One of the prostitutes allegedly used by motor racing boss Max Mosley is married to an MI5 agent, it emerged on 17 May 2008.

Do the security services run brothels?

1. Reportedly, in the 1950s and 1960s, MI5 ran a brothel in Church Street in Kensington for the use of visiting dignitaries, diplomats and intelligence officers.

Stephen Ward

2. In the 1960s, Dr. Stephen Ward was reportedly the pimp for a ring of call-girls that operated out of Ward's cottage on the Clivedon estate of Lord Astor. Ward befriended Christeen Keeler.

John Profumo

In 1963, UK Secretary of War John Profumo was compromised by his affair with Keeler. It seems that she had also been sleeping with a top Soviet KGB agent in London, Capt. Yevgeny Ivanov.

3. Reportedly, Dr Stephen Ward had an MI5 controller, Keith Wagstaffe (cover-name 'Woods').

Reportedly, Sir Colin Coote, Editor of the Daily Telegraph and a former officer in the Secret Intelligence Service, was responsible for introducing Ward to Ivanov at the behest of his old service.

Anthony Blunt

4. Allegedly, "Steven ward was running a spy-ring investigating the whereabouts of 'the Hess files', thought to be kept in the home of one of the nobility (or even in the palace archives). Ward and prostitute Ronna Ricardo came upon a paedophile ring run by Anthony Blunt, and included ... a lot of top people incl polititians... Clay Shaw

6. In Toronto, Michael Eddowes "knocked on the door of an apartment owned by one of Clay Shaw's boyfriends: it was opened by a fellow named Robin Drury. Drury, a homosexual, had been the 'agent'of Christine Keeler during the time of the British sex scandal known as the Profumo Affair." Clay Shaw's name had been linked to the Kennedy assassination. 7. Reportedly, J. Edgar Hoover was fully aware that 'the Ward circle included many extremely well known Americans and girls such as Suzy Chang and Mariella Novotny who had been bedded by President John F. Kennedy.'

Ward was prosecuted on "trumped up charges of living on 'immoral earnings'."

8. Christine Keeler, in her book 'The Truth At Last', claims that:

1. Ward and MI5 chief Roger Hollis were spies for the Russians.

2. She met Hollis and Blunt in Ward's flat.

3. Ward was probably murdered.

4. She may have been set up from the start.

5. Ward asked her to find out from Profumo when Germany would get nuclear weapons.

Harold Wilson

9. Who gained from the Profumo Affair?

Harold Wilson became UK Prime Minister.

Anatoli Golitsin, a spy who defected from the KGB, claimed that Hugh Gaitskell was murdered in 1963 so that Harold Wilson, a 'KGB agent', could become leader of the Labour Party.

Was Wilson working for Russia or Israel?

Harold Wilson was President of the Board of Trade from 1947-51. The few people who could get permission from the Board of Trade to import heavily rationed raw materials or finished goods were in a good position to become vastly rich. Among the lucky few who got licenses were Montague Meyer, Joe Kagan and Rudy Sternberg. Kagan and Sternberg later became peers. Meyer gave Wilson a consultancy which took him on frequent trips to Moscow and Eastern Europe.

After the 'mysterious' death of Hugh Gaitskell, Wilson became Labour leader and eventually Prime Minister. Harold Wilson's 'private office' was funded in secret by a wealthy group which included Lord Goodman, Sir Samuel Fisher, and Rudy Sternberg.

In the 1970's, Private Eye began to receive information of a possible link between Wilson and the Israeli secret service and the KGB. In connection with alleged plots, the names of various people were handed to Private Eye.

Labour MP Ian Mikardo had at one time partnered Leslie Paisner in a business that traded with East Germany. Mikardo's pair in the House of Commons was Barnaby Drayson who worked for Rudy Sternberg, as did Wilfred Owen MP who had resigned after being revealed as a spy for Czechoslovakia. Montague Meyer, it turned out, was the man who had bought up much of the timber felled in Tanganyika during Labour's ill-fated groundnut scheme.

Then there was Labour MP Edward Short 'who had been in the habit of receiving bundles of banknotes from T Dan Smith', the city boss of Newcastle and one time partner of Eric Levine.

