Having seen the outside description and dimensions of the New Jerusalem in the previous chapter (chapter 21) of the previous posting in this Revelation series, we shall now take a look at chapter 22 as we have arrived at the last chapter and thus, the last installment of this Revelation study series. We shall now enter the city for a brief view of the spectacular eternal abode of the saints i.e. those who have personally received Christ. Not those who tried to live a righteous life on their own, expecting that God would look at their good deeds and weigh them against their bad deeds and “hope” that the good will outweigh the bad and be allowed entrance to the Heavenly city. But only those who fully trusted in, and personally received Christ for the full pardon of sins past, present and future and nothing else. The first stop on our tour is at the river of life.
