Interesting little connection, thanks...as an aside, Brazil (the neigbouring country) actually has 'Sirius' as one of the stars in its national flag...Re: Aires, gives us aries/ram overlaps too. I wonder if "Holy Mary of the Fair Winds" could translate as "Holy Isis of the Four Winds"? Egyptian mythology...the north wind 'ram/bull', east wind 'hawk'(sun god rises in the east), south wind 'lion' and west wind 'serpent'. Frequently all four winds have the shape or head of a 'ram' (hermes) as an allusion to the word bai (soul breath). Brazil also have the largest statue of Osiris Slain (the cross) in the entire world.

Thanks for the heads up. I can't even go in the sunlight (haven't be able to for about 4-5 years) I literally burn after a few minutes and it is very frustrating indeed...it happens even in spring sunshine!!! I even have problems with 'sweat' causing my skin to blister etc which is a nightmare, because I have to cover-up anyway to avoid the sunlight, which causes me to sweat...arrggghh!!!! The 'sweat' issue has also caused me to limit my exercise routines. I used to be able to tan easily and without burning etc...not anymore! I long to be able to sit in the sunshine without a care in the world...now I'm more likely to hide from it, the pain and discomfort are too much to bear!

Your 'atlas' reference has been quite a revelation and one that I hadn't thought about (I've done the spine, but not individual vertebrae), until you suggested it. I have since updated to include it in the Contact part of the post...many thanks. Of major interest is that 'the atlas' vertebrae is the one that connects to the head. I noticed in Platoon (gun/wormhole etc) that Chris(t) after inhalng...does say "I've got no pain in my neck anymore"...which is surely another veiled reference! It may well be the 'location' where NEO (matrix) has his 'hole' on the back of his head, just above the neck.

At the climax of Dune the camera moves onto Paul's right eye (sun) and then left eye (moon)...the camera zooms into his left eye (moon) and then as a result Paul magically creates rain...the moon & water connection doesn't need an explanation, we're all aware of its effects on the waters of the oceans etc.

Ah yes...The 'winged' Beatle Macca...his "Live (Tarot) And Let Die" 007 piece...connects to Yaphet 'Alien mouth-opener' Kotto (he forces the spoon/peseshkaf spoon blade into Kane's mouth, wink) who played Mr Big/Kananga, in the film of the same name...there was also a croc-ammit motif and a big 'soul' motif 'Fillet of Soul' and a big heart reference via the lovers (gemini), serpent via snakes etc etc. Thanks for the comment and link.

yeah the matrix thing goes along with the metal references too. captured that metallic taste you get in your mouth and the head cocking back mouth open upon awakening. plus the looking into the mirror thing. I always loved the god reaching out to adam through the third eye. The shining maze always looked like those classic cross mandala's, other versions are more like chrysanthemum's, which is the opening you break through to activate ego death and the seemingly infinite afterlife people talk about with DMT.