Kagan was a frequent visitor to Downing Street. He was also on friendly terms with the station chief of the Russian KGB. After being questioneded by the police about tax and currency offences he eventually 'fled' to Israel, where perhaps his real allegiance lay.

Sir Rudy Sternberg was also under investigation by the security services.

What may have stopped Private Eye from finally getting at the truth was the intervention of the Jewish businessman James Goldsmith, a friend of PM Wilson's personal secretary, Marcia Williams. Marcia was also a friend of Kagan. Private Eye had mistakenly claimed that Goldsmith had been present at a lunch given by John Aspinall, on the day after the disappearance of Lord Lucan. Goldsmith began criminal libel proceedings against Private Eye.

Patrick Marnham, in his brilliant book "Trail of Havoc: In the Steps of Lord Lucan", writes that Goldsmith was "effectively silencing the only newspaper which migh t have made headway with the ....allegations."

Goldsmith later became a lord. Sir Joseph Kagan was later imprisoned.

But the possible links between Labour and Israel's secret service may not have ended with Wilson. Private Eye began to take an interest in Robert Maxwell, the chief fund raiser for Labour. Maxwell received a peerage, mysteriously disappeared, and 'his body' was buried with great honour in Israel. It was assumed by many that he was a top Israeli spy.

And what of Tony Blair. Private Eye has pointed out that Blair's chief fund raiser is Lord Levy, a man with strong links to Israel. Blair's chief foreign policy adviser was Sir David Manning........

10. Anthony Blunt

According to T. Stokes (Illuminati News: The Mystery of Super Spy - Sir Anthony Blunt):

"Blunt and F. B. I Chief J. Edgar Hoover both subscribed to the theory that the Jewish underground, the 'Sanyanim', supported Russia through World War two.

"Blunts colleague and fellow traitor Kim Philby actually married Litzi Friedman, a Jewish underground runner for Soviet Intelligence..."

While undergoing a cataract operation, Blunt "blurted out to the surgeon accusations about the comedy actor Charlie Chaplin being blackmailed into being a top A.I.P (agent in place) for the Jewish underground, under threat of exposure about his tastes in underage girls, his recruitment by Lord Victor Rothschild, of his own involvement with both the Russians, and of Blunt being 'turned on sexually' by the shiny boots, and fur busbies that Guardsmen wore...

UK soldiers were ordered by senior officers to torture Iraqis

UK soldiers were ORDERED by officers to torture prisoners, according to the News of the World

The UK military has a long history of torturing and killing innocent people.

On 3 August 2008, The News of the World reported the testimony of Captain Tam Henderson which 'blows apart Ministry of Defence denials that the Army systematically abuses captives'.

Henderson, who set up Basra's notorious Camp Stephen, told the News of the World that 'he was told to hood prisoners with sandbags and make them run through screaming gauntlets before kneeling in blazing temperatures for hours'.

This practice was outlawed by the UK Government 30 years ago.

Henderson described how two captives died within four days of each other after hoodings authorised by battalion HQ.

Henderson said: "We were told how to ‘condition' POWs in a training course before the war even started."

Iraqi hotel worker Baha Mousa sustained 93 injuries in custody and endured 36 hours of abuse before dying in a blacked-out cell.

Former Armed Forces minister Adam Ingram has been accused of misleading a parliamentary committee by suggesting the practice of hooding was not widespread.

Henderson is quoted by The News of the World as saying: "The comments made by Adam Ingram that this was not widespread and Des Browne's statement that it may have happened but only by a small minority is complete horses***."

There have been allegations of Nazi-style abuse of Iraqis by British soldiers.

"Statements were taken last month in Damascus from hospital workers who say they saw the bodies of Iraqis handed over by the soldiers for burial. They claim the bodies show evidence of gouged-out eyes, serious injuries to genitals, asphyxiation and hanging." - Lawyers take MoD to court over Iraqi mutilation claims

"It appears that 22 Iraqis were taken into detention alive, only to be returned in body bags 20 hours later. But worse still, the evidence suggests a catalogue of abuse: first, that soldiers had earlier executed Iraqis in front of a number of witnesses; second, some of them were executed by shooting at close range or strangulation; third, many of the bodies show clear evidence of torture; fourth, bodies had been mutilated with eyes gouged out, and multiple stab wounds and body parts severed (including a penis)" - A catalogue of abuse

Louise Jensen

In Cyprus, in 1994, three British soldiers kidnapped, raped and murdered a girl called Louise Jensen.

