The John Carpenter movie connections are all perfectly documented and organized, I'm sure any fan would agree. If the connective trend plays on throughout the remainder of the year like this, October might truly be the month to look out for any surprises.
Currently, the media-infused world seems to be paralleling Escape from L.A. and the Village of the Damned remake, in that it's nothing more than a bunch of dispassionate rehash to meet contractual agreements. What’s funny about the US twenty-dollar bill is how valuable it has been in preconditioning people for this century’s crimes against humanity. It bears the most convincing of the fold-in tricks for those unfamiliar with the program, the struck towers being easily recognizable to the uninitiated; plus the fact that the scheme is revealed on a paper $20 (9+11) plane. Cline's Armada is slated for a movie release which is probably pushed back for a year or two at this point. This book too borrows heavily from other works and is especially derivative of The Last Starfighter (1985) and Contact (1997) for plot points. I mention this as NASA has recently been interested in Jupiter's moon Europa recently which has obvious links to 2001:ASO, 2010: Odyssey Two and even the third book (not as movie as yet as far as I know) 2061: Odyssey Three. NASA seems to think life is possible there. I believe this resonates with their possible plans for an eventual alien invasion psyop. Possibly by 2025 the date given in They Live. (Create a pandemic, get the population to turn away from their religions because God turned their back on them, this with the help of science and forced vaccinations to help dumb us down further and we'll believe anything (as if this isn't already the case) if you ask me.) But I digress.

Wil Wheaton is narrator of both novels in audiobook form (and is even a character within RPO as Vice-President of the Oasis user council) if you can't stomach the books (though some can't stomach Wil). He even has an asteroid named after him so he's obviously in the club too.

My last point is to do with the title of Blade Runner. The original book title was of course Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? The title was borrowed (purchased) from an unrelated 1974 novel by Alan E. Nourse title 'The Bladerunner' (one word). Since we are in the middle of global outbreak I think it appropriate to quote the plot from Wikipedia here:

"The novel's protagonist is Billy Gimp, a man with a club foot who runs "blades" for Doc (Doctor John Long) as part of an illegal black market for medical services. The setting is a society where free, comprehensive medical treatment is available for anyone so long as they qualify for treatment under the Eugenics Laws. Have you dug much into futurist writer Ernest Cline? To me he is meant to be a modern day Arthur C. Clarke, Ray Bradbury or George Orwell, not necessarily in quality of writing but in his responsibility to bridge the gap between now and our 'inevitable' future. He sets out to put it in our collective consciousness how things will be thus making it easier for us to accept once we get there (if that makes sense, predictive programming). In the Ready Player One future he depicts the world in absolute ruins with civilization escaping reality into the VR world called 'The Oasis'. It is set in the 2040s in a nostalgia-based world which is centered around the 1980s much like the real 2010s were similarly based (30 year intervals).

Ernest Cline wrote the novel and co-wrote the screenplay for the aforementioned 'Ready Player One', which wound up getting directed by none other than your favorite Steven Spielberg. His only other novel so far is 'Armada'. Strangely before his first novel was even released there was a bidding war for its publishing rights. It goes to show he was in the club before becoming famous.

I bring him up mostly to point out another connection between the films the Shining and Blade Runner. You have written previously about Joe Turkel appearing in both movies and their various connections. Did you know that the second key/gate in the RPO novel was Blade Runner based but in the movie Spielberg changed it into a challenge about the Shining? This further links the two films together in a not-so-obvious way. Of course the RPO novel and movie can be used to connect tons of films together.

Also of interest is how the Shining and BR originally came out two years apart as did their recent sequels Blade Runner 2049 and Doctor Sleep with RPO released right in between (in 2018).

There has been talk since last year of replacing Jackson on the $20 with Harriet Tubman, to further incense the crowds with the rigged context. I'm curious what would happen to "Amazing Grace" if the change of heart John Newton had towards the end of his life was no longer considered satisfactory by the mental mob.
