Another quick thing... Starting in 2011, the Superbowl halftime shows had a theme associated with them. This year's theme was "'Trap''.

Hi Bob,

Perhaps its has already been mentioned elsewhere in you blog, but in Genesis 11, it says that the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were opened (i.e. flood started) in the 600th year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day.

Because of the way it's worded, the second month and seventeenth day isn't necessarily a reference to Noah's age, but could simply be pointing out the day on God's calendar that it occurred.

If that's the case, then the seventeenth day of the second month works to May 17th, 2014 (assuming I am converting the calendars correctly).

Hi Bob,

This day in History... On May 16, 1943, the RAF flew a mission into Germany called Operation Chastise, which was made popular by the movie, The Dam Busters. Barnes Wallis at Vickers Aircraft designed a bomb that when released at low altitude (60 feet), would skip across the water until it hit a dam. A pressure switch would then detonate the bomb as it sank against the dam wall at the required depth.

The mission was a success and as fate would have it, the original plans and calculations for the mission survived until the 1960's, when they got lost in a flood...go figure.

The warning? .... In 2011, Discovery Channel did a scaled down re-enactment of the dam attack. Google ''Ice Pilots Dambusters"
