Obama's Symbolic Gift Exchange with the Pope, a Sign of the Coming Flood?

On March 27, Obama had an audience with Pope Francis at the Vatican. They exchanged gifts in the Vatican Library. The gifts they exchanged were symbolic and I believe this event was an important sign. In this post I'm going to focus on that but will mention at the closing a few other items of interest that have appeared in this special watch season, where an impression of Genesis 6:3's pronouncement has been anticipated. I'm going to begin with pertinent details of the meeting and the gifts exchanged and follow that with my commentary. At the outset I must make note of how two very significant and timely news items were referenced in yesterday's posting in the series focused on The Sign for The Bride, which ALSO FEATURED REPORTS FROM THE VATICAN! This follows observations both Aaron and I made about signs to us personally and individually.

During the President's meeting with the Pope, he mentioned that he heard the Pope has decided to open gardens at the summer residence to the public. Obama gave the him a custom made seed chest featuring a variety of fruit and vegetable seeds used in the White House garden. The chest is made of American leather and reclaimed wood from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Baltimore, MD.

"These I think are carrots," Obama said, holding a pouch. "Each one has a different seed in it. The box is made from timber from the first cathedral to open in the United States in Baltimore." The inscription on the chest reads:

Obama's small gift was a token of another, because Thomas Jefferson's Monticello will donate seeds that will yield several tons of produce to a charity of Pope Francis’ choosing. In return, Pope Francis gave Obama two medallions and a copy of his 2013 writing, Evangelii Gaudium, "The Joy of the Gospel."

The Basilica of the Assumption was designed as a tribute to religious freedom. Pope John Paul II, who visited it in 1995, referred to it as “the worldwide symbol of religious freedom.” The Basilica is recognized as the first Metropolitan Cathedral in the United States. According to the official website (https://www.archbalt.org/about-us/parishes/basilica/), it is “The Mother Church of Roman Catholicism in the United States”. The cornerstone was blessed by John Carroll at the start of construction in 1806, a Jesuit and America's first Bishop. When completed in 1821 it was dedicated by Archbishop Ambrose Marechal. It was designed by Benjamin Latrobe, the architect of the U.S. Capitol.

My commentary:

Adam and Eve wore loin covering of skin when they were driven out from the garden as the first refugees, so the seeds were covered with leather, not unlike the box. A seed Eve carried inside her womb when she was evicted from the garden was the Nachash seed (“your seed” of Genesis 3:14-15) that would produce Cain directly. Eve, the mother of all living (Gen. 3:20), is a secret identity of that leather “covered?” box made of the wood from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, “The Mother Church.” Eve was the first “Blessed Virgin” mother, who conceived Cain (a man from the lord) before she “knew” a man. The reference to “her seed” made in Genesis 3:15 identifies the Savior of man, the only begotten son of God and last Adam (1 Cor. 15:45). The Basilica was named for his mother, whom the Romish church labels, the Blessed Virgin Mary. There's obviously a theme of messianic reproduction and lineage.

The gift box carried the seed from the White House garden, as from Eden. (White and Black together represent the knowledge of good and evil, which is really simple but the Lord actually gave me that insight by revelation so I would have confidence in what He would be showing me through that symbolism. White is the symbol of good, which should surprise no one, so the White House is the Good House.)

Obama took that seed and offered it to the Pope as a reenactment of Cain offering a sacrifice to the Lord.

So it came about in the course of time that Cain brought an offering to the Lord of the fruit of the ground. ~ Genesis 4:3:

The box was made with American leather (ritual blood sacrifice). Cain's offering was not accepted, but in this reenactment, the offering was accepted. There's an important twist.

Obama's garden seed was given to the Pope for the purpose of being planted in the earth to bear fruit after its kind, intended for the Vatican garden. That garden was noted as having been private, being closed off from public access. It's being opened to the public, so there will be no more barring the people of the world from the garden. Think about that model. Seed that came from the White House Garden is reentering a Garden in the seat of God's supposed throne of authority on earth, on his own grounds, where access had long been denied but will soon be granted. There's clearly a messianic mission involved with this Occult ceremonial ritual that brings the age full circle. In this flipped version of Genesis 3:15, it's the serpent's seed that is going to bruise the head of “her seed”!

This seed-box compares to Eve and to the ark of Noah. All three are actually a near match. Obama's gift seems to be most nearly described as an anti-ark. It's a box with seed inside, an elegant symbol of the 8 seed-people and all the seed-animals onboard the ark. This model ark given to the Pope was conveyed over the vast waters that covered the earth by the Presidential envoy, bearing seed on it's way to the Vatican that is intended to be planted in the earth for all the world to enjoy.

The seed came from the White House garden, a symbol of how the ark of Noah's day had seed from the garden of Eden. The ark contained animals that were of both clean and unclean kinds, which is a pattern that witnesses to how there were both clean and unclean people onboard. In Genesis 6:9 we learn that Noah was perfect in his generations, technically, in his genes. It adds that he also walked with God, which makes reference to his character. He was unique in having the uncorrupted seed of Adam through Seth. Noah's wife, sons, and their wives are nowhere suggested to be perfect in their generations. There were eight people onboard including Noah. There were seven pairs of each of the unclean animals onboard. Think about it. Noah was clean and the others were unclean, with contaminated genetics persisted through the flood and repopulate the earth. Eve, like the ark, carried both the unclean and the clean, Cain and Abel, and their siblings. Cain slew Abel, but the seed of Adam was brought through Seth. That heritage was saved intact in Noah, while the mixture of Cain was saved in the other seven with him.

It's not the clean Adamic-through-Seth seed but the unclean Nachash-through-Cain “seed of the serpent” that is the cherished life in this Satanic ceremonial ritual. Obama's gift is the anti-ark traversing the waters of an anti-flood with anti-seed, modeling an undoing of what had been done.

The seed box was made from the timber of The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is a key symbol that identifies a looping connection with respect to the ark of Noah's day. As “The Mother Church,” this large “wooden box” had been seeded by the Jesuits. This represented their official planting in the New World land of the United States of America, the authorization of the sowing of a new crop of Catholic (which means Universal) people. Mystery Babylon, the NWO Global Mother of Harlots System. Because the Basilica is specifically dedicated to and identified with religious freedom, it speaks of the Jesuit seed being refugees, driven out of their former land as from the garden of Eden. They had traveled by wooden boat from their home base, their home church in Rome, like seeds in the ark. Now, wood from the official Mother Church has returned to the Vatican City, returning home to Rome with official seeds from their earlier planting. Full circle.

The Presidential gifting reenactment closes a loop. I believe it demonstrates the full circle connection to the time of the flood of Noah, closing the loop with sympathetic magick. This speaks loudly to me as a sign, coming when a projection based upon Psalm 90:4 links our time with the declaration made in Genesis 6:3, if we peg it as coming 120 years before the flood, or, 1536 years from Adam. And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. ~ Genesis 6:3

That verse declares a change in the limit of the lifespan of mankind, in the context of the coming flood. This transition would involve a purge and repopulation, and the impact that had on the Nachash heritage is still a real sore spot with them. The spiritual war being waged is an epic grudge match. The modeling of the ark done by Obama and Pope Francis is a magickal ritual and a sign.

We link the declaration to the flood that would follow, and just like that, Obama's little gift was a token, an object statement bearing witness to the nature of what would follow. This small gift of the packets of seed in a box was a token of a larger gift, Monticello's more substantial donation of a large quantity of seed that would later be delivered to some charity of the Pope's naming. Their seed is heritage seed. Given the timing and symbolism, I suspect this gift was a token of another more substantial gift, the ancient seed or DNA sample or code of the same related to the Antichrist beast host and incarnation.

The Pope and the Vatican and the White House and a National Shrine - these are all sun god cult entities, so we're really looking at the counterfeit messianic reproductive scheme that began with Cain and that is most frequently referenced in the language of ancient Egypt, with Osiris resurrecting into Horus through the magick of Isis. It is the scheme that has been advanced by fallen angels in the days of Noah and now, full circle, in the days of the coming of the son of man.

Quoting from President Obama has a gift for Pope Francis, “The Pope also presented Obama with two medallions, one of which was a symbol of the need for solidarity and peace between the two hemispheres.” That speaks loudly to me of the Mother Church boxed seed harvest returning home, closing the loop.

