Palestine Solidarity Campaign UK Nine-year-old Sanabel Al-Tous
was struck by an Israeli settler's car on 1st July in the West Bank. She was
left lying on the ground with multiple fractures. Palestinian children are often
deliberately targeted by settlers in cars, using their vehicles as a weapon.
There are approximately 200 attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinians,
including children, every year.
The UN Human Rights Committee says: "The motivation behind violence and
intimidation against the Palestinians and their properties is to drive the local
populations away from their lands, allowing the settlements to expand.”
