Thanks for the response, appreciate it...and thanks for the heads-up re: Tommy, I will have to check it out...the last time I saw that, I was a teenager!!! I've only seen American Beauty once (about 10 years ago), so I'll have to give that a look over too! Just from reading a few blurb pieces about tommy...I can already see that you're right about it being loaded with mystery religion and rosicrucian symbolism.

Epick post. So at the end of American Beauty a special thanks is given to Dr Bill and Alice and Pete Townsend. So Dr Bill and Alice is obviously a nod to Eyes Wide Shut, and Alice's daughter is named Helena while that is the name of Alice's teacher in Alice in Wonderland where Alice paints the Roses Red for the Queen of Hearts. Bill is the name of the Lizard suggesting the Pineal Gland. It should be emphasized that it is Bill the lizard that uses the ladder. Now Pete Townsend of The Who did Tommy, a film absolutely LOADED w/ Rosicrucian symbolism.