Quoting from Obama Gives Pope Vegetable Seeds, Francis Gives Obama Writings on Morality, “it [the Evaneglii Gaudium] contains strong condemnations of abortion as well as asking the faithful to care for the poor.” Pope's gift addresses the killing of children, heritage seed.

Quoting from Obama's gift to Pope Francis: A seed chest, “The private meeting was widely expected to be cordial -- while providing Francis with an opportunity to raise some prickly issues. The Vatican opposes the Affordable Care Act mandate that Catholic hospitals and institutions provide health plans that cover contraceptive drugs and abortifacients such as morning-after pills, which the church opposes on moral grounds.” Again, there's the highlighting of the importance of the heritage seed. Obama's business meeting was actually conducted with Vatican Secretary of State Pietro Parolin, not the Pope. Another quote from the same theusatoday.com article reads, “The statement [a brief from the Vatican on the meeting] also included a mutual commitment to ending human trafficking.” Isn't Obama's trading his seed in a box as an ceremonial ark for two medallions and a book a form of human trafficking?

One source reported that, “A gift from Francis fell over, making a loud crash and frustrating Vatican officials that finally shrugged it off.” There's a sign. We'll see what comes of all this business.

In one of the articles about the meeting I read that “Obama invited Francis to visit the U.S. next year.” - That's 2015, 7 years from Pope Benedict's key prophetic trip in 2008, when he joined with Bill Clinton in a timely modeling of the revealing of the lawless one.

Now, other interesting items have been noted in this watch season relative to the pre-flood proclamation of Genesis 6:3 and the most probably target date projection of 4/2/14.
On that day, Bill Clinton was on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Wednesday night - Alien disclosure was the subject. (source) That seems to be a bit of a look further ahead to the revealing of the lawless one in 2015.

"Oh, you're trying to give me a hint that there are aliens!" Kimmel exclaimed."No, I'm trying to tell you I don't know," Mr. Clinton insisted. "But if we were visited some day, I wouldn't be surprised. I just hope that it's not like 'Independence Day,' the movie -- that it's, you know, a conflict." Of course the controversial movie titled “Noah” was just released at the theaters, and is continuing to be making waves, metaphorically speaking. That certainly has to be seen as timely and significant.

Another major item is the tsunami generated by the huge earthquake off the coast of Chile on the evening of April 1st. A tsunami is of course a wall of water that causes a flood. What's incredible is that only 5 deaths have been attributed to the event - miraculous? One of the big concerns reported is that about 300 inmates escaped from a women's prison in the city of Iquique. With regard to the fact that the flood of Noah's day resulted in the spirits of the dead offspring of the fallen watchers being imprisoned, that's very interesting. They are soon to be released in resurrection, which the number 3 signifies, and this is for the purpose of bringing judgment, retribution, revenge and payback.

Today, University of Leicester physics students says Noah’s Ark would have floated with two each of 35,000 species of animal.

The Sign for the Bride - A Sixth Installment of the Revision

As before, this installment continues from the previous one. I'm still updating one of the core studies on theopenscroll.com. What kind of spirit-message-letter-supposed-to-have-come-from-us could possibly be so convincing? The simple answer is, one that has a spell on it, even what kind of deluding influence will come from the sovereign God Himself. The description of the manner of transmitting the lie is given in the text as, mede throeisthai mete dia pneumatos mete dia logou mete di’ epistoles, which the Interlinear renders, “nor to be troubled neither by spirit nor by word nor by letter as if by us.” There are three components that I believe may be understand as three facets of the delivery of the lie appointed for the near future.

It's going to have a logou, word, or message, which we know is to the effect that the day of the Lord has come - and gone, by implication. It's going to involve documentation that carries the weight of highest authority of the church, even of the early Apostles, which means it will be fully authorized as biblical canon. Together with the first component, spirit, it's a triple whammy, if you will. The potent combination will overwhelm any resistance to the message and result in a mass epiphany. With full conviction, even the leaders of the church, from the middle of the road out to the bike lane and to the outer edge of the shoulder, will confess that the day of the Lord has come. The proof will be impossible to deny, the evidence, bulletproof. Well, almost. That's why we have a sign! While nearly all the saints will have whatever faith they may have had destroyed, and turn to receive the savior waiting in the wings along with the rest of the global population, some will be immune to the delusion, prepared in advance for that day and for a critical mission. The countermeasures for this deceptive assault are provided for us, but we have largely dismissed them, as encouraged and led by church authorities. I will address those at length. That's one of the primary objectives of this lengthy exercise in preparation for the final Bride work appointed for this season in these bodies of flesh.

What the thematic equation adds for our benefit is first an emphasis upon the nature of the deception involved. This will attend the baptism event that reveals the lawless one but it is most directly linked to the lie that will eliminate their resistance to welcoming the impostor as their own savior. Yes, I'm being a little repetitive here, but bear with me. There will be terasin pseudous, which the Interlinear renders as “wonders of falsehood.” In verse 10 we read, pase apate adikias, “every deceit of wickedness,” and verse 11 informs us that energeian planes, “a working of delusion,” is sent by God Himself. Even today, many of us can see this beginning to work, where the entertainments of public ceremonies have such a spell on them. “The mystery of lawlessness is already at work,” according to verse 7 of this passage in 2 Thessalonians 2.

So far as the technical nature of the spirit-message-letter deception goes, I can't really describe it better than I already did in Part 3 - Sochi Winter Olympics 2014 - The Ultimate Hoax, where it was so evidently on proud display. Lies were spouted throughout the ceremony, with professional commentators misrepresenting to us what was really being enacted while using NLP to craft the intended message in a brilliant demonstration of mass mind control. The language of visual symbolism that has become so familiar to me as an exhibit of the Luciferian sorcery behind it was attended by a hypnotic soundtrack that referenced powerful memories with great subtlety. The new technologies involved in that dramatic presentation in the stadium merged the real with a projection that was nearly indistinguishable from the real. That overlay of the virtual upon the real will be further enhanced and extended.

This and other presentations like it are akin to rehearsals for the Opening Day of an epic farce. These should be recognized for what they really are, elaborate workings of sympathetic magick that are practiced according to the way of ancient magicians. What will result from all this effort is going to be the science-magick of an alchemical working, the binding of heaven and earth, the exploitation of control temporarily granted over time-space for the breaching of a boundary layer and interface between heaven and earth. I believe a live-action transmission through time itself will bring forth evidence in such a way that is incomprehensible to us outside the experience of personally receiving insight via divine revelation. This streaming connection may well facilitate interaction through the portal. Yet, it will be fraudulent, contrived to convince the world of a lie. CERN is mostly offline in 2014, and expected to come back online in 2015 with far greater power than before. According to some witnesses, the LHC has produced certain kinds of “special effects” that should not be discounted. I believe new and ancient technologies will all be exploited in this epic multimedia hoax, and with the sovereign God providing the energeian planes, “a working of delusion,” you can be assured that this deception will accomplish everything intended!

Now, the thematic equations inherent in the text of 2 Thessalonians 2 add further benefit by emphasizing the basis for the countermeasures to the deception. I'm going to get to that but I must pause for some current events.

Since my attention and effort began to be been focused on this passage of scripture, two noteworthy reports have come forward from the Vatican. The timing is no coincidence. Since the Papal agent will stand in for John the Baptist at the fraudulent baptism, the Vatican is going to grant its authority. This first report came out a couple weeks ago.

“The Vatican library began a project on Thursday to digitize thousands of historical manuscripts, dating from the origins of the Church to the 20th century, and make them available online. Working with the Japanese technology group NTT Data, the library intends to scan and digitally archive about 1.5 million pages from the library's collection of manuscripts, which comprises some 82,000 items and 41 million pages. The initial project will take four years and may be extended.”

The Apostle Paul entreated us, warning us of “a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.” Who is likely to produce such a document, one that might be quickly authenticated as coming from an apostle of the early church? Is the Vatican setting us up, planning to “discover” such a document while sifting through their vast archive of manuscripts? Do they intend to produce it at some propitious moment in the advancement of some hidden agenda? That seems plausible.

This next report just came out.