Louise was repeatedly raped and then beaten to death with a shovel.

On 27 March 1996, the three soldiers were convicted of abduction, rape and manslaughter and sentenced to life imprisonment. (Louise Jensen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

They were released in August 2006 after spending only a few years in custody.


Baha Mousa

Private Stuart Mackenzie was in Iraq in 2003 ( Diary of a squaddie: Sunburn, sore feet and three more Ali Babas ... ) He was attached to the Queen's Lancashire Regiment which ran the detention centre in which Iraqi hotel worker Baha Mousa was held before dying from the 93 injuries he sustained.

Mackenzie kept a diary and extracts were produced at the court martial of the seven soldiers who were acquitted of abusing prisoners.

Mackenzie wrote:

Leg and a winged [threw] Ali Baba into Shat al Arab [Shatt al-Arab canal] for stealing wood. Piss funny....

On 4 hour patrol - ... found anti-aircraft gun ... Horse bit me. Found 3 Ali Babas at WTP7. Beat them up with sticks and filmed it - good day so far...

House raid, for hours, nothing found. Caught 3 Ali Babas - beat fuck out of them in back of Saxon. 1 had a punctured lung + broken ribs + fingers. 1 had a dislocated shoulder + broken fingers...

The British military have a growing reputation for behaving like Nazis.

Harry Farr

During World War I, Britain executed 306 of its own soldiers, some as young as 14 years of age. (http://www.wsws.org/articles/1999/nov1999/shot-n16.shtml)

A typical case is that of Harry Farr, who joined the British Expeditionary Force in 1914 and fought in the trenches.

His position was repeatedly shelled, and in May 1915 he collapsed with strong convulsions.

In hospital, his wife Gertrude—who was denied a widow's pension after the war—recalled, “he shook all the time. He couldn't stand the noise of the guns. We got a letter from him, but it was in a stranger's handwriting. He could write perfectly well, but couldn't hold the pen because his hand was shaking.”

It is now thought that Farr was possibly suffering from hypacusis, which occurs when the eardrums are so damaged that the auditory nerve becomes exposed, making loud noises physically unbearable. Despite this, Farr was sent back to the front and fought at the Somme. After several months of fighting, he requested to see a medical orderly but was refused.

In Farr's Court Martial papers, the Sergeant Major is quoted as saying “If you don't go up to the f*****g front, I'm going to f*****g blow your brains out” to which Farr simply replied “I just can't go on.”

The Court Martial was over in 20 minutes. Harry Farr had to defend himself. General Haig signed his death warrant and he was shot at dawn on October 16, 1916.

Prior to World War II, elements of the British military were fans of Hitler.

According to Admiral Sir Barry Domville, a pre-war head of UK Naval Intelligence, Hitler was "absolutely terrific."

According to MacDonogh's evidence, at the end of World War II, the British military and its allies went in for rape, torture and murder.

Ian Cobain, in The Guardian 17 December 2005 wrote about the secret torture centres set up by the British military after World War II - The interrogation camp that turned prisoners into living skeletons ...

One of the British torture centres was at Bad Nenndorf, near Hanover.

372 men and 44 women passed through the Bad Nenndorf torture centre during the 22 months it operated before its closure in July 1947.

A Scotland Yard detective, Inspector Tom Hayward, investigated Bad Nenndorf.

He describes how prisoners were systematically beaten and exposed to extreme cold; some were starved to death and, allegedly, tortured with instruments that his fellow countrymen had recovered from a Gestapo prison in Hamburg.

Many of the prisoners were simply German leftists.

Others were Germans living in the Russian zone who had crossed the line, offered to spy on the Russians, and were tortured to establish whether they were genuine defectors.

One of the men who was starved to death, Walter Bergmann, had offered to spy for the British, and fell under suspicion because he spoke Russian.

Another man who starved to death, Franz Osterreicher, had been arrested while attempting to enter the British zone in search of his gay lover.

