BAE's £2.5 billion purchase of United Defense in 2005 added the M2/M3 Bradley family of armoured vehicles to its product line.


Allegedly, Britain's biggest manufacturing company, BAE Systems, is a bunch of corrupt arms dealers.

BAE is the world's second-largest defence contractor and the largest in Europe.[3].

Lockheed Martin is the world's largest defence contractor.

BAE has sold equipment to Indonesia, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Zimbabwe.

BAE's US subsidiary makes several subsystems for F-16s, 236 of which have been supplied to the Israel Defense Forces.[100]

In September 2003 The Sunday Times reported that BAE had hired a private security contractor to collate information about individuals working at the Campaign Against Arms Trade and their activities.[101][102]

In February 2007, it again obtained private confidential information from CAAT.[103]

On 2 October 2009, The Guardian, informed us about BAE Systems around the world.

From this we learn:

1. An Austrian, Count Alfons Mensdorff-Pouilly, from the early 90's, was BAE's secret middleman in the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary.

Reportedly, prosecutors have questioned him about an £11m payment which BAE made to him in connection with an aircraft deal.

They want to find out if the money was given to Czech politicians and officials.

A former Czech foreign minister, told undercover reporters that "money changed hands" with politicians there. He named two BAE executives.

2. In 2003, the Romanians paid BAE £116m in connection with two surplus British frigates.

A Romanian admiral has said his country could have bought similar warships from the Dutch for less than half the price.

The Serious Fraud Office investigated payments of £7m from BAE to a British middleman, Barry George who is married to a Romanian with close connections to the former communist regime.

3. In 1999, South Africa's ANC government spent £1.6bn buying fleets of Hawk and Gripen warplanes.

The Hawk was said to be twice the price of an Italian competitor.

A leaked Serious Fraud Office dossier alleged secret payments by BAE totalled more than £100m.

The dossier accused BAE of a corrupt relationship with Berkshire arms dealer John Bredenkamp.

Bredenkamp, according to one former BAE executive, "suggested identifying the key decision-makers, with a view to 'financially incentivising them' to make the right decision".

Joe Modise was the defence minister who handed the contract to BAE.

The dossier outlined millions of pounds paid to an aide to Modise, through secret offshore channels.

4. Tanzania took out a loan to buy a £28m military radar system in 2001.

BAE is alleged to have paid £9m in bribes to secure the contract.

Tony Blair pushed the deal through.

A Tanzanian middleman, Sailesh Vithlani, is alleged to have been sent the payment to his Swiss account via a BAE front company registered in the British Virgin Islands.

In 2008, Andrew Chenge, a Tanzanian minister, was forced to resign last after the Guardian revealed that investigators had discovered more than £ 500,000 in his Jersey offshore accounts.

According to Wikipedia, Saudi Arabia's Prince Bandar helped negotiate the 1985 Al Yamamah deal, a series of massive arms sales by the United Kingdom to Saudi Arabia worth GB£40 billion (US$80 billion), including the sale of more than 100 warplanes.

After the deal was signed, British Aerospace (now BAE Systems) allegedly funnelled secret payments of at least GB£1 billion (US$2 billion) into two Saudi embassy accounts in Washington, in yearly instalments of up to GB£120 million (US$240 million) over at least 10 years.

Bandar allegedly took money for personal use out of the accounts, as the purpose of one of the accounts was to pay the operating expenses of the prince's private Airbus A340.

After Margaret Thatcher signed the al-Yamamah arms deal with Saudi Arabia, her son Mark Thatcher "was alleged, based on transcripts of telephone conversations between Saudi princes and agents, to have enjoyed £12m in commissions."

"The argument that jobs derived from exporting weapons cannot be replaced is akin to the argument for keeping open uneconomic coal mines for the sake of employment.

"Defence exports", measured by orders rather than sales, are worth around £5-6 billion a year or a little over 0.5 per cent of GDP. The number of workers employed is 130,000.

A cut of one-third would eliminate the most dubious items. This would mean a loss of 0.167 per cent of GDP or just over 40,000 jobs.

If British arms exports were cut by £1 billion or £2 billion a year, the cost could be a small deterioration in the terms of exchange between British exports and imports from overseas amounting to around 0.25 per cent of GDP.

But arms sales are so heavily supported by the taxpayer that there might actually be a gain in moving the workers, plant and technical skills to other activities that could pay for themselves.

The drive for arms sales distorts the design and production plans of British manufacturers and, in the view of some defence economists, offsets the savings in overheads.

