Dr. Rubinstein was a world renowned theologian who studied with Paul Tillich at Harvard. Dr. R. was also a leading scholar in the Holocaust. Tyla took every class he offered while she was at FSU – from religion to history. Reminds her a bit of Bill Barr in his clarity of thinking and verbal presentation. Glad to see a ‘Nole here.

I don’t think I ever skipped that class, and I skipped many back in those days. I didn’t even sell the textbook entitled “Approaches to Auschwitz” back to Bill’s Bookstore for some beer money at the end of the semester, I still have that book stashed in a closet for some strange reason.

Thank you. I had not read this lecture before, maybe you knew that.
It will take a lot of pondering to digest as all the relationships one has/had will have to be looked at in a higher and somewhat different light and of the effects of these relationship. This does explain much. Yet even shows how much we have to learn. It gives me comfort to know that once a relationship is established the connections continue on forever. That thought in itself should give light to how persons interact with one another. Then when one considers this on a multiple lifetimes basis. Knowing now that relationships once formed continue likely forever makes me very happy to have met you all.
