From a time perspective, 76 is equal to 666. Think of it this way- 7 o' clock = 6 hours and 60 minutes + the additional 6 minutes = 6 hours 66 minutes = 666. The gas station Union 76 has as their symbol an orange circle/ ball which is obviously the sun and for years used the motto, "Go with the spirit, the spirit of 76".
