Here, though, there is an unexpected twist: the shooter is a woman.
This blinds us, initially, to nature of the event that is transpiring.

We at first assume that a large man is assailing a small woman at a filling station, and that she legitimately defends herself in response. Perhaps he wants to steal her handbag, we think, and she shoots him to protect herself.

When we look closer, we recognize from the demeanor of the parties involved that this is not a robbery, but two people engaged in a quarrel.

Assuming that the woman holds a concealed carry permit, which is brutally difficult to obtain in Maryland and without which she could not legally have kept a handgun on her person or readily accessible in her vehicle, the fact that she discharged a firearm in the direction of explosively flammable materials and potentially also innocent bystanders leads us to ponder the quality of her firearms training. That she had been entirely free to drive away before using her firearm, and that she (apparently) fled the scene after discharging it, speak of attempted murder, not of self-defense.

Moreover, by discharging a firearm within the small, enclosed volume of her automobile, unless she was using subsonic .22 calibre ammunition and/or a silencer, she almost certainly inflicted permanent hearing damage upon all present inside the vehicle.

The present video seems a textbook illustration, not of legitimate self-defense, but of a stupid shooting. A useful study for AIM readers.

I know how difficult the past few months have been. Your unwavering support during this time has not gone unnoticed.

I am writing to you now, not to ask for a contribution, but to ask for your help.

We are all in this together, and while I know there has been some confusion surrounding the usage of face masks, I think it’s something we should all try to do when we are not able to be socially distanced from others.

I don’t love wearing them either. Masks may be good, they may be just okay, or they may be great. They can possibly help us get back to our American way of life that so many of us rightfully cherished before we were so terribly impacted by the China Virus.

My feeling is, we have nothing to lose, and possibly everything to gain, including the next chapter to our country, and to keep things open whether it be schools or businesses.

I recently tweeted that many view wearing a mask as a patriotic act, and there is no one more patriotic than me and you. Why not give it a shot!

At this juncture where science and rational thinking is being completely ignored and as this Mask idiocy and scamdemic solution continues to ravage the lives of myself, my family, and many more of us around the planet, I am done with it and all the government and politics surrounding it including POTUS.
Sitting beside my partner last night holding back her tears, desperately pleading for her daughter to examine the evidence of this masking psyop and where it is leading, her daughter basically told her since we were anti maskers, we are no longer welcome in their household. Her daughter birthed her first child in May, my partner’s first Grandchild, which is now off limits to her.
As some of you are aware from previous posts, we are in economic limbo as my partner is allergic to the polypropylene contained in these medical grade masks she is forced to wear at work. As well as her asthmatic condition, she cannot wear a mask even if so she were inclined to do so. Which she is not.
Writing this now, I am physically in the eye of this hurricane, Isaias, that is mild compared to the mental hurricane brewing inside me. At this time, this must be said.