“Pope Francis will become the first pontiff seen globally in 3D during the upcoming April 27 ceremony in St. Peter’s Square when two of his predecessors, John Paul II and John XXIII, will be canonised as saints. The unprecedented double canonisation event will be produced in 3D by the Vatican TV Center (CTV) in a partnership with Rupert Murdoch’s Sky Italia, BSkyB and Sky Deutschland payboxes, and Sony. The ceremony will also be beamed into 3D movie theatres across Europe and in North and South America, in what is being touted as the first convergence of HD, 3D and 4K technologies for such a high-profile multimedia 3D event. At a press conference in the Vatican, CTV chief Monignor Dario Vigano said the live transmission will require “more satellites than the Sochi Olympics.” Vigano underlined that the Vatican decided to offer the canonisation ceremony to the world in 3D in order to give people who would want to attend but cannot, for many reasons including economic ones, the chance to get a “fully immersive” experience. The production will use 13 3D cameras positioned in spots that will give a unique and exclusive vantage point of St Peter’s Square. ”

Pope Francis To Usher In Vatican 3D TV Transmission At Unprecedented Canonisation Ceremony (3/31/14)

WOW! Okay. Haven't I been writing about something like this?

The Sochi Olympics are even mentioned in a comparison of the technologies that are beyond earth. I did mention how such a letter or epistle component would have to be fully authorized as biblical canon, right? In Revelation 13, there's a double canonisation in view as 2 beasts arise with authority. Catholics pray to canonised saints.

Ritual pre-enactments must be done as sympathetic magick brings forth the abstract over into tangible physical reality. It's the Adversary's twist on prophetic modeling. From another perspective, dear saints, beans have to be spilled. This is how their game is played. We will not be able to offer excuses of any kind for being duped. “But nobody told me...” The Adversary's way of concealing and revealing is not going to let them off the hook for what they do because there is a judgment and they will be held accountable, and those who are duped into sinning will also meet with judgment. We have been warned of the consequences of sin, and are being told in ways both general and specific - over and over again. Are we listening, and hearing yet? This scenario given to Paul to lay out for our benefit is coming and it's going to be one slick trick.

From the observatories on Mt Graham, Jesuit Vatican astronomers are eagerly and expectantly watching for the approach of something of enormous consequence. Tom Horn has been demonstrating how the Vatican is suggesting in increasingly less obscure ways that ancient visitors are coming to earth from afar, staging a return that will require a significant change in doctrinal interpretation. The Romish church is posturing and positioning itself to appear alongside the returning incarnating king as the inheritors of all authority in the earth. Guess what this is going to look like in the day of disclosure? By now, you should be able to make a pretty well educated guess.

Yet, if you think seeing all this clearly now is going to assure that you're adequately prepared for what's coming, you're still underestimating the potency and scale of the deception. Your optimism is unwarranted. That's not going to be enough. It's just not going to be that easy.

On the Mark 13:37 Watch

Today is the first day of the new year on the Sacred-Harvest cycle. Happy New Moon and Happy Aviv! We are in the season of rare and most difficult accounting of the New Moon, according to the Karaite reports.

On the Mark 13:37 watch, we've reached the point in this present Shemitah that aligns with the 120 day warning that came in advance of the flood, Genesis 6:3. Pertinent signs on a personal level have just been observed, so make note of what you too may receive or perceive in this regard. According to my prospective accounting methods (which you can find here in Part 8 - To Number Our Days Aright - The Coming "Flood"), the method of Psalm 90:4 projecting that is the most difficult seems to be proving out, where the year within which the millennia compresses has Yom Teruah for end points. It is the Lord's calendar and His accounting.

The projection of the flood of Noah into our day is not far away, and there is no reason to think it's going to be subtle when it arrives. If you have given this your attention you may have already noticed something very, eh, interesting about the day of the year the flood began.

11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened. 12 The rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights. 13 On the very same day Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark, 14 they and every beast after its kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth after its kind, and every bird after its kind, all sorts of birds. ~ Genesis 7:11-14

This is worth our attention. The Lord brought this to Aaron's attention not long ago. If memory serves me correctly this is something the Lord brought to me also some time back in my studies.

We have begun the 1st month. Karaites project the next new moon will be sighted on 4/30, and this seems very likely to me. The 1st day of the second month is therefore expected to end at sunset May 1, and the 17th day of the 2nd month is expected to span from sunset to sunset, May 16-17. Now, if you project the 600th year of Noah's life into this Shemitah, using the same Yom Teruah bracketing method mentioned earlier and which I've published on the link given above, the target date is 5/18/14. Take a few minutes to think about that. Longer if necessary.

Compressing the 1 year and 10 day length of the in-ark flood season down on this scale equates to a little over 9 hours, so the entire span of the flood matches to that single day. All the living that were appointed for salvation entered the ark, and exited intact. Is trouble on a major scale coming then, perhaps the Black Awakening, as a counter flood? I wouldn't bet against it. Are some going to be miraculously preserved through it, as then? Again, I wouldn't bet against it.

This projection is not a guessing game and I'm not planning to ride out any trouble on some remote island. My ark is the Lord Y'shua, and either I'm preserved or not when trouble comes. That's plan A, and that's plan B. I don't have a personal preference or stake in all that. Aaron and I are of the same mind. If we survive this season, well, we'll just take it from there. We know the Lord Himself is behind this operation, and we trust that He is good!

If your eyes are opening and you know the fear of God, take comfort and encouragement in that. Seek to be convicted of sin and be brought into humble obedience. In that there is great reward, live or die.

When we read in the opening line of verse 3, “Let no one in any way deceive you,” we want to observe how a notable deception had just been described in verses 1 and 2. The thematic companion to verses 1 and 2 is easily seen to have deception as it's primary theme, too. In a reading of the passage as it is normally read, straight through in sequence, we must connect what's in verses 9-12 with the event of the revealing of the man of lawlessness. That's entirely valid, of course, and we should understand how this signal event we've identified as a fraudulent messianic baptism will be attended by terasin pseudous, which the Interlinear renders as “wonders of falsehood.” Yet, with the benefit of having discovered the Author's link to verses 1 and 2, we should perceive how the nature of the deception described in verses 9-12, which is so evidently supernatural, applies to the disturbing lie about the gathering to the Lord being past that is the subject of Paul's entreaty. One side of the thematic equation sheds light on the other.

What is being conveyed by the divine link is how the same kind of deceiving supernatural dynamic that is associated with the baptism is also at work in the message that threatens to quickly shake the composure of the saints.

Here's the first component, with the more granular structure indicated by highlighting one set of paired elements. The pairing of the second line of verse 1 with the second line of verse 2 speaks to how the entreaty is primarily for those who live in the day of the Lord, during the season of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and that this is when the threat will come.

Here's the matching component, which shares the same pattern of simple alternation.

This insight into the connection between the massive deception that attends the revealing and the threatening report that precedes it is actually a very big deal. If it weren't, it wouldn't be concealed in a code that has to be broken to expose the link, and which has possibly been hidden until now. What it means is that the baptism has a prelude that is equally cloaked. It reveals something of the composite character of the threat.

The impression many saints have is that they are already equipped to identify the lawless one as an impostor when he's revealed. Many, of course, are convinced they will be raptured to make their escape before he can be revealed, so, already subject to delusion, they will be completely unable to resist accepting his false claims. Many have certain elements of the scenario in mind; a short list of potential candidates, some kind of UFO/alien presence and disclosure, a Petrus Romanus to lend it the Vatican's authority, yet, that's not going to suffice. They will fall prey because the Lord has assured it by appointing massive deception for the segue into the revealing. An opening salvo is appointed that will lay waste to their faith in one quick offensive like a spiritual Blitzkrieg. Their front line of hope will be obliterated. They will be found to have no more defense than the rest of the global population against this supernatural onslaught. Then the lawless one will be revealed!

I know who won't be deceived, and I know why. And, I'm going to tell you, but I also know that most of you still won't believe it, until it's too late. We think, never, no way, not us, but so it will be, for most!

The Sign for the Bride - A Fourth Installment of the Revision

A Sign to Refute the Lie

Now, with the subject more clearly in view, what we're being warned about in this passage makes sense. In the overview offered in this study's introduction I wrote that the revealing of the lawless one can be seen as a sign, as a special kind of evidence intended to assure us that the gathering to the Lord, in the Day of the Lord, has not yet happened. While that's the main thrust of the message there's more to it than that. Before we explore further let's make sure we're clear on the main point, which everything else hangs on.