A European Commission survey of human trafficking found that Iranian women made up 10-15% of the prostitutes working in Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy.

"Prostitution is on the rise in Iran ... The age of prostitutes is increasingly younger, and girls as young as 12 are selling their bodies on Iran's streets.

4. On 27 September 2009, the Sunday Times (UK) had an article about stately homes and sexy parties

A titled gentleman offers his 15-bedroom mansion to porn directors at about £5,000 a time.

He also rents his home to Emma Sayle, the owner of a club for the 'sexually elite'.

According to Sayle: "At our parties, the clientele are elite, high-end, good-looking City-boy types. They might be in advertising or media and need venues to entertain clients...

"One castle contacted us about two years ago. They said, 'We’ve got a large vaulted dungeon and you can use it if you like.' At the time we were putting together various fantasies, like kidnapping scenarios, and it was obvious — we’ll use it for dungeon breaks."

They 'offer the latest S&M paraphernalia'.

A multimillionaire estate agent thought he was renting out his house for innocent parties and weddings.

He returned to his home to find topless dancers, a 'priest', masks and cloaks.

According to Sayle, "We get contacted quite a lot by people in other countries offering us their venues..." including a house in Chamonix and a luxury yacht in Istanbul.



5. On 27 September 2009, the News of the World (UK) had the headline: Liverpool millionaire supplies cocaine and £150-an-hour hookers

According to this story:

George Cullen, a millionaire security expert, works at the heart of Liverpool Football Club.

He runs an electronic ticketing system, used by more than one club. His business keeps personal data on supporters using turnstiles.

His system is installed at Falkirk, Dunfermline and St Mirren football clubs in Scotland.

He has a deal to install it at Santos in Brazil, one of the stadiums that will host the 2014 World Cup.

According to the News of the World, he supplies cocaine and £150-an-hour prostitutes to clients to help seal his business deals.

He told undercover reporters who posed as owners of a foreign stadium: "I brought some (coke) with me. It's £100 a gram. Peruvian flake. It's as good as you can get . . . just let me know how much you want."



6. The Scotland on Sunday newspaper reported on Pentagon Sex Slaves!

Madeleine Rees, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Bosnia, referred to the reported involvement in sex crimes of UN officials, international peacekeepers and police.

Rees accused Jacques Paul Klein, the former head of the UN Mission in Bosnia, of not taking UN complicity in the country’s burgeoning sex trade seriously enough.

There has been large scale trafficking of girls in Bosnia, some as young as 12.

The girls have been taken from their homes in eastern Europe by criminal gangs and brought to Bosnia.

The trade in ‘sex slaves’ was fuelled by the arrival of tens of thousands of UN personnel in 1995.

Rees said: "Visiting brothels where women have been gang-raped into submission, into slavery, is not part of the UN’s mandate.

"Without an enforceable code of conduct, immunity often means impunity. We should look at ways of waiving that immunity.

"I would be very happy to see the possibility of prosecutions for rape or assault in the UK. There is no question this should happen."

Rees, who has served in Bosnia since 1998, said she had encountered stiff opposition from western officials in her attempts to tackle the trafficking of women.

" They don’t want to know about it," she said.

"There is this whole ‘boys will be boys’ attitude about men visiting brothels. There’s a culture inside the UN where you can’t criticise it. That goes all the way to the top."

Rees testified in support of Kathryn Bolkovac, a UN police officer who was sacked for exposing the sexual abuse of women and children in Bosnia by her colleagues.

Bolkovac’s former employer DynCorp, an American security firm which supplied staff to the UN, was forced to pay £110,000 in compensation.

The chairman of the British employment tribunal which heard the case described DynCorp as "callous, spiteful and vindictive".

Bolkovac revealed UN peacekeepers went to nightclubs where young girls were forced to dance naked and have sex with customers, and that UN personnel and international aid workers were linked to prostitution rings in the Balkans.

Harold Wilson was President of the Board of Trade (a government minister) from 1947-51.

The few people who could get permission from the Board of Trade to import materials were in a position to become vastly rich.

Among the lucky few who got licenses were Montague Meyer, Joe Kagan and Rudy Sternberg, all of them Jewish.

Kagan and Sternberg later became peers.

Meyer gave Wilson a consultancy which took him on frequent trips to Moscow and Eastern Europe.

After the 'mysterious' death of Hugh Gaitskell, Wilson became Labour leader and eventually Prime Minister.