Ingrid Groth, then a seven-year-old, said locals claimed that if you crept up to the barbed wire at night, you could hear the prisoners' screams.

The commanding officer was Robin "Tin Eye" Stephens of MI5.

The inmates were starved, woken during the night, and forced to walk up and down their cells from early morning until late at night. When moving about the prison they were expected to run, while soldiers kicked them.

Prisoners could be stripped and repeatedly doused in water. This punishment could continue for weeks, even in sub-zero temperatures.

Naked prisoners were handcuffed back-to-back and forced to stand before open windows in midwinter. Frostbite became common.

One victim of the cold cell punishment was Buttlar...an anti-Nazi, he had spent two years as a prisoner of the Gestapo.

"I never in all those two years had undergone such treatments," he said.

Reportedly, the British military also got into bed with the Nazis.

After the war, "British authorities called off the hunt for the man who organised the Nazi Holocaust just 17 months after the end of World War II, files have revealed. The files relating to Adolf Eichmann were released by The National Archives. They show that at the time the decision was made, Eichmann was hiding in the British-controlled zone of Germany. Horst Kopkow, one of Hitler’s top spies, who ordered the murders of more than 100 British secret agents in concentration camps, was spared execution as a war criminal and went to work for MI6. He wrote:

Curtis said he came up with the term “Unpeople” because he thought it adequately described the British government’s attitude towards people who are expendable in Britain’s pursuit of economic and political goals.

“Last year,” Curtis said in a phone interview, “there was a British army officer who was quoted in Iraq as saying the Americans view the Iraqis only as Untermenschen, the Nazi concept of subhuman. In a way, the British have no real different regard for Iraqis than Americans."

Mark Curtis says that in 1971 an official British investigation found that the British army's torture techniques "played an important part in counter-insurgency operations in Palestine, Malaya, Kenya, Cyprus and the British Cameroons (1960-1), Brunei (1963), British Guiana (1964), Aden (1964-7), Borneo/Malaysia (1965-6), the Persian Gulf (1970-1) and in Northern Ireland (1971)".

In KENYA, the British used beatings, sexual humiliation, hooding, sleep deprivation, and bombarding with white noise.

32 Whites were killed by the Mau Mau during the five-year state of emergency. More whites died in traffic accidents in the capital city, Nairobi.

Kenyans were forced into concentration camps and routinely tortured. Some 150,000 Africans died as a direct result of the British policy.

There was a "constant stream of reports of brutalities by police, military and home guards", wrote Canon Bewes, a British missionary. "Some of the people had been using castration instruments and two men had died under castration."

Other brutalities included slicing off ears, boring holes in eardrums, flogging people to death, pouring paraffin over suspects and setting them alight and burning eardrums with cigarettes.

A British district officer admitted, "There was outright abuse of power and some of the crimes committed were horrific. One day six Mau Mau suspects were brought into a police station in the neighbouring district to mine. The British police inspector in charge lined them up against a wall and shot them."

A mobile gallows travelled the country. Over 1,000 were hanged, their bodies displayed at crossroads and market places.

MALAYSIA

The British used terror in Malaya.

This involved aerial bombing, massacres of villagers, dictatorial police measures and the "resettlement" of hundreds of thousands of people.

CYPRUS

During the state of emergency, from 1952 to 1957, the British army used torture.

Cypriot Nicos Koshies:

"They took me to the Special Branch and they started beating me. They took off all my clothes, they tied my hands and feet. They asked somebody to come in. He was taking a stick to put up my bottom, he was putting cloths in water and putting them on my face so I could not breathe, he threw me down and danced on my stomach when he was wearing boots. After 12 days I could not recognise myself."

James Callaghan in the House of Commons:

"On 29 June 1957 an inquest was held into the death of Nicos Georghiou. Dr Clearkin said in evidence that bruises in the head were sufficiently severe to have caused the injuries to the brain, perhaps bumping the head against a hard object."

IRAN

In 1953 a coup organised by the British and the USA overthrew Mossadeq and gave power to the Shah.

British SAS forces trained the Shah's Savak secret police.

SAS officers helped train the Iranian army in special operations against the Kurds.

The Shah's regime used torture until it was overthrown in 1979.

ADEN/SOUTH YEMEN

In Aden, later known as South Yemen, SAS squads used terror against local villages.