When we read through verses 1-12 of 2 Thessalonians 2 we can see how there's an abundance of what might be considered extraneous information. It's not superfluous, of course. Paul isn't just rambling on in a clumsy attempt to communicate some vague sense of comfort, as demonstrated by the thematic structure that betrays its divine source, but we have to distill from all that what point is being made. The Author has not made it easy for us to discern the truth of it. The essential message can be distilled from the first 3 verses.

1 Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, ~ 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3

Paul is making a request, entreating, beseeching, imploring. His concern is that the saints will be quickly shaken from their composure. The threat is very specific. It involves some report to the effect that the day of the Lord has come, which is to say that it has already past. Why is it so important that the composure of the saints is not quickly shaken? What difference does it make if the saints are disturbed by such a report? Our hope is at stake, our reward! If there is no ingathering to the Lord in our future because this is already past, our hope is for naught and our faith is destroyed. Consider what he had just written in chapter 1.

4 therefore, we ourselves speak proudly of you among the churches of God for your perseverance and faith in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure. 5 This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering. 6 For after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7 and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, 8 dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed—for our testimony to you was believed. ~ 1 Thessalonians 1:4-10

Whew. When you have mopped up your tears and regained your composure (oh, the Lord is so good to us!), consider the value of this hope we have. If you have not already had such a personal revelation about it, try to imagine if there were some demonstration of evidence that convinced you that your hope was unfounded. If you had truly had such a hope you would be completely devastated. Here's what Paul wrote to the Corinthians when he was about to share with them some comforting truth about their hope.

If I fought wild beasts in Ephesus for merely human reasons, what have I gained? If the dead are not raised, `Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.` ~ 1 Corinthians 15:32 (1 Corinthians 15 - Interactive Display of the Symmetry)

What Paul was entreating the Thessalonians about in the focal passage wasn't unwarranted. He wasn't just responding to rumors. Paul's robust description of the threat reveals that it's more substantial than just a rumor. Although rumors with false evidence had probably been circulating in their communities and the faith of some had already been shaken, his entreaty was not just for them, then. It was for every saint where this epistle was read, providing for us, even today, a substantial basis for maintaining a reliable defense that can stand up in the face of convincing lies about the harvest having come and gone, with all hope of just reward.

When saints are confronted with such a lie and there is substantial evidence provided in support of the claim, how can such as that be refuted with confidence? We have been given a sign for just that reason, and either it is so adequately defined and reliably recognizable that even in its absence we can be fully assured of our hope, or Paul's elaborate precautionary entreaty is impotent, feeble and pointless, a swing and a miss. So, which is it? Is the church going to fall into apostasy and then the lawless one will be revealed? Or, is the church going to be raptured then the lawless one will be revealed? Is there substance in any of that to refute anything, or is that not the point of the message? Is there anything in such nonsense but confusion? How absurd. What a ludicrous mess, that doctrine of devils!

The pre-trib rapture theory being promoted by so-called prophecy experts is utter claptrap. What a huge set-up. The other popular theories, mid-, post-, pan-, pre-wrath - all of them are faulty, part-truth and therefore untrue and wholly unreliable. Brethren, what you believe matters. Plenty. Do you have false hope? That's bad. Is your faith based on lies? This is going to be exposed, and your faith will fail.

I'm not making nebulous warnings here. I'm going to give it to you straight from the scriptures, untwisted, with the Lord's help. Some months ago, the Lord began to impress upon me how this message of 2 Thessalonians 2 was most particularly and very specifically intended for a people who will witness the event described as the sign - perhaps you or someone who hears your testimony, because it's now not far distant.

Many claim that this is not the stuff of salvation, but that is another one of the Devil's lies. Folks, we've been set up! If it has been easy to be deceived in this day and hour, just wait another year! When you see what the divinely appointed thematic equation has to reveal about the primary audience for Paul's cryptic message, which has been so incredibly targeted by the ministers of misinformation and disinformation, you'll understand why I've been required to update this study with this insight in this late hour.

16 “Now no one after lighting a lamp covers it over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand, so that those who come in may see the light. 17 For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. 18 So take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him.” ~ Luke 8:16-18

A Sign for the Bride

Now, one of the implications of this very obscure message delivered by Paul is that, at the revealing of the lawless one, that which was promised would not come first will logically follow after that signal event. Once the sign is witnessed, those who recognize it will know that the gathering to the Lord is impending. At least some of them, perhaps all those involved as witnesses in that day, will know that three harvests will come in sequence at their appointed times, and at least some of those saints will understand about their role in the impending Barley Harvest, which I also refer to as the Bride Theft. The baptism and anointing of the Antichrist beast will thus be a sign for the Bride when it happens, who alone will be awake and alert and sober in that day, excepting the 144k sons of Israel and 2 witnesses. The dramatic revealing will indicate the nearness of her Bridegroom's approach. Given how the Body of Christ today appears to be suffering from an overspreading blindness, if the Lord has opened your eyes and ears and granted you the grace to perceive the truth about the sign, I encourage you to thank Him and honor that by pursuing hard after the opportunities that appear before you, to enter fully into the Lord's provision and accept the sufferings and the glory.

The Lying Report - A Supernatural Multimedia Hoax

I mentioned at the outset how a third element in the sequence of events is directly related to the two that follow it. That element is the lie itself, the threatening report Paul was entreating us about, which is to the effect that the day of the Lord has already come. Like I just mentioned, the Lord has been impressing upon me how this message of 2 Thessalonians 2 was intended primarily for the saints who would actually witness the revealing of the lawless one. What had so long ago threatened to shake the composure of the Thessalonians was a foreshadowing of what is about to come. After He began to impress this upon me I began to see models of this being dramatized in media. I wrote at some length about this during the recent Winter Olympics, because this deceptive report was modeled during the opening ceremony and then again in the closing ceremony. If you read Part 3 - Sochi Winter Olympics 2014 - The Ultimate Hoax, which I recommend for a collateral study, you'll find a fair synopsis of much of what you are reading here. What I discovered since the Olympics is what I'm about to demonstrate.

I believe what the Lord was revealing about a supernatural multimedia hoax is validated by the thematic structure of 2 Thessalonians 2!

A little over a week ago I returned to my earlier work, a version of the structure I think was unchanged from 1991, except for updating the presentation to one that is interactive. It was speaking to me of a need for further refinement because it was not as granular as I suspected the divine design probably was, based upon insight acquired during the hundreds of hours I invested over the years in the analysis of entire chapters of scripture. The Lord granted me the favor to bring it into the state you explored earlier, in the interactive frame, and which you see below. After becoming satisfied with this refined version, which I find far more compelling, I reflected upon the deeper insights offered by the newly discovered thematic equations.

What the Lord had worked with me to discover in 1991, which facilitated the key insight about the baptism, was quite intact. What really struck me now was how the extensive description of the massive deception that would obviously attend a baptism and subsequent fraudulent messianic ministry was directly matching to the description of the report that Paul was entreating us about. Wow!

The connections I'm going to be pointing out weren't apparent prior to this recent analysis. All the content describing the sign is set within bracketing elements that describe the deception. When I shared this refined presentation with Aaron, we marveled together at how awesome and masterful the Lord is in crafting His Word. How touching is His loving care in tending to our need in these last days! What is coming is going to be most challenging, but the Lord has ordained that there will be Overcomers!

The Sign for the Bride - A Third Installment of the Revision

Many of us have way too much confidence in the reliability of the acclaimed teachers of the past and present, taking comfort in what's popular and familiar. We have been set-up for a great fall. Now, let's take a closer look at 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7, the cryptic secret companion to where apostasia is found. As we consider the text in a literal fashion with an eye to the changing positional relationships of unseen entities in the heavenly realm we'll find a substantial validation for the explanation I've been offering and more light being shed on the supernatural dynamic at the revealing of the lawless one. Let's keep our minds anchored and focused so they don't return to old habits and snap into auto-pilot mode to fly off to some remote location, to some foreign context. Let's keep what valuable lesson we've learned about context firmly in mind.
Here are a few versions of interest.

2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 (NASB): 6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.