Montague Meyer, it turned out, was the man who had bought up much of the timber felled in Tanganyika during Labour's ill-fated groundnut scheme.

Then there was Labour MP Edward Short 'who had been in the habit of receiving bundles of banknotes from T Dan Smith', the city boss of Newcastle and one time partner of Eric Levine.

Kagan was a frequent visitor to Downing Street.

He was also on friendly terms with the station chief of the Russian KGB.

After being questioned by the police about tax and currency offences he eventually 'fled' to Israel, where perhaps his real allegiance lay.

Sir Rudy Sternberg was also under investigation by the security services.

Victor Rothschild, who worked with Kim Philby at the MI6 offices set up at the Rothschild family mansion in Paris. Edward Heath in 1970 appointed Rothschild head of the government's Central Policy Review Staff. It was later claimed that Rothschild persuaded Heath to appoint Michael Hanley as Director General of MI5 in 1972. Later Margaret Thatcher appointed Rothschild as her unofficial security adviser.

1. Last Spring, Rose Gottemoeller, an assistant secretary of state and Washington's chief nuclear arms negotiator, asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Israel refused.

2. The United Nations passed a resolution calling on Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. Israel refused.

3. The IAEA asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. Israel refused.

4. Iran's formal notification to the IAEA of the planned construction of the backup fuel-rod facility underscores that Iran is playing by the rules of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty which Iran has signed.

5. Iran allows IAEA inspections of all its facilities.

6. Contrary to face-saving claims, it appears that the US and Israel were both caught off guard by Iran's announcement. The reasoning is simple. Had the US or Israel announced the existence of he new facility before Iran's notified the IAEA, it would have put Iran on the defensive.

As it is now, the US and Israel seem to be playing catch up, casting doubt on the veracity of Israel's claims to "know" that Iran is a nuclear threat.

7. The IAEA and all 16 United States Intelligence Agencies are unanimous in agreement that Iran is not building and does not possess nuclear weapons.

8. In 1986, Mordachai Vanunu blew the whistle and provided photographs showing Israel's clandestine nuclear weapons factory underneath the reactor at Dimona.

9. Israel made the same accusations against Iraq that it is making against Iran, leading up to Israel's bombing of the power station at Osirik. Following the invasion of 2003, international experts examined the ruins of the power station at Osirik and found no evidence of a clandestine weapons factory in the rubble.

10. The United Nations has just released the Goldstone Report, a scathing report which accuses Israel of 37 specific war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza earlier this year.

Israel has denounced the report as "Anti-Semitic (even though Judge Goldstone is himself Jewish), and the United States will block the report from being referred to the War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague, thereby making the US Government an accessory after-the-fact.

We all need to be Joe Wilson right now. We need to stand up and scream, "LIAR!" at every politician and every talking media moron that is pushing this war in Iran. And we need to keep dong it until they get the message that we will not be deceived any more.

Devastating Indonesian earthquake 'still to come'

According to an article at New Scientist, the earthquake which hit Padang in Sumatra, Indonesia, in September 2009, killing more than 1100 people, "may have been only a hint of worse to come."

Since 2004, geologists have been predicting a far nastier earthquake in the region – "a shallow tremor that will rip the sea floor apart, trigger a devastating tsunami and kill far more people."


John McCloskey, a seismologist at the Environmental Sciences Research Institute at the University of Ulster in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, predicts a bigger quake will hit Padang.

Over 100,000 people – a seventh of the city's population – are blocked from escaping to higher ground by the barbed wire-laced, 10-metre-high walls of a huge military airport.

"Padang needs to build a tunnel under that airport, because if they don't these poor people will have to run parallel to the coast for several hundred metres while the tsunami is coming at them," says McCloskey.

According to legal papers, released on 2 October 2009, Paul and Tony Gauci, key people in the conviction of the Lockerbie bomber, were secretly given rewards of up to $3m (£1.9m).

This deal was discussed by Scottish detectives and the US government.

The US Department of Justice (DoJ) was asked to pay $2m to Tony Gauci.

Gauci is the Maltese shopkeeper who gave evidence that Megrahi had bought clothes later used in the suitcase that allegedly held the Lockerbie bomb.

The DoJ was also asked to pay $1m to his brother, Paul Gauci, who played a role in identifying the clothing and in "maintaining the resolve of his brother".

The secret payments were uncovered by the Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission (SCCRC).

Many references to the payments were in private diaries kept by the detectives involved.

