A timeline review concerning Barr:

1. Sessions leaves office November 7, 2018
2. Matthew Whitaker is interim…
3. Trump nominates Barr December 7, 2018
4. Barr assumes office February 14, 2019

Well, what important event happened during Whitaker’s seat-warming stint? George H. W. Bush died, November 30, 2018, and his Trump-attended, note-passing funeral was December 5, 2018 – TWO DAYS before Barr is nominated by Trump! Nothing to see here, right?

So a guy on TruNews claimed that he was told that what went on was that the Bush people basically made a deal with Trump so that if he installed Barr, who would protect the Bush people, that they would leave Trump alone so that he could further his MAGA agenda without any more attempts to hinder him. I fully believed that the guy was told this, and it certainly made sense at the time and still does. If I could, I would find the reference, but alas TruNews has been taken off Youtube. Why Trump would have believed anything that lying family said is beyond me, but here we are.

Barr is the perfect example of a Jesuit-educated, Washington, D.C. insider. He came right up the ranks and ended up as H.W.’s A. G. from November 26, 1991 – January 20, 1993. He is a Bush loyalist, SES swamp rat if there ever was one. I’ve been hoping he might do the right thing since the Bush people obviously didn’t keep their end of the “bargain,” but it’s pretty cleat that he will not ever do the right thing. Of course it’s possible that the Bush people aren’t as powerful as they thought they were, but the end is the same.

Mr. President, you are now free and clear to fire this Pillsbury Doughboy you’ve got working for you! Sooner rather than later would be better!
