Signs in the Earth - Report of May 15

As I write on the 15th of May, I become ever more convinced by all that I see that we have nearly crossed a threshold into a season of the overturning of this present order. There are so many signs.

As a reminder, according to this seasons watch, the 17th and 18th are indicated for the projection of the flood of Noah's day into ours. That seems to be linked to the Black Awakening, and a planned sequence of events is expected to follow the initial triggers. Chaos will be brought by embedded multiples in America and around the world. I believe a military engagement must come before America is brought to a substantially diminished condition. America and Iran will engage, as according to Daniel 8, and as with Iraq America will be victorious. Then, while America boasts, her own “horn” will be broken. Pandemic will follow and the result of all this will be another world order where the people are ready for their Antichrist to emerge as their hope of salvation.

Calls are mounting for hardline Jewish settlers to be classified as terrorists (May 11). There are 144,000 sons of Israel who are within a year of discovering the identity of their Messiah in a mass epiphany. Do you think they don't already know persecution?

Friction between world powers is now far more than saber rattling. Reports are being floated about the kinds of activity that indicate actions are about to be taken by official agencies in the very short term. The recent USDA solicitation for submachine guns makes little sense in the very near term beyond the sending of a message. On May 7, the Department of Agriculture (USDA) solicits "the commercial acquisition of submachine guns [in] .40 Cal. S&W." For what possible reason does the USDA need submachine guns? Why would USPS need millions of rounds of ammo in multiple orders? Reports of the state of surveillance on roads in homes and through cell phones and connected devices and the abilities to target individuals and groups remotely with a variety of kinds of deadly and mind control devices appear daily. For no reason? We have been enclosed as in a net and the trap is about to be sprung.

On Monday the 12th...

“The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) released 36,007 convicted criminal aliens last year who were awaiting the outcome of deportation proceedings, according to a report issued Monday by the Center for Immigration Studies. The group of released criminals includes those convicted of homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping and aggravated assault, according to the report, which cites a document prepared by the ICE. A majority of the releases were not required by law and were discretionary, the organization says. According to the report, the 36,007 individuals released represented nearly 88,000 convictions, including:

193 homicide convictions
426 sexual assault convictions
303 kidnapping convictions
1,075 aggravated assault convictions
1,160 stolen vehicle convictions
9,187 dangerous drug convictions
16,070 drunk or drugged driving convictions
303 flight escape convictions”

In what world does that make sense? In this world, when this country has been made ready for chaos to be brought.

There have been many signs in the earth involving people dying in various ways. Some of these signs are accidents, some involve the apparent forces of nature, and some are “terrorist” events that have the tell-tale indicators of false flag operations. This morning, brother Phil shared some of his observations about the recent mining disaster in Soma, Turkey. There are some notable facts that suggest this might be another sign, whatever the cause may be.

On May 13, the worst mining disaster in Turkey's history occurred near Soma, in the western province of Manisa, north of Izmir. The number of confirmed dead is still rising, now above 280. There's a huge outcry due to the poor record of mining safety and suspicions about the official reporting of what caused the explosion and fire.

The location of the incident relative to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem produces some very interesting numbers, 666 and 322, the numbers associated with the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:18) and the number associated with the Skull and Bones. A circle with the radius of 666 miles inscribed around the Temple's “center of time” reference passes right through Soma. A line extending out from that same reference point at the bearing of 322 degrees passes through Soma.

The name Soma, is the name of the social drug featured in Aldous Huxley's classic, Brave New World, published in 1932.

The mine incident in Chile in 2010 was leveraged for Occult signaling, perhaps even caused and designed for it. Known as Los 33, those thirty-three miners were trapped and rescued after 69 days underground. For my commentary and video, search my blog. Those miners were raised in the Phoenix capsule on October 13, a day that is strongly associated with Marion apparitions. Phil notes that 1377 days span the beginning of the Chilean mine incident (5/8/2010) and the beginning of the Soma mine incident (13/5/2014).