A memo written by "DI Dalgleish" to "ACC Graham" in 2007 confirms the Gaucis received "substantial payments from the American authorities".

The inspector claims there was "a real danger that if [the] SCCRC's statement of reasons is leaked to the media, Anthony Gauci could be portrayed as having given flawed evidence for financial reward."

The documents disclose that in 1989 the FBI told Dumfries and Galloway police that they wanted to offer Gauci "unlimited money" and $10,000 immediately.



In 23 police interviews, Gauci gave contradictory evidence about who he believed bought the clothes, the person's age, appearance and the date of purchase.

Two identification experts said the police and prosecution broke the rules on witness interviews, using "suggestive" lines of questioning and allowing "irregular" identification line-ups.

Two new witnesses, Michael Rufalo and David Wright, disproved the prosecution claim that Megrahi was in Gauci's shop on 7 December.

Gauci said the area's Christmas lights were not on when the clothes were bought.

Michael Rufalo, Maltese high commissioner to the UK, told the SCCRC the lights were switched on on 6 December.

David Wright saw two different men buying very similar clothes on a different day.

At the end of September 2009, hundreds of people took to the New York state capitol to protest the regulation making the annual influenza vaccination and the forthcoming H1N1 vaccine (Swine Flu) mandatory for state health care workers.

Research published in the August 25 issue of the British Medical Journal revealed that more than half of doctors and nurses in UK public hospitals would refuse the H1N1 vaccine, due to concerns about side effects and doubts about its efficacy. A few months ago, Austrian journalist Jane Burgermeister filed criminal charges against the World Health Organisation, the UN and a pharmaceutical company, Baxter International, for the attempted mass murder of hundreds of thousands of us.

Baxter International apparently distributed 75 kilos of LIVE 'Avian Flu' (H5N1) within doses of alleged swine flu vaccine.

Because of the strict controls required to licence production of vaccines, the chances of this having occurred by accident are effectively zero.

It was only through the vigilance of Czech technicians that it was spotted before doing untold damage across 18 countries.

Apparently Baxter have faced no repercussions at all for this, and the mainstream media did not even think it worthy of a mention.

One can't help feeling it should have been headline news globally.

Baxter are, I understand, one of two companies set to supply the UK with its stocks of Swine Flu "vaccine".

Apparently Swine Flu does not, and has never occurred spontaneously in nature, and it appears the strain H1N1 can only have been manufactured in a laboratory.

There is not ONE confirmed case of a pig infected with it anywhere in the world.

Baxter too have something of a chequered past - they are the same company who were responsible for the distribution of thousands of blood products tainted with HIV, which led to the deaths of many men women and children.

They continued the distribution of these products even after the contamination was known.

Its also perhaps telling that Baxter won a patent for H1N1 vaccine in 2007, long before the disease had ever come to prominence.

Following her research, Burgermeister believes we are about to be assaulted by the eugenics policy often discussed by the likes of the Club Of Rome, to ‘cull’ the human population of the planet to a more "manageable" level, disguised as an immunisation program response to a fake pandemic of their making.

Whether this is the case or is just another instance of blind corporate greed, makes no difference - the threat remains the same.

On 2 October 2009 it was announced that Peter Pan's house is to be saved from the bulldozers

Moat Brae, the house in Dumfries that inspired J M Barrie's Peter Pan, has been saved from demolition.

It has been bought by the Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust, which is backed by actress Joanna Lumley. (Help Save Moat Brae)

Moat Brae was where J M Barrie played as a child.

The Peter Pan Moat Brae Trust aims to raise more than £2 million to restore the property.

Joanna Lumley said: "To have such a strong literary link with the greatest fairy story of all time is thrilling.

Trust chairman Roger Windsor said: "It was Peter Pan who said 'Dreams do come true, if we only wish hard enough'.

There are German fascist links to Islamists in Egypt and in Pakistan.

Asia Times, 4 December 2002, had an article on Islamism, fascism and terrorism.

According to this article:

1. King Farouk brought large numbers of German ex-Nazis into Egypt as advisors.

Some of these began working with the Muslim Brotherhood and with Gamal Abdel Nasser.

In 1951, the CIA's Kermit Roosevelt was working with Nasser.

2. When Farouk was toppled in 1952, by people linked to Nasser, Newsweek commented that, "The most intriguing aspect (of) the revolt ... was the role played in the coup by the large group of German advisors serving with the Egyptian army ... The young officers who did the actual planning consulted the German advisors as to 'tactics' ... This accounted for the smoothness of the operation."
