Mary Kelly Godley ''My son had terrible bowel problems and was diagnosed with autism, for a log time I was told his bowel troubles were due to his limited diet because of his autism. He started lashing out at us and injuring himself again I was told this was for no apparent reason other than his autism. I started too doubt that as to me these behaviors always coincided with severe episodes of foul smelling acidic diorrhea, I did the research and took Adam abroad for medical tests. He had Inflammatory Bowel Disease and the reason that was kept from me was because when the gut biopsies of these children with autism and this bowel disease are studied the vaccine strain of the measles virus is often found in their gut i.e. that is the most probable cause of the bowel inflammation and these children also usually have autism.''