An official investigation found that from 1964 to 1967 detainees at a British interrogation centre were routinely tortured. Their eardrums were burst.

Others were forced to lean against walls with their fingertips for day and subjected to white noise for hours.

BAHRAIN

Former detainees in Bahrain have described being beaten, electrocuted, whipped, tied in excruciating positions for days on end, kept awake, starved and having their toenails torn out.

NORTHERN IRELAND

The Compton official inquiry acknowledged that the army hooded suspects, fed them on just bread and water and blasted them with noise.

An Amnesty International report said, "It is because we regard the deliberate destruction of a man's ability to control his own mind with revulsion that we reserve a special place in our catalogue of moral crimes for techniques of thought control and brainwashing. Any interrogation procedure which has the purpose or effect of causing a malfunction or breakdown of a man's mental processes constitutes as grave an assault on the inherent dignity of the human person as more traditional techniques of physical torture."

A European human rights report found that British army techniques amounted to "inhuman and degrading treatment" causing "at least intense physical and mental suffering".

Birmingham and other UK links to Jersey child abuse and murder

In the UK, it has been alleged that dangerous child abusers held key positions in certain local government authorities, such as Islington in London.

It has been alleged that these dangerous child abusers had links to child abuse on the island of Jersey and beyond.

In The Mail on Sunday, 3 August 2008, Eileen Fairweather, wrote that Birmingham council illegally sent children into care on Jersey, according to a report by John Hemming, Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for Birmingham Yardley.

According to The Mail on Sunday:

1. Member of Parliament John Hemming discovered that Children were illegally placed in care on Jersey by Birmingham social services.

The whereabouts of at least one of these children remains unknown.

2. John Hemming, believes children from other parts of the UK were taken to Jersey.

3. Hemming says: 'The Government has refused to order councils to check properly because it does not want to open a can of worms, on the links between abusers in England and Jersey.'

4. UK Schools Minister Kevin Brennan has told Parliament that children from the UK cannot be placed in care in Jersey without a court order.

Yet Birmingham children were sent to Jersey without such orders.

5. Hemming has asked English councils (local governments) to check their records but 'Most seem only to have done cursory checks, just checking recent electronic files, or asking around the office.'

Some councils, including Islington, have refused to check their records.

6. In Islington in North London a child sex network infiltrated 12 children's homes, while Margaret Hodge (friend of Tony Blair) was council leader.

Key staff, The Mail on Sunday revealed, were from Jersey or had strong Channel Islands connections.

Liz Davies, a former Islington senior social worker, said:

'It is becoming clear that children at Haut de la Garenne (on Jersey) were sent on holiday to children's homes in England which were also notorious for abuse, while the children in the English homes they went to were sent to Haut de la Garenne. They literally swapped beds...

'I am perturbed that police in Britain have not written to all local authorities on the mainland to demand they check which children they sent to Jersey.'

Jason Swift

In 1985, 14-year-old Jason Swift was killed by a child-abuse gang.

Jason is believed to have lived in Islington council's Conewood Street children's home. (Jersey child abuse link to Islington, London)

Sidney Cooke, Leslie Bailey, Robert Oliver, and Lennie Smith, were imprisoned in 1989 for the manslaughter of Jason Swift.

Cooke and his gang had sexually tortured and prostituted a number of boys.

The gang is believed to have killed at least nine children.[2]

Cooke was sentenced to 19 years in prison.

In 1998, Cooke was let out of prison eight years early.

There have been allegations that very powerful people have been involved in a child-abuse ring connected to Islington children's homes. ( Jersey child abuse link to Islington, London)

In 1982 Margaret Hodge (nee Oppenheimer) became Islington council leader.

She became a close friend of Tony Blair, who lived in Islington, a few doors away from Hodge.

In February 1990 Liz Davies and David Cofie, senior social workers, discovered evidence of sex abuse of children and reported it to a residents' meeting attended by Mrs Hodge.

In May 1990 Mr Cofie and Ms Davies were told by Lyn Cusack, assistant director of social services, to stop interviewing children about the abuse claims.

On 1 May 1997 Tony Blair moved from Islington to Downing Street.

