I have had some more recent insight into why the Tower was being built. They were literally trying to make a name for themselves. Building a tower to make a name for themselves. Like the name of Jesus or Y&#39;shua, names are important. Secret names are important. Seeing how they had one language and the same words, and that the Lord God brought the work to an end by multiplying their languages, it seems apparent that if they were to attain their &quot;anti-Shemhamphoresh&quot; composed of perhaps 72 syllables in the former language and words, nothing they wanted to do would have been denied them. I believe they were striving to attain one or more magick words, secret names for themselves collectively or as ordered on hierarchical levels down to the individuals themselves. Thanks for writing about these things. The Tower of Babel was far more than simply a physical structure that was attempting to reach TO the heavens. I believe because of the Nephilm, the DNA of humanity had been changed forever. The DNA now part of humanity was due to the fallen angels mating with human women. Is it possible that this DNA led them to understand that a portal to heaven was available to them if they could simply build a structure that would reach it?<br /><br />Fascinating stuff.