2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 (KJV): 6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 (YLT): 6 and now, what is keeping down ye have known, for his being revealed in his own time, 7 for the secret of the lawlessness doth already work, only he who is keeping down now [will hinder] -- till he may be out of the way,

2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 (Interlinear): 6 And now that which is restraining you know for to be revealed him in his time 7 the indeed mystery already is working of lawlessness only the restraining at present until out of midst he might be

A Greek word that appears in both verses 6 and 7 is being variously translated as “what restrains,” “what withholdeth” and “he who now letteth,” “is keeping down” and “is restraining.” The word is katecho, Strong's G2722. The sense of this word is given to us as, “to hold fast, keep secure, keep firm possession of” and “to restrain, hinder (the course or progress of)” and “to check a ship's headway i.e. to hold or head the ship.” There's nothing amiss about these definitions. To understand what it means we just have to remain in context, focused. A simple faithful rendering of ginomai ek mesos, which appears in the NASB as, “he is taken out of the way” is “gone from among,” or, “out of midst he be.” Some being or entity is emerging out of the midst of something. The topic is the hindering and eventual enabling of this entity's emergence.

Now, with the constraining thematic equation in mind to establish the context for us, we see how the message harmonizes perfectly with its companion. What is going to emerge out of the midst of some heavenly realm is pneuma antichristos, the anointing that will manifest as a sign during the baptism of an impostor. At present, this spiritual entity is held in check, restrained from emerging. There is an active working of this pneuma antichristos at present (which we know also from 1 John 2:18), but a special appointment has been reserved for the climactic messianic hoax. When he or it is released, as verse 3 declares, then “shall have come the [standing away from] first and shall have been revealed the man of lawlessness.” There it is! It's quite simple, really, when you give the natural symmetry of the scriptures due respect. Allowing, of course, that the Author has opened our eyes and granted us the requisite revelation insight. He is so good to us!

What we've covered thus far is merely the core of what must be learned about this passage. Because of the manifold doctrines of demons that have been swirling around this passage, attention has been drawn away from a key aspect of the event. Much has been made of who or what is the agent responsible for doing the restraining while the subject that should be the focus of our attention is overlooked. The matter of timing is a constant thread in verses 6 and 7 and in the surrounding context, and this really demands our attention.

So That in his Time he will be Revealed

Paul indicates that his readers have been adequately informed on the subject of the restraining.

6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. ~ 2 Thessalonians 2:6

He's not inviting us to speculate about what or who is the restraining agency. Most of us scratch our heads and wonder if we might have been absent when he gave that lecture, but he actually makes his point right here in the immediate context. But few take notice. The point being made about keeping pneuma antichristos in check is that there is a set time for this. There is a season for restraining and a fit moment appointed for its release. Reread verse 6 until this sinks in. The Greek word used here for “time” is kairos: “2a - a fixed and definite time.”

If you're generally ignorant about how the Lord keeps a tight schedule in this age and that the key events have been encoded into His calendar, you have not been doing your homework. For a long time. I don't mean to be insulting, but the Lord has been revealing these things and had his servants publish them to make it accessible for many years and many of us are guilty of negligence.

Paul made a declaration in his first letter to the Thessalonians that is similar to verse 6 above. That will be understood as having had paramount importance in the day appointed for the revealing of the lawless one, when it will be seen that ignorance of these scheduled appointments, and this one in particular, has costly consequences.

Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:1-2

I expect to be writing more on that subject, having recently refined and expanded the work I had done years ago on the thematic structure of the passage that includes chapter 4 in its scope. The saints have been misled about the basis for destruction. We have been set-up. And we have deserved it.

If you digested the recommended study titled Baptism - The Prophecy, you understand how Yom Kippur, aka the Day of Atonement, was instituted as a holy day, in no small part, to prophesy of, describe in its fulfillment while legal matters in the spiritual realm were addressed, and memorialize our Lord's baptism. If you are familiar with the collateral study titled When Jesus was Baptized - The Celestial Signs, you have even more insight into how things are done in the Lord's economy.

The understanding of times and seasons compares to the frame of a jigsaw puzzle in how it provides essential scale and defines the fundamentals of contextual relation. Until you are made privy to the Lord's schedule of appointments, the events marked out, both future and past, and their relationships are at best, poorly defined. When the Lord corrected my error concerning whether or not the timing of key transitional events like the harvests would be known in advance it was quite another epiphany! (Will No One Know the Day?) They will be! The Lord Y'shua was baptized and anointed on Yom Kippur, but the Antichrist anointing is appointed for a different day on the calendar, a day positioned nearly exactly opposite on the annual cycle. There are several historical examples modeling the event with its timing for us in the scriptures, and these are the subject of the next part in this bookish online series on the subject of The Sign for the Bride. There have also been validation signs of the event and the day appointed since I've been on watch for it over the span of the last nearly 20 years.

So, until you've been properly informed about the critical matters of timing, you have not yet been properly informed. Those who have not been adequately informed have wrongly supposed “not knowing” makes no difference, stumbling on ahead in the dark with imaginative speculation. Hey - been there, done that, got the T-shirt.

Returning our attention back to verse 6, we see now that Paul's message wasn't placing emphasis on the identity of the restraining agency so much as on the importance of knowing there is a season appointed for the restraint that has a set limit. When the appointed time arrives there will come an end to it.

6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. ~ 2 Thessalonians 2:6

The pneuma antichristos will be released at the appointed time, according to plan. The sovereign God will assure it. The host and the agent appointed as his baptizing high priest will be fully ready in this perfectly synchronized action. The setting will be precisely according to design and there will be a fit reception awaiting the big debut! According to the model of John 13:27, Jesus Himself will give the signal. At His word, a dimensional portal will open and that spiritual entity will fall away, “apostasia,” and the special anointing will descend upon the host. This will reveal him - with the attendant supernatural manifestation of lying signs and wonders. The debutante's coming out party will be spectacular and unrivaled. At least, that is, until the one shows up who will end his masquerade. If you want to see a party, just wait until you see His welcome party!

If you've been reading the blog for a while, you have come to understand this event in the language of the ancient celestial stargates and deities. Horus, by one name, will transit the Silver Gate to incarnate into the prepared host. You may note that the clocks and timers and hourglasses that often appear in the symbolic Occult context suggests how this comes at an appointed time, as well as in connection with a special provision of control over the activation of time-space portals.

With all this insight into the meaning of the passage, there's still much more to be gleaned. We've only got the core of it thus far in this document, but we should at least have that with full confidence.

The Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and Our Gathering Together to Him

Much of the theological sleight of hand giving a spin to the truth presented here has been facilitated by the doctrine of demons that makes a false distinction between the constructs that reveal the critical matter of timing. This, too, finds a corrective contextual guide in the thematic structure.

The second part of verse 1 is matched to the second part of verse 2, so one sheds light on the other side in this thematic equation. Because “with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,” compares to “either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come,” we can and must equate and clarify the descriptive constructs. These are represented in “the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,” “our gathering together to Him,” and “the day of the Lord.”

The day of the Lord is a millennial day, the 7th, and we crossed over on Yom Teruah of 1999, as I've documented with confidence. There are mistaken notions about this, which aren't really germane to this study. I've sufficiently addressed this in other studies. The coming of the Lord can be represented in a long sequence of events that actually began, from a very important perspective in 1991. That's when the celestial sign marking Yom Teruah identified to us the beginning of His coming in judgment. In this sequence of events, the kind being brought to our attention is called “our gathering together to Him.” I say, “kind,” because there's actually three of these ingatherings appointed, which are called in some contexts, harvests. All three of these are in view. They are appointed to follow each other in sequence, just as laid out on the Lord's calendar. These will all three of them happen in connection with the coming of the Lord, not independent of it. These three will also occur during the Day of the Lord, and again, for the sake of clarity, not independent of that. This understanding is in harmony with the divine organization of the message.

The nonsensical fractured mishandling of these constructs by the church authorities conflicts with this divine thematic pairing, and this distortion is used to do much further damage to the message. The problem here isn't just a matter of the innocent being ignorant. This will become very apparent when we've come to the end of this presentation.

The cryptic explanation of the unseen activity at the revealing of the Antichrist lawless one may be understood from the revealing of the Christ because that is his template. If you followed my earlier suggestion to read Baptism - The Prophecy, some of this will be familiar.

Baptism Reveals

The baptism of John was actually a sign, an event that revealed. The lawless one will also be revealed at his baptism. John 1:31 records John's testimony about when Y'shua was baptized.

John 1:31 (NIV) I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.

John 1:31 (NASB) I did not recognize Him, but so that He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing in water.