In a continued psy-op refuting the clear evidence of the false flag nature of the event that changed the world, the 9/11 Museum in NYC is scheduled to open to the public on May 21 after 13 years of construction. Yes, after 13 years of construction. “Memorial museum will have a six-day dedication period starting with a ceremony attended by President Obama on Thursday.” That's today. So, 13 years, 6 days - the 13 and 6 are a signal pairing. This is mass ritual.

The contents in the box represented the closest thing that Davis could find, after years of searching, to the forbidden fruit that grew in the Garden of Eden. He plans to use synthetic biology to insert a DNA-encoded version of Wikipedia into the apple and create a living, literal tree of knowledge. ...Davis has titled the apple project “Malus ecclesia.” (Malus, the genus name for all apples, means both “bad, evil” and “apple tree” in Latin. Ecclesia translates to “church”...”

Davis is reengineering silkworms to spin gold (compares to alchemy). He won a Rockefeller grant (famous Illuminati family) for designing “a hundred-and-six-foot-tall steel tower that captured lightning strikes and hurled them back, in protest, at the sky.”

We'll soon see where all that foolishness gets him.

Concerned about where all this is going? Draw near to the Lord. He is our refuge and all hope is in Him. Many will be refined in days to come. Some will not survive to come to refinement. There is urgency, here, in drawing near to the Lord, seeking His holiness.

Haman, the enemy of the Jews

Haman is a type of the Antichrist who is featured in the book of Esther as “the enemy of the Jews.” I will assume you're familiar with the book. The revealing of the lawless one on the 13th day of the first month is modeled as Haman received the authority of the throne (represented by the king's signet ring), making an open show of it when he sent forth an official decree throughout the vast empire. His decree authorized the annihilation of all the people of Mordecai the Jew.

10 Then the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews. 11 The king said to Haman, “The silver is yours, and the people also, to do with them as you please.” 12 Then the king’s scribes were summoned on the thirteenth day of the first month, and it was written just as Haman commanded to the king’s satraps, to the governors who were over each province and to the princes of each people, each province according to its script, each people according to its language, being written in the name of King Ahasuerus and sealed with the king’s signet ring. 13 Letters were sent by couriers to all the king’s provinces to destroy, to kill and to annihilate all the Jews, both young and old, women and children, in one day, the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to seize their possessions as plunder. 14 A copy of the edict to be issued as law in every province was published to all the peoples so that they should be ready for this day. 15 The couriers went out impelled by the king’s command while the decree was issued at the citadel in Susa; and while the king and Haman sat down to drink, the city of Susa was in confusion. ~ Esther 3:10-15

The name, Haman, means, “the rager: their tumult.” Tumult, means, “a state of noisy confusion or disorder.” At the issue of the decree, the city of Susa was in confusion. As I frequently observe, when the meaning of a name that is mentioned in a verse is repeated in the action of that verse, the Author is flagging it for special attention. The impact of what Haman did when he exercised the authority of the throne is being emphasized to us, and the context reveals it to be an important prophetic scenario.

With the benefit of knowing about the time featured and the key dynamics of that day appointed for 2015 we find in this study of Haman further validation of what we've learned through our studies of Judas and Jesus Barabbas. When you take a hard look at the way Rabbinical Judaism celebrates Purim there is even much more validation to be found, which I'll demonstrate shortly. The inheritors of the role of the Pharisees and Sadducees have not changed since the season when our Lord called them hypocrites and the offspring of vipers.

In the allegorical drama of the scroll of Esther, Haman plays the Antichrist while his archnemesis, Mordecai, the Jew, may be seen in the role of the Savior. King Ahasuerus plays the role of the sovereign God. Esther plays the Bride of haMashiach while the displaced Queen Vashti is that natural branch of the Olive tree of Romans 11 that was broken off to accommodate Esther's being grafted in. Haman's plot to kill the Jews included Esther in the scope of his decree because she was secretly a Jewess, Mordecai's niece. That insight is all relatively low-hanging fruit, so to speak, but there's more to be gleaned through the concealing and revealing matters of timing.

