I have learned through Parahamsa Yogananda (1893-1952) that if you meet someone, you immediately connect with that’s someone you have befriended in earlier reincarnations.

His Biography of a Yogi written in Engels by him is a spiritual treasure. It is just out of this world, you will not find another book like this, period!! I did not realize when I read this book, that it was so popular. The late Steve Jobs re-read it every year. And supposedly copy’s were given at his funeral to the mourners.

If interested please make sure you get the original edition the way he wrote it without any interference by his Self-Realization Fellowship schools he founded in 1920.

Oh well… I was thinking about using their curriculum but ended up creating my own curriculum based on research, tailored to my children’s needs (Waldorf-inspired!). I’m kind of glad I did, because as a homeschooler I value independent thinking and freedom. I reserve the right to adapt to the situation at hand rather than fork over hundreds of dollars to a company that dictates what I teach day to day. And how infuriating would it be to discover halfway through the curriculum that your values don’t align!