John 1:31 (YLT) and I knew him not, but, that he might be manifested to Israel, because of this I came with the water baptizing.

Baptism is for manifesting, making manifest, revealing! It makes manifest the one baptized so it may be understood as a sign given for the purpose of identification. We just read about how the baptism by water was an identifying sign to Israel. Consider how the declaration is repeated to clarify how this was likewise an identifying sign to John, personally, Y'shua's own cousin.

32 John testified saying, “I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him. 33 I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’ 34 I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God. ~ John 1:32-34

As it was with the Messiah, so will it be with the Antichrist, when revealed through baptism. This revelation insight into the baptism model has been confirmed to me by way of how the sponsor of that antichrist baptism spills the beans. The big event is modeled in paintings and corporate logos, public ceremonies, plays, movies, music videos, commercials and other kinds of animated presentations like I, pet goat II. The Lord has used these pre-enactments to validate what He opened to me in the scriptures, way back in the early summer of 1991, and to bring me now in this late hour, with a returning to the 2nd chapter of 2 Thessalonians, to an expanded and refined understanding of what is about to unfold in another year's time! As you can tell, this presentation is taking some time and effort to get through, but it's worth it, so worth it!

In Luke's Gospel we find an account that illustrates the example for what is referred to in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 as apostasia, the standing away from.

21 Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.” ~ Luke 3:21-22

Heaven opened and holy spirit descended in bodily form like a dove. Call it a stargate transit. A voice came out of heaven that obviously belonged to Jesus' Father in heaven. Okay. That's not too complicated. So, the dove-like holy spirit, where did it come from? Was anybody else there? These aren't hard questions. Before heaven opened, was the spirit with Jesus' Father in heaven? Of course. When the spirit descended, was the spirit still with Him in heaven? Of course not. It's on this simple model that we read the following in 2 Thessalonians.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 (NASB) Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy [literally: “standing away from”] comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction

2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition

Because a counterfeit is modeled on a genuine, there must come a similitude. The dove-like holy spirit was together with Jesus' Father in heaven, Who is also known as the Holy Spirit. When heaven opened and the spirit descended, the holy spirit was apostasia the Holy Spirit and the presence of any other spirits in that realm, standing away from with respect to position. Using the King James version, there was “a falling away” as the spirit descended from heaven, departing from its former heavenly abode and separating from those with whom it had formerly been abiding. There was no revolt, rebellion or apostasy involved, merely a change of position. The revealing of the lawless one will be with a counterpart anointing of unholy spirit. As I wrote earlier, the word apostasia neatly encapsulates the description of the unseen activity, and this is the theme of its structural companion in verses 6-7.

One of the major obstacles I had to overcome before I could get my mind wrapped around what the Lord was trying to show me was the idea that two different kinds of things were being identified in the apostasia and the revealing of the man. I held the notion that the apostasy of the church was going to happen, and then after that the lawless one was going to be revealed. When I realized that a baptism and anointing was in view and that “apostasia” was actually describing the supernatural dynamic involved, I had an epiphany.

It's like as if you told me there was an incident and the car was wrecked. If I make the connection between the incident and the car wreck it's immediately obvious that the car was wrecked in the incident because it was a car accident. The two are directly related. The incident didn't come first, to be followed by the wrecking of the car as somehow independent of that incident. You see, the lawless one isn't going to be revealed as some event independent of apostasia. It's more like a cause and effect relationship. There's going to be a “standing away from” as the unholy spirit of antichrist separates and descends, a falling away with the subsequent result that the lawless one is revealed. If popular versions were less interpretive, we might be reading something more along the lines of this uninterpreted rendering found in a Greek-English Interlinear, where apokalyphthe is translated, “shall have been revealed.”

31 I did not recognize Him, but so that He might be manifested to Israel, I came baptizing in water. 32 John testified saying, “I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him. 33 I did not recognize Him, but He who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘He upon whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon Him, this is the One who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’ 34 I myself have seen, and have testified that this is the Son of God. ~ John 1:31-34

The anti-dove-like unholy spirit is different from its holy counterpart. It's being restrained in an assigned zone, an underworld realm that is described in the following passage.

11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. ~ Ephesians 6:11-12

The epistle of 1 John has a pertinent revelation for us.

and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. ~ 1 John 4:3

The phrase, "this is the spirit of the antichrist," is more literally, "this is that of the antichrist," because the translators furnish the word “spirit” that is not technically in that text. This version isn't being represented as a literal translation but as an interpreted version, so there's no misrepresentation involved. That the subject is a spirit is readily apparent from the immediate context, with “that of the antichrist” being identified with “every spirit that does not confess Jesus,” and what is likewise “not from God.” It is pneuma antichristos. We read that it is coming, yet now it is already in the world. According to 2 Thessalonians we are told that the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but yet we still await an arrival, when “shall have come the apostasy first and shall have been revealed the man of lawlessness.”

6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. ~ 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7

This spirit of antichrist is a demonic entity, pneuma antichristos, which may be considered the antithesis of the spirit of Christ, the pneuma christos of Romans 8:9 and 1 Peter 1:11.

After the pattern of the genuine Christ, there must be a man with a body of flesh who will be in relationship to this pneuma antichristos as a host after the anointing (or perhaps “anti-anointing” is more technically correct). We could perhaps extrapolate how he is genetically groomed, bred for this destiny in accordance with the heritage of his father the devil. This man as a custom avatar host with “designer genes” will fully embrace the indwelling of pneuma antichristos as a perfectly prepared vessel. This avatar arrangement will be in the earth a concrete physical manifestation of Satan's power and presence!

Here's the model of the genuine that is about to be counterfeited in John 14's “red letter” testimony.

7 If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.” 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. ~ John 14:7-11

John's declaration in the following verse echoes Paul's from 2 Thessalonians in identifying the coming of antichrist as a sign, an indicator of the nearness of the end of the age.

Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. ~ 1 John 2:18

The Sign for the Bride - In Revision

I've been updating one of the core studies on theopenscroll.com, on the subject of the sign for the Bride. This update will reflect the expanded insight that has come more recently in this remarkable season. The scope of the project is substantial. Here's what I've got so far.

The revealing of the lawless one is the controversial subject of 2 Thessalonians chapter 2. It can be seen as a sign, because this revealing is presented as a special kind of evidence intended to assure us that the gathering to the Lord, in the Day of the Lord, has not yet happened. When the lawless one is revealed, that will be a sign to some that the ingathering of the Lord's harvest is impending. That cryptic passage of scripture further discloses to the observant student that there is a third element in the sequence of events which is directly related to the two that follow it. All this, we are told, will be shrouded in deception. If you have been paying attention, you will note that what I've written so far conflicts with what you've been taught, if you're like most readers, because even the meaning of this passage has been shrouded, for protection. Let me encourage you to give this important matter the attention it's due, because so much depends upon your not being deceived.

I count this study among the most important on this website! With this complete revision in this very late hour, at the end of March, 2014, I strongly encourage you to give your attention to the full scope of the study. If your custom is to skim the content, I don't recommend it here. It's a substantial document, granted, but worth at least two readings. And, much prayerful meditation. No kidding.

It was in 1988 or 1989 when the Lord pruned me off the religious system and took me as a student at His feet. As He began to deal with me regarding signs of the end times it was immediately apparent that, while I had some useful foundation, I had plenty of unlearning to do. I had been taught and in turn had been teaching the same popular doctrines held to be true by most evangelicals today. As I began to experience the Lord's company as a personal tutor, my wrong thinking about the revealing of the man of sin represented an obstacle beyond which I could not proceed. I needed help, and He provided it! What He taught me back in 1991 about the revealing of the lawless one has been validated many times in many ways. In recent years, and in recent weeks, He has granted more favor into understanding the dynamic surrounding the event, and this revisiting of this study represents a coming full circle that speaks to the lateness of the hour.

Have I mentioned how important this is? Okay. If I could be more emphatic, I would be. Read on. I'm going to demonstrate something very special.

Here's the key passage.

1 Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. 5 Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? 6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness. ~ 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

The sign involves a man who will be revealed in an identifying kind of event. The question of the day will be, “Who is he?” An answer will be presented. This revealing will be attended by supernatural phenomena and mass deception. The Apostle John saw this as a beast rising from the sea (Rev. 13:1), which is presented in other contexts as the return of an ancient god known to some as Apollo, Horus or Quetzalcoatl, as demonstrated in many exhibits on The Open Scroll Blog. What is astounding is how most of the saints will be deceived about his identity, even many of you reading here now.