Haman was the son of Hammedatha the Agagite. Hammedatha, means, “He who troubles the law.” Agagite, means, “given by, or, to, the moon.” Haman is identified with the tradition of the worship of the stars, which is to say, the fallen angels. The son of “He who troubles the law” is a prophetic witness of the lawless one.

There is a Jewish holiday called Purim that celebrates the victory of Esther and Mordecai over Haman. The name, “Purim,” means “lots,” as the plural of “Pur.” This makes reference to a form of divination that is the casting of a horoscope, as noted by E. W. Bullinger in his useful but limited classic, Number in Scripture. This is how Haman sought and found the propitious times for advancing his agenda. Bullinger draws a connection to Isaiah 47:13, where astrologers, stargazers and monthly prognosticators are named as the counselors of those who practice enchantments and sorceries, and where their end in fiery judgment is proclaimed. Haman was an occultist, a practitioner of the ancient arts. How did Haman know about the 13th day of the 1st month? He divined, drawing upon his guiding demonic spirits.

In the first month, which is the month Nisan, in the twelfth year of King Ahasuerus, Pur, that is the lot, was cast before Haman from day to day and from month to month, until the twelfth month, that is the month Adar. ~ Esther 3:7

Bullinger offers some insightful commentary that highlights the three thirteens involved in the timing. The decree was made on the 13th day of the 1st month, which was the 13th month from when Haman began to cast the Pur, initiating the work of prognostication. The day appointed for the execution of Haman's pre-Himmler “Final Solution” was the 13th day of the 12th month, Adar.

In memorial of the remarkable turn of events recorded in chapters 7-9, Purim is celebrated on the 14th and 15th days of the 12th month, Adar. According to the common practice of Rabbinical Judaism, Purim is celebrated with little restraint. Their practices reveal how this facet of Mystery Babylon has been imprinting lies over the truth in the same way as their counterparts in the Vatican. Like how the Eucharist is a setup for the church that prefigures the baptism and anointing of the lawless one, Purim is a similar setup for those who practice Judaism.

In the day appointed for the revealing, the lawless one's true identity will be known only to a small number, but the fraudulent impostor will be revealed to the masses. The great deception masks or suppresses his identity, and this is what is modeled in ignorance from year to year.

“Its observance centers around the reading of the megillah - scroll - of Esther. Every time the name of the villain, Haman, is read, we make noise to drown out the name. ”
(The Jewish Holidays, A Guide & Commentary, Michael Strassfeld, p.187)

By making noise to drown out the name, the celebrants suppress and conceal his identity. The confusion of identity is at the heart of the matter in that day of revealing the antitypical Haman. It will be like when Jesus Barabbas was offered alongside Jesus the only begotten son of the Heavenly Father. Who really is haMashiach? Those who were inspired to produce the Talmud exhibit an understanding of the matter, and this must be seen as an indictment of Rabbinical Judaism. Those who follow that direction have been set up.

(ibid, p.189) “Purim, then, has remained a time to feel good and let loose, a time to masquerade as someone other than yourself. The spirit of Purim is best captured in the Talmudic dictum “It is the obligation of each person to be so drunk [on Purim] as not to be able to tell the difference between ‘Blessed be Mordechai’ and ‘Cursed be Haman.’” Although later scholars tried to explain away this obligation, the Talmud's statement is unequivocal. To drive home the point, the Talmud enters into the Purim spirit by following this dictum with this story.”

