Quotes
When Pope John Paul II visited the Western Wall in 2000 he apparently
was permitted to wear a cross. However, he also did something unusual during his
visit. When Pope John Paul II visited Israel, he depicted a large cross on his
ceremonial throne. The cross was different than the usual cross. It was
upside-down. An upside-down cross is typically a symbol of the rejection of
Christ and a mockery of his crucifixion. You can be sure that the Jews approved
of the upside-down cross, because they understood it is a symbol used to mock
Christ. Just as Judas, the mystery of iniquity, pretended to be a loyal follower
of Jesus as he worked to betray him (Luke 22:47-48), so the pope, who is also
the mystery of iniquity pretends to be a loyal follower of Jesus and is
betraying his subjects into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:10, 15. The
antichrist is the very opposite of Jesus; Jesus is the mystery of Godliness, who
is faithful and true and will never forsake us. Hebrews 13:5, Revelation 19:11 [2011] Solving the Mystery of Babylon the
Great by Edward Hendrie

Gaga’s robe contains many inverted
crosses. This is extremely significant in symbolic language. The cross is a
symbol of the Christian faith as it represents Jesus Christ’s sacrifice and
resurrection. In Christianity, the inverted cross is known as the “Cross of St.
Peter”, in honor of Simon Peter who requested to be crucified upside down
because he felt unworthy to be put to death in the same matter as Christ.
In non-Christian circles, however, the inversion of the cross represents
the perversion and desecration of what it symbolizes. For this reason, inverted
symbols are found in black magic and satanism.
“In symbolism, an inverted figure always signifies a perverted power (…) Black magic is not a fundamental art; it is the misuse of an art. Therefore it has no symbols of its own. It merely takes the emblematic figures of white magic, and by inverting and reversing them signifies that it is left-handed.”
