The first and foremost thing that pisses me off is the unwillingness to render aid to a fellow citizen. How so you ask?
Obviously there was a fellow human being incapacitated in his vehicle in a drive thru at Wendy’s. Why didn’t anyone render aid to their fellow human being? This situation didn’t have to have the police called in the first place, a Good Samaritan could have stepped in to assess the situation, at which point a myriad of other outcomes could have happened. But no, no one could be bothered to help this individual out. He could have had been having a heart attack or some other ailment that caused his incapacitation where an ambulance were needed or immediate first aid. If black lives really mattered a brother could have assessed the situation parked the man’s car and took him home. No one could be bothered to help, however they were plenty willing to call the police to the scene.
From that point forward the order followers did exactly what their masters have dictated for them to do in this situation. 35 minutes to build their case so they could get their man. When in essence they could have made thousands of other decisions except they were bound by protocols from above that lack any variances. I could go through hundreds of different decisions that could have been made by these police officers, if they had the latitude and experience to make. Clearly he was inebriated, how and why that remains to be determined. Which brings me to the supposed woman who dropped him off in that condition, for all we know she could have set him up for this, spiked his drink, regardless she had no business taking him anywhere in the condition he was in. Dropping him off to collect his vehicle, get burgers or whatever, was wrong and she should carry a large burden for his death.
Then I can make this argument as well, the same claim being made about holding gun manufactures liable for the crimes committed with their weapons one could make against those who profit from the sales of the most deadliest of drugs in the world. Alcohol. We all know who that is of course.

Mr Brooks was not at all combative until force was used upon him, never once did he resist till that point, he was offering a handful of options to just leave the scene and go home, where the police could have assisted, as their were no victims and no harm occurring in this event. This use of force by grabbing his arms and slapping handcuffs aggressively was not necessary at this point, they could have told him he was going downtown to sober up and asked first to get into the patrol car. Protocol again. Resulted in escalation. So what if he were to run off, they had all his information and could have tracked him down.
Let’s look at the piss poor athletic ability of these two officers that could not subdue or even control their victim one of them losing their taser in the confrontation. Why were these officers so easily overcome? Lack of proper training?
So Mr Brooks ran off with a taser he shouldn’t have been able to get to, again why pursue, it’s not a lethal weapon, same holds true they had all his information, send a police car to his residence.
This man and many men die needlessly because of bad decisions, bad policies, and the unnecessary use of force, that the State dictates to be adhered to. Young unwise, unqualified men put into uniforms to carry out policy. Just because it was legal or justified doesn’t make it right and the sooner we start addressing these problems that are happening on a daily basis the sooner we stop killing people needlessly.
