ENCROACHING DARKNESS: THE PHILADELPHIAN THREAT AND THE EXODUS PROMISE

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, … I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth” (Revelation 3:7,10).

On Thursday night, September 1, 2022, President “Joseph” Biden was propped up behind the presidential seal in front of historic Independence Hall and gave the most bombastic, provocative, melodramatic and divisive speech that many may feel tempted to compare with Hitler. Personally, I did not watch it as I cannot stand the sight or sound of the man (much like Barack Obama). Or most any of them for that matter. But these two especially (how’s that for honesty). But for the sake of what God is doing in the earth and the incredible signs of warning that He is sending out to not only the born again Church globally, but also the lost world at large, this speech and the bigger picture of what it represents combined with its location begins to take on a life of its own prophetically speaking. It makes those whose spiritual ears are attuned and spiritual eyes affixed look at this event and recognize it for what it is – a God-given sign of what is shortly to come.

According to World Book Encyclopedia, wars are almost always fought over economic issues. Whatever the reasons given for war, the underlying cause is almost always money. “The causes of war may be selfish, base or even wicked, but the reasons stated are usually lofty and noble” (World Book, Vol. 21, p.22). Politicians may offer great speeches that engender patriotism for family and country, but the public will seldom be told the real causes for war.

In exploring and examining the book of John, it becomes critical to first establish Christ’s deity and the demonstration that he was God manifest in the physical realm as the Son of God. This fundamental understanding lays out a proper foundation for the study and further insight of the continuing hidden treasures seen in the rest of the book of John. Now, we continue on with the peculiar mention of the six stone water pots in chapter 2 – a cryptic prophecy that points us directly to the concept of six millennial days – or six one-thousand year periods of human history that will ultimately culminate in the Rapture event, Tribulation Period and the establishment of the much anticipated seventh millennium of Paradise on Earth.

If you are concerned about rightly dividing the word of God, then you are involved with a subject biblical scholars call hermeneutics. According to Dr. A. Berkley Mickelsen, hermeneutics “designates both the science and art of interpretation. The Greek verb hermeneuo means ‘to interpret or explain.’ The Greek noun hermeneia means ‘interpretation.’ In both the Greek counterpart and the contemporary technical term, interpretation has to do with meaning” (A.B. Mickelsen, Interpreting the Bible, page 3).

We are finally here. The much anticipated year of 2022 has finally arrived. It is the year that, in careful biblical study and observation among Bible scholars, exhibits much prophetic promise in the way of anticipating Jesus’ return in the clouds to rapture home those who have personally received him before the first seal judgment of the Tribulation strikes the earth. Regardless of whether or not it happens this year, we will continue to watch and observe the signs that present to us the very strong possibility of not only this year (2022) being the year that kicks off the events that the biblical prophets warned us about long ago, but also for the coming next few years that shall, in due time, show as much promise as this year is currently showing should we still be here. But make no mistake, the signs that are emerging are plenty and getting more obvious by the day that there is not much time left. So, with that said, let’s now dig in and see what we find on our watching journey.

BREAKING PROPHECY ALERT: SPIRIT OF THE BEAST RISING – “PEACE AND SECURITY” BEAST STATUE APPEARS OUTSIDE OF U.N. HEADQUARTERS

In two previous postings in our ongoing study of the book of Revelation (here and here), it was concluded that the case has been quite sufficiently made that the United Nations will be closely connected to the beast of Revelation 13 first seen in Daniel 7. It has now been brought to everyone’s attention that a statue of a beast that exactly mimics the imagery seen in Revelation 13 and Daniel 7 describing a demonically-fueled world government system in Revelation 17 & 18, has been erected in front of the United Nations building in Manhattan, New York City. The statue is a fusion of a jaguar and an eagle.

THE FALL OF MYSTERY BABYLON (צ)

In the previous chapter of Revelation discussed in the previous post, the identity of a mysterious woman riding a beast that had seven heads and ten horns was examined. It was determined that the creator of the beast was Satan, as seen by its scarlet color. It’s leopard-like features take us back to Nimrod, the builder of Babel’s infamous Tower. Nimrod’s name means “the rebellious leopard.”

“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication” (Revelation 17:1-2).

In Revelation 17, one of the seven angels directs the Apostle John’s attention toward the world’s historic spiritually illicit love affair with a demonic and diabolical harlot named “Babylon.” We learn about this woman, her harlotry and the beast with it’s seven heads and ten horns. Why does the woman ride the beast? And why does the beast destroy the woman? These are the subjects that beckon us to explore the mystery.

THE RISE OF WORLD GOVERNMENT 2

In the previous installment on Revelation 13, the dreadful “beast out of the sea” was discussed. It is a vast subject. The discussion thus far has only covered the first two verses of the chapter, along with several other biblical references. The focus has been to paint the beast as the ultimate fulfillment of the “times of the gentiles” that began with Nebuchadnezzar. It represents Gentile domination over Jerusalem. In its final stages, it represents the man’s, and more specifically, the ruling elite’s dream of utopia – a world government that stands in defiance of God. All nations will be coerced into relinquishing national sovereignty and submitting to a global government.
