I seem to have trouble responding to this blog post. The first response was cancelled out because my network decided to bounce as I was publishing it. The second just disappeared as I was typing it. All very woo woo, if you ask me. Bring it on.

Anyhow, what I was responding to with was this: as a result of reading this post, yeah, sorry it took longer to read it than for you to publish it, I hope that is a sign that I actually have a life apart from my laptop from time to time. I digress... as a result of reading this blog post I decided to watch TP season three again and noticed that Dr Jacoby has lightning bolts on his cravat/tie while doing his speech on web radio on episode 5. Not sure if that means anything.

Like you, I also need to find a more ecologically matching place for me to live, so I do hope you found a good place.

It is difficult to find others who don't just respond with: oh that's bullshit conspiracy theory, if I try to share any of this information, even with the so-called critical thinkers group I attend in the vain hope of actually finding critical thinkers. However, when I was in New York some years ago, I tentatively sent out feelers about their beliefs on 9/11 being an inside job, and actually, I could understand that they did not want to entertain the idea. To fully realise that the world they live in is so unstable, that the people they trust can and do turn on them is not a comfortable sensation to live with. Not that I condone the ignorance, but I have a lot of experience trying to share with the same coddled Americans that Living in the New South Africa, that was brought about by the need of the USA to get access to our gold, as I just found out, is anything but a happy rainbow nation. I would like to buy a property out in the country but am crippled in action because our new president is being pushed to make property appropriation without compensation a law. Land grabs, in other words. Our crime rate in this country, and unfortunately I have been in the firing line myself too many times, makes freedom of movement here a luxury. I cannot live in ignorance of that here. So sorry for you in the US that can't handle that the government is not for the people. Governments generally are not, they are the tools of the managing elite.

I have been in the tinnitus community for a while now and I have experience what you are going though with tinnitus , I do know people that have got
tinnitus from having their implants done. Ringing in the ear after an implant can go away on its own, but that is BS of what the mouth and jaw specialist said. I have definitely seen and heard of a connection between tinnitus and teeth and mouth. There is a treatment for ringing ears and if you are
interested you can contact Dr William herbal remedies that what I take that stop the ringing in my ear that was really driving me crazy, don't Lose hope .,I have found a solution for my fellow citizens . If you haven't I would suggest trying Dr William herbal supplement. Again, this is a thing that takes time and usually requires time and patience for it to work WITH no side effects. Even though I can view The Air is on Fire online, I know nothing beats the experience of the physical copies when it comes to art and music like that. A sound investment you got there.

What's interesting to me right now is the cans at the convenience store most likely being made of tin, maybe even hailing from the same Cornish mine as the copper used to make the Lincoln cent. Tin is the planet metal for Jupiter, the god with the most power over electricity, so that works. I wonder if there is a connection to the Chalfont trailer at the old Fat Trout Trailer Park, because those types of trailers are sometimes referred to as "tin cans." Bowie has a tin can he's sitting in in "Space Oddity," as opposed to, say, a tin kettle. :) Or that band he fronted for, Tin Machine. And tin man Tin Woodman, from one of David Lynch's favorite stories, was once upon a time a woodsman named Nick.

I've got that on a vinyl LP - The Air is on Fire. I also have The Air is on Fire (hardcover art book) with the CDRs too. It was all originally from a 2007 art exhibition in Paris, and in association with Cartier. These books go for stupid money now, but I got mine new and very cheap (circa 2011).

Will get back to you. Loads of interesting stuff. And that's the "key" for me - is it interesting. :)

The latest work is progressing so cool. What a treat watching it unfold.
Y'know, up until now, I really hadn't thought about how the woodsmen descended from the air, went on the air, and told listening ears to descend. And now having freshly discovered a program I truly adore while researching everything Lynch - another by David and Mark called "On The Air" - I also find out that that slow 30's room music heard in Season 3 episode 8 was first used for a 2007 soundtrack Lynch put out called "The Air is on Fire." On The Air takes place in 1957, and a few Twin Peaks faces can be seen, plus it's got some beautiful music by Angelo, and it is totally safe for kids.

Some other worthwhile things from TP s.3 ep.8 I'm glad fans picked up on:

There are a few thoughts I have, essentially along the same lines. That Quatermass connection is a real promising one. All the "Old Scratch" stuff resonates loud and clear, especially when the name corresponds to "Old Nick," and a nick is a scratch. :) After having rummaged through the internet looking for any proof to back up Carpenter's claim that Nigel Kneale was inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, what I can say for sure is that Kneale definitely took inspiration from H.G. Wells, who coined the term "atomic bomb."

I consulted with the team over a pot of siphon brew, and what we decided on the scrat thing pictured on the Ace of Spades card Mr. C carries around, is that it is a "ant bunny jester shadow." That's the best we could agree on. The ant part is the most obvious I think. The bunny I'm allowing because of rabbit ears antenna. The jester because it sort of looks like the dangling "ass ears" of the cap. Also, a jester would make it a type of Joker card, a kind of ace AND final card, like the classic tarot. The shadow because of the Jungian thing.

Another thing the image somewhat indicates is a floating Cooper, when he finds himself in the glass box. It should be noted here that Cooper was designated the King of Spades by Windom Earle.

Bingers...that Ace of Spades and "ant-like head" could have relevance. I'm potentially seeing the close of "Quatermass and the Pit" in the Peaks ending scheme - at least in one aspect. A kind of overlap involving the extinguishing of (electrically charged) evil. In Quatermass it's an ant-like, but demonic/devilish entity that looms over the buildings (at the end). One that eventually gets magnified via the electric "CENTRAL Line" tube station (Hobbs End) and TV broadcasting equipment. The evil entity is "shorted-out" by crashing an iron tower (via water, wet earth).

Peaks has the imposing electrical pylons, the ant-like Ace, a severely "scratched" card - the "mysterious gramophone sound" is the "scratching sound". Perhaps the "scratching sound" is deviously hidden in the visual clue of the card itself. It's potentially the sound of someone scratching the card surface with a pin. We don't see this happen, but we see the result. "Scratch/Old Scratch" - the devil (like Quatermass), the destination is the "evil-centric" Palmer home. The final shot is the "big electrical-short" at the Palmer home. The 708 Palmer home is the electrical centre. The "water" aspect comes from the name "Chalfont" - a water spring/well. This is the water and this is the well. It kind of works for me. Any thoughts? I see a lot of Carpenter overlaps again too.

I wouldn't be surprised if this record/ phonograph business didn't have something to do with a certain gold anodized disc sent out with the Voyager space probe in 1977. Some interesting music choices put on that golden record, like "Dark was The Night"(of the soul) by Blind Willie Johnson, and Chuck Berry's immortal "Johnny B. Goode."
The famous time capsule record plays a part in Carpenter's Starman, and Star Trek: the Motion Picture, as well as an episode of X-Files called "Little Green Men." Ditto to the sentiments regarding Sasha and "Out of Space." There was a time I listened to a lot of him and Digweed, the latter someone I'm not as big on as I used to be. I really liked that original "Chase the Devil" tune before it got overplayed, but pretty much everything out of the Black Ark studio and handled by Lee Perry sounded magical to me.

"Chase the Devil" is featured on a soundtrack for a movie I'd rather not talk about, but it's got aliens, Devil's Tower, Spielberg and Sigourney Weaver, plus the New Mexico desert and Albuquerque, so yeah, it has to be brought up.
