I take issue with the 7 Dwarfs coming from the forest, as if the forest were the source of most malevolence.
It appears more likely that the SWAMP occurs in cities and that these bastions of power are where the Dwarfs have been compromised and changed from protectors of the rights of little people to those who do the work of outside interests. The Bidens immediately come to mind. Both Joe and Hunter and probably the rest of the family would be lost in the woods and starve with their ill gotten gains.