The Independent, 9 March 2008, has an article on missing children (Our children are missing: Most vulnerable youngsters are targeted) which tells us the following:

The UK's Police National Missing Persons Bureau has 1,418 "open cases" of missing children.

According to Police figures more than 100 children who should be in care have been missing for at least four years.

Many children who go missing are not reported to the police.

Member of parliament Helen Southworth says: "All figures on children missing from anywhere are estimates because, astonishingly, there is no requirement for data to be recorded or collected nationally."

Almost 1,000 children went missing from UK residential and foster care in 2007.

The number that went missing from care increased from 570 in 1997 to 950 in 2007.

1. In May 2008, Jersey police charged Michael Aubin, 45, with alleged offences relating to the former Haut de la Garenne children's home in Jersey.

Mr Aubin, who was born in Jersey but now lives in Southampton, was arrested in the UK by Jersey officers.

He has been charged with one count of sodomy against a male child and three counts of indecent assault against two other male children.

All of the alleged offences took place between 1977 and 1980, police said.The investigators added further charges may follow

2. English solicitors Dyer Burdett & Co (DBC) have set up a legal team to advise former residents of the Haut de la Garenne children's home on Jersey.

DBC is already representing 18 people who were allegedly physically and sexually abused whilst in the care of Portsmouth Corporation during the 1950s and 60s.

3. Cosham's Children's Cottage Homes in Portsmouth, across the water from Jersey, is at the centre of a child abuse scandal.

Two former child residents of Cosham's Children's Cottage Homes claim children were taken from their dormitories during the night and disappeared.

Reg Tugatt, 59, a former resident of Cosham's Children's Cottage Homes says he saw 'suspicious holes dug'.

Reg said he was taken into care at the home in 1956, aged eight, and stayed there for three years.

A spokeswoman for Hampshire Police said: 'We have no plans to dig up any sites in Portsmouth and continue to hold the position that there are no links between allegations made in reference to the Children's Cottage Homes in Cosham and the ongoing investigation in Jersey.'

Les Cummings, 63, is campaigning for an apology from Portsmouth City Council for the abuse he claims to have at the hands of his foster father and at the Children's Cottage Homes.

A total of 21 men and women told detectives they suffered physical and sexual abuse as children at Children's Cottage Homes.

A 78-year-old woman from Devon was arrested on suspicion of indecent assault but when police passed the file to Crown Prosecution Service lawyers they decided there was not enough evidence to charge her.

Les Cummings went to police to ask them to look again at their earlier investigation into the claims of 21 men and women.

The Crown Prosecution Service examined allegations against the centre but decided not to prosecute.

Both Reg and Les claim that a number of children were taken from their dormitories during the night and disappeared.

6. Margaret Hodge (née Margaret Oppenheimer) was linked to the alleged cover up of a pedophile scandal. In 2003, Hodge was appointmented as Minister for Children by Tony Blair.

October 6 1992: The Evening Standard began a series of reports alleging that dozens of children at two Islington council homes were abused.

Hodge accused the Standard of "gutter journalism" and rejected its dossier on paedophile activity in the homes.

October 23 1992Margaret Hodge stepped down as council leader.

Allegations of child abuse at the Islington children's home were borne out by official inquiries.

7. In a number of Leicester children's homes, between 1973 and 1986, various adults were involved in sexual abuse of children. (Uncovering The Past Abuse of Children in Care ).

These were homes run by Frank Beck. At his trial in 1991, Beck was found guilty of 17 counts of physical and sexual abuse.

There was a Police Complaints Authority investigation into why so many of the complaints made to police by children had been ignored.

8. Quarriers Homes, Nazareth House and St Ninians in Scotland - An independent report for the Scottish government found that there has been massive child abuse in Scottish care homes. (Scotland’s shame )

The Herald, 23 November 2007, provides the details (‘These are the voices that need to be heard’) :

"When she was nine - or thereabouts - she (Elizabeth McWilliams) was raped by the man Quarriers called her house father. 'He took his chance,' she said matter-of-factly.

"Some children complained of abuse. That had consequences. 'Boys,' she said. 'Well, they were hung up on door hangers and their penises tied to doorhandles.'"

Quarriers Homes is a Christian community.

