Is there a plot to put up the price of food, or sell more vaccines or reduce our freedoms?

It was revealed, August 2007, that cattle at a farm in Surrey (above) had foot-and-mouth disease.

If there is a plot, then we might expect to find that:
1. The virus has come from a lab linked in some way to the government.
2. The government has been carrying out a drill just prior to the disease outbreak.
3. Someone is hoping to make lots of money from the crisis.

The Merial lab shares a site with a government lab.

"The government-funded Institute for Animal Health's Pirbright Laboratory, which is studying the disease, is located some six kilometers from the affected farm. A number of sources reported that it hosted an international
drill last month during which live viruses of foot-and-mouth disease were used." -

The organisation suspected of leaking the virus from its Pirbright laboratory has been asked to make up 300,000 doses of vaccine to help fight the disease. -

The previous outbreak of foot and mouth in the UK was in 2001.

In 2001, the UK newspaper The Sunday Express wrote:
'In December 2000, two months before the Foot and Mouth crisis began, a container of foot-and-mouth virus went missing from a laboratory at Porton Down in Wiltshire, which houses the UK government's Secret Weapons Research Establishment.'" -
