was a total failure.

Indonesia's army stayed loyal to president Sukarno and 'the rebels' were defeated.

Indonesia's President Sukarno with Johnson, who was president at the time of the 1965 coup in Indonesia which toppled Sukarno.

The CIA got to work on the Indonesian generals, such as Suharto.

The second CIA attack on Indonesia, in 1965, was 'a success'.

It brought the CIA's General Suharto to power.

General Suharto 'proceeded to assassinate nearly one million people.'

Today, "major U.S. enterprises are plundering the raw material wealth of Indonesia - rubber, tin, and oil."

The Indonesian president who was toppled in 1965 was Sukarno.

Sukarno had wanted Indonesia to be neutral.

In Washington the Indonesian military attache got to know the CIA.

The CIA's Frank Wisner arranged for the miltary attache and CIA agents to visit Indonesian 'rebels'.

The CIA got its agents within the Philippines military to lend a hand.

The CIA's Frank Wisner, aided by Richard Helms, was in command of the 1958 operation.

General Lyman Lemnitzer, in Japan, provided weapons.

Rebel Indonesians, trained and equipped in the Philippines, were returned to Sumatra, in Indonesia.

Frank Wisner had his forward headquarters in Singapore.

Keeping an eye on the situation were President Eisenhower, CIA boss Allen Dulles, and Vice President Nixon.

Nixon chaired the "clandestine affairs committee" of the National Security Council.

"In other words nothing was done in Indonesia that was not directed by Nixon."

"While the CIA was supporting up to 100,000 rebels, the State Department professed innocence.

"The U.S. ambassador, Howard P. Jones, maintained that the United States had nothing to do with the rebellion."

US Secretary of State John Foster Dulles issued a statement saying that the United States would not provide arms to either side.

However, the USA's B-26 bombers were secretly dropping bombs.

U.S. Navy submarines were aiding the rebels.

One day, a B-26 came upon an Indonesian ship.

The B-26 was hit and it ditched near the ship.

The CIA pilot, an American named Allan Lawrence Pope, was captured.

Sukarno had his proof of U.S. involvement.

The 1958 rebellion collapsed.

Nixon sacked Frank Wisner.

Wisner had been Allen Dulles' heir apparent.

Nixon was not popular with the CIA.

The Outcast

Lonely seal pup - 'outcast from his colony'.

On 15th September 2011, the media reported on a Russian seal, discovered by photographer Anatoly Strakhov.

The seal is brown and has very poor eyesight.

Apparently the seal had been abandoned by his mother and was having to fend for himself.

"He was hiding and waiting for his mother to come and feed him."

Strakhov was with staff from a dolphinarium.

They took the pup into their care.

HOW TO IMPROVE A SCHOOL

Basildon Academies.

On 16th September 2011, the UK's Daily Mail reports on a UK school that has actually improved!

The wrong trousers? No ruler? Get out of my class!.

Basildon Academy, in Essex, was bad.

There was graffiti on walls.

Kids would get up in the middle of class to go for a cigarette.

Fighting, bullying and staff sickness were common.

The new boss of the school, Dr Rory Fox, has changed things.

On his first day at work, Dr Fox sent home 109 kids – for wearing the wrong uniform.

Scores were sent to after-school detention for failing to bring proper equipment to class.

Dozens were put in an isolation centre for disrupting lessons.

Teachers say they have now doubled the amount of teaching time in lessons, as they no longer have the disruption problems.

Most parents support Dr Fox.

Julie Terry, who has three children at the academy, said: "The change is remarkable.

"It’s a complete turnaround.

"Discipline is back, daily fights have gone."

His outstanding voice, 'angelic looks' and huge charisma made him the bookies' favourite.

An anonymous blogger produced a post suggesting that Britain's Got Talent was rigged.

Ronan came second in the contest, presumably saving the bookies some money.



Ronan is quoted in the Daily Mail as saying:

"Mum didn't want me to see the internet blogger thing, but I did anyway.

"It was all just lies.

"I was upset that people could say things like that.

"Simon called my mum up and said he was really sorry about it and very angry.

"He is such a lovely man.

"My parents said, 'We know the truth. You just need to concentrate on your performance.'

"When I was on the stage in the final I closed my eyes and forgot about all of it.

"Then when I finished and looked at Simon he gave me a little wink.

"I thought, 'Oh,' and wanted to smile."


Ronan prefers 'fashion' and 'music' to sport.

Ronan says: "Some kids would call me 'gay' when I'd walk past them.

"Some of the other boys just care about sport. I’m not like that.

"Instead I like to plan with my best friend Julia what our flat will be like when we're older.

"But everyone on TV gets things like that and I accept it."


"Girls do come up to me crying and shaking and say, 'I love you so much.'

"One day Julia and I were walking home when two girls saw us and just stood there, screaming.

"Julia was so shocked. To her I’m just Ronan, her best friend.

"My mum says you should always be who you are.

"If you try to change, you’ll only be unhappy. I'm me."

And the kids at school? "The ones who used to shout things at me smile at me now.

"I just smile back."
