Unfortunately, leprosy in the form of coronavirus has returned, and the rich and powerful (see Mike and Doug’s lists) are the ones now exiled, albeit to their rural enclaves (except when they leave to drive rioters and looters to the city). The rich and powerful, like the prototypical madmen, meet in secret societies and clubs because they have deluded themselves into thinking that they are privy to arcane knowledge that has been passed, like living water, through their forebearers’ genetic code.

Worse yet, they conclude that this special knowledge (like the British Queen’s special share) entitle them to make decisions affecting the destiny of mankind. Because of the awakening that is finally taking place in western nations, these madmen are being told that theirs is a fool’s errand. They may be able to usurp wealth, power and some level of knowledge, but they are unable to usurp wisdom and divinity.