The signal event is a revealing of a man, but this sign is not intended so much as an alert for the saints that our gathering to the Lord is impending but to give assurance that the appointed harvests of the age have not yet happened. Now, this might seem like a rather peculiar point to make, but it's very important. The signal event is of such a kind that our assurance comes in it's absence. That's a BIG DEAL. This huge insight contradicts popular theories, exposing them as lies that are serving to provide deceptive cover in advance of the critical hour, as the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. While this message does have some relevance in the present time, I've come to understand how it's primarily intended for the very near future - when the Antichrist beast is just about to be revealed. Yet, without having the proper preparation for that season, saints will be deceived, as the scripture reveals.

You should know that some already assert that the resurrection is past. Some even assert that the lawless one has already been revealed. With deep insight into Paul's message, those assertions are easily rejected.

While some suggest that being informed about the demonic nature of aliens is adequate assurance to exempt us from delusion, it is not. Neither is it enough that we might correctly identify the candidates for the two beasts of Revelation 13. And, neither is it sufficient to know the general timeframe when the beast will appear. You may be highly skeptical about these claims I'm making, but the Adversary has some tricks up his sleeve that are going to be very effective. His agents have been spilling the beans as they boast about this plan, validating a message I'm going to illustrate from the depths of 2 Thessalonians 2. If you're still trusting in the recognized church leaders to run point on this, you're in serious jeopardy.

When the critical hour arrives, those of us who have received the love of the truth and who are appointed for that day will have a key role to play, and we will not be deceived. Then will come the harvest, the resurrection events, each in their turn. The false messiah or antichrist will be correctly identified by only a small faction of the Body of Christ, which is why I label this revelatory event the sign for the Bride. She alone will be awake and watching, and God will exempt her from the deluding influence because she does love the Truth. This qualifies her for a special mission, and she will be found worthy at the coming of the Bridegroom for His Bride!

More Tools and a Bigger Toolbox

For several years I had been under the impression that the Church would collectively be “raptured” without warning, having been schooled in pre-trib rapture doctrine. When the Lord pruned me off the religious system and took me as a student at His feet, I had begun to enjoy a season of being led into one passage after another to find precious insights. Then, I found myself confronted with 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 in a way I was not expecting. I perceived from my confusion that what I had been taught had error but I had no clue about how to resolve the passage. Since insight wasn't immediately forthcoming, my response was to move on, expecting that the Lord might prosper the unraveling of some other passage. I found myself being returned rather directly to 2 Thessalonians 2. After a few cycles it became apparent that I was stuck in a loop. I didn't know what to make of this new twist, so I gave the study a rest. It was maybe a day later when I had an epiphany! He knew I didn't have what it took! He wasn't running me around in circles for no reason. He intended to address my situation and I needed to have confidence in following Him beyond where I had previously been willing to be led. He was prompting me to join Him again at the computer - and so I did! I was eager to continue this marvelous adventure and to break ground where I hadn't yet dared! I needed more tools and a bigger toolbox and that's just what I got!

What the Lord showed me about the unlocking of the secrets of this cryptic passage has to do with context. It's a little technical. The insight is bound up in the way the text was written. Words and phrases repeat in simple ways to create patterns. The Lord's way is to communicate with us through patterns, in His works; in nature as pursued by those interested in the physical sciences, and in His Word, which includes that which is written. These linguistic patterns of thematic structures are found throughout the entire range of biblical text. This feature bears witness to the divine nature of the collection like as if the Author's fingerprints were left all over it! Yet, it is a stunning reality that when presented with plain evidence of the phenomenon it bears no weight of conviction for most folks. Wow! Also, as obvious as it is that the patterns exist, precious few among the saints can perceive that there is, in this surprising manifestation of divine order, anything of value for our instruction. Mind boggling. How can this be? Ahhhhh. The Lord has hidden his valuables. They are well guarded.

It must be said at this point that the difficulty in understanding II Thessalonians is due to the fact that it is cloaked, spiritually. It's not merely difficult but rather impossible to understand unless the Lord opens the eyes and ears. Because it is hidden, the translation from the Greek has suffered at the hands of the translators and confusion has reigned. Because insight is embedded in the linguistic structure, gaining access to it is like digging for buried treasure. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Because this particular passage's structure is essential to this important message being taught, I'll walk you through it.

If you hover your mouse over one of the elements in the display, you'll see blue highlighting appear. For many of these, you'll see a companion element highlighted at the same time. This highlighting makes it easy to find and compare the matched elements. Let's pick some of the low hanging fruit, so to speak. Hover over the gray bar just to the left of this line of verse 3: “and the man of lawlessness is revealed.” That line and the first line of verse 8 are both highlighted. “8 Then that lawless one will be revealed.” Almost word for word, what's in verse 3 is repeated in verse 8. Now, move your mouse cursor over the next gray bar down: “the son of destruction” pairs with “whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming.” Although the same words aren't used, it's not hard to see how they compare. Now, move your mouse cursor over the next gray bar down: “4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God” pairs with “9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan.” Again, it's not hard to see how these lines compare.

While there's nothing shockingly profound in those particular pairings, if you meditate upon them you should get a sense of how an awareness of the link between them, knowing their connection is divinely appointed, affords us access to more insight than when we were ignorant of the pairing. See, all things must be understood in context, and when we're able to confidently identify matched elements we have learned something very special about the context. When we're ignorant of the divine pairings inherent in a text we cannot help but to neglect this special provision. Unless the holy spirit specifically calls it out to our attention, we will derive no benefit from these divinely appointed guides for interpretation. I've learned that the Lord expects us to do our part, and that honest effort is required, and rewarded.

Peter makes an interesting point in his second epistle.

15 and regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; just as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, wrote to you, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. ~ 2 Peter 3:15-16

This epistle of 2 Thessalonians is one of Paul's letters. The observation Peter made by the inspiration of the holy spirit is certainly applicable here! If we disrespect the inherent structure, whether with or without knowledge of it and regardless of our intent, distorting the scriptures will naturally result. While it would be silly to argue that any interpretation that has not been derived from a sound structural analysis can be dismissed on that basis, it would be just as silly to suggest that interpretations that conflict with a sound structural analysis is on equal footing with those that do not. Destruction, and conversely, salvation, is, in no small way, dependent upon giving proper respect for what is written and how it is written. It should already be apparent that structural analysis is beneficial, and wisdom dictates that we take advantage of every benefit in this most challenging endeavor.

Now, if you continue exploring the highlighted pairings of the interactive display you'll notice that the other pairings aren't quite so obvious as the “low hanging fruit” in the examples I described. If there weren't some obvious pairings it would be so difficult to discover those that are less obvious. The easy sets help us build the foundation for discovering what kind of structure is present. When you learn to respect the natural symmetry and become familiar with how certain kinds of structures are balanced and woven together, the more difficult pairings become recognizable in relationship with those that are more obvious. We're not just going after random sets of structures in our efforts to break the code, we're going after a cohesive whole, where every word is weighed and set into place.

If we hover the mouse cursor over the bar on the left of the first line in verse 3, “3 Let no one in any way deceive you,” it will be highlighted together with its companion, “5 Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things?” This pairing is slightly less apparent but it can be seen how they both provide some narrative. What Paul was telling them when he was still with the saints in Thessalonica was precautionary, so that they would not be deceived. (We know the message was for them, then, but it will be seen to be prophetic, ultimately intended for another time and people.)

The great benefit of discerning the thematic structure comes in comparing the divinely linked elements. Do you see it? When we have rightly discerned a pairing, we may know with confidence this link has been made with intent, to guide the one who inquires so diligently into the Author's own purposes. If context provides meaning, which it most certainly does, context is very specially identified in this matter of paired elements. The context of one is most particularly its thematic partner. Again, THE CONTEXT OF ONE IS MOST PARTICULARLY ITS THEMATIC PARTNER. You did catch that, right? I don't want to be accused of being too subtle here. One element is provided to shed light on the other. In the case of simple and obvious constructions, the pair may just be provided to guide the student to discover the structure that will expose those gems buried more deeply. In availing ourselves of this special provision of insight into the context, we find ourselves probing the depths of His Word for what the Author might be pleased to grant, as the holy spirit leads the way in this hunt for buried treasure.