Helen Holland was sent to Nazareth House in Kilmarnock, a children's home run by nuns.

At Nazareth House Helen was raped by a priest.

"When she was eight, a nun pulled a hood over her head to help a priest rape her. The sexual abuse went on for three years until, aged 11, she fell pregnant. The same nun kicked her in the stomach until she miscarried."

She was 'beaten to a pulp' by a nun.

At St Ninians: "In 2003 Michael Murphy, 69, formerly known as Brother Benedict, a monk with the de la Salle order, was jailed for two years on ten charges of physical abuse during the 1960s, including torturing pupils with an electric shock device, force-feeding them vomit and whipping them with knotted boot laces."

9. Moira Anderson

11-year-old Moira Anderson was last seen boarding a bus in Coatbridge, near Glasgow, Scotland, in 1957.

She was on her way to the shops to buy a box of chocolates for her mum’s birthday.

According to The Sunday Times (Pressure on police to release paedophile dossier), 23 April 2006, Strathclyde Police have a dossier listing members of a child-abuse ring.

This dossier may identify the people who kidnapped Moira.

The dossier is said to implicate senior public figures, including senior police officers and members of the Crown Office and former Scottish Office.

These public figures are said to have abused children in Strathclyde (the Glasgow area) during the 1950s and 1960s.

The dossier is said to list vehicles and safe houses used in Glasgow, Monklands and Paisley where children were hidden before being taken to sex parties.

Strathclyde police have decided not to release the dossier.

The dossier was written by James Gallogley, a convicted child-abuser who died in Peterhead prison in 1999.

"The six months in solitary was my introduction to Haut de la Garenne. The only contact I had with the outside world in that time was with a member of staff who insisted in supervising my showers and bathroom visits."

Peter Hannaford spent the first 12 years of his life at Haut de la Garenne. He told the Jersey Evening Post: "Boys and girls were abused while I was there. The abuse was anything from rape to torture; it happened every night." - Ex-care resident makes abuse claims

"A VICTIM of the Jersey care home of horror told yesterday how she was drugged, beaten and sexually assaulted by staff as officials turned a blind eye when she begged for help.

"The mother of two – known as Pamela – was given heavy doses of Valium at Haut de la Garenne and sexually assaulted dozens of times between 1973 and 1975.

"She described how children would cower in their beds while staff held drunken parties where they would stumble into the dormitories to select 'weak' children to rape...

"She recalls there having been 'constant' building work in the cellar – where police are focusing their investigation...

There has only been one trial in connection with the 7 July London bombings.

On 1 August 2008, the jury in this trial failed to find the three accused guilty of any crime.

Waheed Ali, 25, Sadeer Saleem, 28, and Mohammed Shakil, 32, all from Leeds, had been accused of helping the alleged 7 July bombers.

All three had spent time in training camps in Pakistan. All three attended the same mosques, gyms and community organisations as Mohammad Sidique Khan, Shehzad Tanweer and Hasib Hussain, the alleged July 7 bombers.

All three said their trip to London had nothing to do with terrorism, but was to allow one of them to visit family and to take in a little tourism.

The prosecution is expected to seek a retrial.

"British police told the Israeli Embassy in London minutes before Thursday's explosions that they had received warnings of possible terror attacks in the city, a senior Israeli official said," Amy Triebel, an AP writer in Jerusalem reported at noon on July 7. But who warned Scotland Yard?

"The Israeli Embassy in London was notified in advance, resulting in Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu remaining in his hotel room," the Israeli press reported. The source of the warning to British police was not revealed. Netanyahu was in London to speak at a conference to promote investment in Israel.

Israeli Army Radio reported on July 8 that Scotland Yard had received intelligence warnings of the attacks shortly before they occurred.

If the London bombing was carried out by a domestic Islamic terror cell, who informed Scotland Yard?

"The multiple, simultaneous explosions that took place today on the London transportation system were the work of perpetrators who had an operational capacity of considerable scope," Efraim Halevi wrote in The Jerusalem Post on July 7.

How did Halevi know that the explosions were simultaneous? The underground bombings were not known to have been simultaneous until British authorities reported their findings on July 9. Until then it was thought that the three subway bombs had gone off at 7:51, 7:56, and 8:17 a.m.
