I think that is a clip from the old UK TV series The Prisoner...it shows one of the characters called number 2. Of course, there are direct overlaps between the two (Matrix/Prisoner)...The Prisoner set in an 'isolated Village' and one that is under constant surveillance and monitoring etc...an idyllic village that is actually a prison and whereby the main protagonist constantly tries to escape. There are the allegorical aspects to consider too, as well as the concept of 'identity'. The Prisoner has been quite a large influence on a number of filmakers, tv shows & artists...JJ Abrams Lost, The Truman Show, Twin Peaks, Dr Who, Iron Maiden etc etc.

In the Bronze Age generally the principal deity was Cronus-Saturn, the Baal of the OT, who was worshipped by Chaldeans, Phoenicians, Hebrews, Edomites, Greeks, Egyptians and Britons under one name or another. He represented the Sun, and although he was conceived as the donor of life also he was a deity who when displeased slew with his thunderbolts and required to be propitiated in various ways, mainly by human sacrifice. Saturn was the principle deity during the days of Enoch...pre the OT Flood and was a 'sun god'. In the period of the Flood there was no such character as the Devil, for the deity was Cronus-Saturn, who became subsequently the Evil One, Set or Satan, or Typhon.

In the above book reference Beaumont also claims that the megalithic Avebury was a site dedicated to Cronos-Saturn and that Hermes/Thoth/Mercury was the living god...yes living! Saturn...would eventually be replaced by the worship of Apollo. When reforms were instituted and Saturn was discarded, with Apollo supreme, and when the Sothic Cycle was introduced, the importance of Sirius must have been fully recognized by the astronomers and savants...the significance of Sirius came to be recognized and that the star became elevated to the position of Sun of Suns.

Hi....an interesting comment, thanks. Have you read any Comyns Beaumont and his research on 'the red headed race'? His books are very hard to come by and in particular the following two are at least worth tracking down...'The Prehistoric Riddle of Britain' and also 'Britain: The Key to World History'. Beaumont covers the same sort of ground as Waddell and cites his work in places, he also cites Atlantis in the pre-flood epoch etc. There is plenty of detail about the Phoenicians as accomplished ship builders, Vikings too...superior maritime nations seemingly holding plenty of sway in the ancient past. Thing is...Beaumont wrote this sort of stuff in the 1930's and 40's...way ahead of his time and way ahead of Velikovsky, who clearly plaigerised some of his work.

Re: rainbows...I did a shed load of stuff on that in the earlier Spielberg/Lucas/Zemeckis/Donner post.

thanks for that link for the book about Phoenician origins. it fits well into some research i've been doing about the Red Head Gene... they have it singled down to one gene on the 16th chromozome...it was discovered in the mid to late 90's... there is one single gene responsible for red heads... look up this "Paracas Red Head Elongated Skulls" then look up Phaoraoh Ramesses II had raid hair proven in microscopic analysis... those Pheonicians/Canaanites.. I've never seen a Harry Potter film, I haven't seen the Lion King and I still haven't watched Inception, even though I've had it at home for 2 years (it was a gift)! I don't want to get your hopes up too much...so I've just been honest and stated the truth. Anyway...with that said, I do appreciate you taking the time to comment and your words of encouragement...they really do help. McCoy (bones) from Star Trek was in Night of the Lepus (which synchronistically was shot in Arizona)....when Cleese (Tim/Holy Grail) yells look at all the 'bones' (around the rabbit) I tend to think of DeForest Kelly (McCoy/bones)...lol.