With all that said, here's an image of the structure of matching elements in the set we just walked through together, with the pairing I omitted being highlighted to make comparison easy. I saved this pairing for last because it's the most obscure match.

This kind of structure is sometimes referred to as an extended alternation. There are five themes listed, then they are repeated in order, like ABCDE, then A`B`C`D`E`. A simple alternation describes two themes, A and B, repeated in order as A`B`. When a list of 3 or more items is repeated it can be called an extended alternation. I've analyzed enough of the wider scope of the passage to determine that this extended alternation in 5+5 parts is a single unit, which is an important observation because we need to have confidence that it may be considered in isolation. You'll notice how this highlighted pairing departs from the norm. This is not the familiar one line match to another of roughly similar word count or structure. This calls attention to the pairing because it stands out as unique. Let's give this matter some thought. If you need to break for some coffee or tea, I'll wait. ;)

Ready? Okay. Let's ask the hard question. How do these components compare? We know they do because we've analyzed the structure. This is what the Lord brought me to so memorably, for the purpose of discovering and resolving this riddle. This is why He put me in a loop by causing me to return to this passage until I was adequately confronted with my inability to grasp the real meaning. This is why He invited me back when I realized He was going to teach me something new, providing a tool that could be used to mine for the deeply buried treasure. So, how do these components compare? If you have been trained in the doctrines of devils, like I had in my excursion through Mystery Babylon, your mind will go flying on auto-pilot while navigating some convoluted distortions - and find no satisfactory resolution. When you set all that aside, if you're able, and with fresh eyes let the scripture interpret itself in context, with respect to the divinely paired elements, you're going to be led into some startling revelation! What I laid out in the lengthy introduction to this study was not speculative but based upon some special insight. Access is denied, to most, but granted to a few.

What does apostasy, a falling away, rebellion or revolt, according to the rendering of popular versions, have to do with anything verses 6 and 7 have to offer? Honestly, nothing. There is a whole lot of confusion swirling about and you're going to have to take a fresh look at it. If you're not willing to do some unlearning, you're in the wrong place - this is not for you. There's plenty more about verses 1-12 that needs to be factored in eventually, but this is where we must begin, with the Greek word, “apostasia.” We're going to work toward the end of understanding how one thematic element matches the other and guides us to the meaning the Author has buried like great treasure.

The Greek word being translated is apostasia, Strong's G646. According to that scholarly authority, it means “Forsake: "an apostasy, defection, revolt," always in NT of religious defection, is translated "to forsake" in Act 21:21, lit., "(thou teachest) apostasy (from Moses);" in 2 Th 2:3, "falling away." ” According to Vines Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words, "a defection, revolt, apostasy," it means, “Fall, Fallen, Falling, Fell:” and “is used in the NT of religious apostasy; in Act 21:21, it is translated "to forsake," lit., "thou teachest apostasy from Moses." In 2Th 2:3 "the falling away" signifies apostasy from the faith. In papyri documents it is used politically of rebels.” Well, that's all pretty consistent and plain, right? Yet, there's error in it. I don't dispute that the word is used politically of rebels in papyri documents, but that's not how it's used in 2 Thessalonians, which is not political. The translation of apostasia as “falling away” is pretty fair, but when that is taken by extension to mean “religious apostasy,” a grievous error has been made.

Who am I to insist that the recognized authorities are in error here? Someone who chose to cease from arguing with the Author about what it is He really said and meant. I also happen to be someone to whom the Lord revealed the celestial sign of His return in judgment, to be frank about it. Stick with me here, I'm going to provide some simple evidence to back my assertion, and this will open access into the real meaning, in context. It will be seen that the Lord Himself has hidden this matter to achieve his higher purposes.

The Greek word apostasia is a positional word that simply describes a “standing away from.” Men, do the homework, your due diligence, and make up your own mind about it. You can easily discover that apostasia is the feminine form of the neuter gender, apostasion (G647). This is from a derivative of aphistemi (G868). That word is composed of apo (G575) and histemi (G2476). Look at the meanings provided, the uncolored basis.

How do they get religious apostasy from apostasia? It's imported, from foreign contexts. The 3 occurrences of apostasion in the Bible simply deal with divorce, where a husband and wife are separated, put apart, where one party then stands away from the other in positional relationship. This is just how apostasia should be understood, but it's not used in the context of the marriage relationship. Aside from our passage in 2 Thessalonians 2, the word is found in only one other place.

and they have been told about you, that you are teaching all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children nor to walk according to the customs. ~ Acts 21:21

If you can justify painting the word with additional meaning and transmitting it into 2 Thessalonians 2, you can probably justify claims that the apostasy of the church is somehow involved as a sign - but that's a bad thing. Very, very bad. When you see how this develops, it should become apparent that, while the church is most certainly apostate, the notion makes no sense whatsoever in 2 Thessalonians 2. The importing of the notion of apostasy, revolt or rebellion actually negates the message and renders the passage nonsensical. The word in context presents something altogether different, which is quite stunning as an exhibition of the Master's work of concealing and revealing!

With the structure of the focal passage already having been discerned with confidence, we have the advantage of knowing the context. We know which pond to fish in. The thematic companions are intended to shed light on each other. Verses 6 and 7 are going to help us understand this cryptic positional relationship that is apostasia and explain how this helps us understand it as a sign. Well, if only verses 6 and 7 weren't equally cryptic. Now what? We will do what we have done, looking at the words used and letting them interpret themselves in the context. But that's not enough. We've reached the point where more help is required. Revelation insight - there's no substitute. An understanding of the nature of the subject is required. The only chapter and verse I can offer on this matter is from John 16.

12 “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. ~ John 16:12-13

The secret to understanding the sign is in recognizing how this revealing is modeled on another. This lawless one will be an impostor. Known also as the Antichrist, he will claim the identity of the true messiah. He's a fraud, a poser, a mimic. An anti - christ is not just against Christ but is opposite Christ, in the sense of a likeness as a kind of counterpart, a counterfeit. The word “Christ” is the same as Messiah, literally meaning anointed. Jesus literally became the Christ when he was anointed, which occurred during his baptism. That's what revealed him, as the Christ, as I'll illustrate shortly. Because a counterfeit is modeled on a genuine, there must come a similitude, an anointing with a counterpart of unholy spirit in a ceremonial baptism that serves to reveal him. With this insight, the thematic components of interest in 2 Thessalonians 2 will be seen to make perfect sense! What is being described in verses 6 and 7 is the unseen dynamic. It supplements the descriptions of the “seen” activity in the adjacent context. The word apostasia neatly encapsulates the description of the unseen activity in its thematic companion. Sure, the Author could have told us all this in a straightforward way, but that wouldn't serve His purposes. It is hidden by intent. If at some point, you get it, rejoice, friend!

Decoding - Sweet Dreams P&G

Nearly a month ago, the Sweet Dreams Collection™ was introduced by Proctor and Gamble. (Press release: A Great Night’s Sleep Starts in the Laundry Room with the New Sweet Dreams Collection®) A few years ago I was led to write a lengthy document titled, Pharmaceuticals -The Sorceries of Babylon, which has been one of the most visited pages on theopenscroll.com. When you give consideration to the influence chemicals have that are ingested in water, foods and pills, breathed in and absorbed through the skin, the sum is considerable. For several years, I've been very sensitive in particular to laundry products. There's something in most of them that I can sense when I get within a couple aisles of where these are sold in a market. What I use on my clothing and bedding I've had to be very cautious about. What might be in the lavender scented concoction or potion used by P&G is probably something special. Given the occult signaling, A Laundry Lullaby just can't be good.

If you haven't seen the film, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer, you may want to because what is illustrated has some truth in it about the power of “aroma therapy” workings.

One of the “good works” so-called of the Sweet Dreams Collection promotion involves a pledge.

Sweet Dreams. Lavender. Oh, it seems so nice. It's not that I don't trust P&G, because I do. I trust they will serve their god with every means at their disposal.

Have you seen this video I made a couple years ago? The HE or High Efficiency logo is a Horus Eye symbol. It complements the sun imagery that is such a natural element in detergent branding. Few suspect the breach of the 2nd commandment has any consequences. It does.