“Rabbah and Rabbi Zera joined together in a Purim feast. They became drunk and Rabbah arose and killed Rabbi Zera. On the next day, he prayed on Rabbi Zera’s behalf and brought him back to life. The following year, Rabbah said: “Will your honor come, and we will have the Purim feast together.” Rabbi Zera replied: 'A miracle does not take place on every occasion.'” (Talmud, Megillah 7b)

Rabbi Strassfeld at least had the courage to declare how it really is an obligation to be so intoxicated that those two characters can not be distinguished, one from the other. The Rabbinical commentators were not just using some random example to illustrate the level of drunkenness that should be attained. See in that picture the lack of discernment that will characterize those who are drunk on the wine (Revelation 17:2) of Mystery Babylon. They will be in a mental fog of strong delusion of spirit that is not acoholic in nature when the critical choice must be made between the antitypical messianic Haman and Mordecai. There will be 144,ooo sons of Israel who will see through the dark misty stupor and reject the Rabbi's imprinting that was designed to cloud their judgment. What had been concealed will be revealed!

In the quoted story from the Talmud, observe how death and resurrection has been associated with the Purim celebration. Rabbi Zera was killed and subsequently raised. The name, Zera, means “seed” in Hebrew. Consider the pronouncement of the curse upon the serpent for what happened in the garden of Eden.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed (zera) and her seed (zera); He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel.” ~ Genesis 3:15

Slick. Mighty slick. Recall Revelation 13:3, which was linked to John 13:3 (and which is a rebel-lord-beast (13) resurrection (3) numbering).

I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; ~ Revelation 13:3

Consider also the parable of the vine-growers in Luke 20. Verse 19 reveals that the scribes and the chief priests understood that Jesus spoke this parable against them. In that parable, verse 14 reveals how the vine-growers recognized the heir and plotted to kill him so that the inheritance would be theirs. The writers of the Talmud will not be pleading ignorance in their day of judgment.

While the celebration of Purim takes place on the calendar dates of Adar 14 and 15, it may be seen how the practices encouraged by the Rabbis apply to the other end of the story, when the decree was made on the 13th day of the 1st month. They pretend to lead a celebration of the victory of the Jews over their enemy, but the practice reveals how they have flipped the script. Jews all around the world are in ignorance, celebrating instead the victory of Haman. What an irony!

(ibid, p. 191) “Purim is also a time of Purim carnivals and masquerades. In Israel, a huge parade of costumed merrymakers takes place annually and is called adloyada from the dictum that you should be so drunk that you are not able to tell the difference between (ad lo yada) cursed Haman and blessed Mordechai.”

What is the ultimate masquerade but the impostor Haman posing as Mordecai in a picture of the revealing of the lawless one? The Rabbis have set up the Jews for a grand and deadly hoax!

The decree to slaughter his enemies came as Haman acted in the authority of the throne on the 13th day of the 1st month. All the media had been gathered in for Haman's big reveal. Do you perceive the pattern?

Judas betrays Jesus, revealing his identity

After being dispatched from the upper room and spiritually equipped to carry out his appointed task, Judas set out to betray Jesus. The mission of the one doomed to destruction began and ended on the 13th day of the 1st month. His famous act of betrayal took place in the garden of Gethsemane. I recommend reading The Testimony of Gethsemane as a collateral study. When we think of the betrayal it's usually the treachery involved, the violation of trust that comes to mind, but what should also be understood is how the action functioned as a means of revealing identity. The baptism event that happens on the 13th day of the 1st month will not only reveal the identity of the betrayer but it will be the catalyst for the revelation of the more important identity, that of the true Messiah! This account emphasizes just how deeply cloaked the reality of that day will be.

Returning the third time, he said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 42 Rise! Let us go! Here comes my betrayer!" 43 Just as he was speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, appeared. With him was a crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests, the teachers of the law, and the elders. 44 Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: "The one I kiss is the man; arrest him and lead him away under guard." 45 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, "Rabbi!" and kissed him. 46 The men seized Jesus and arrested him. ~ Mark 14:41-46

Doesn't it strike you as being a little odd that it was necessary to identify which one was Jesus? As He testified, he had daily been among them, and yet, they were unable to recognize him. Wow! How hard could it have been? There's a point being made very emphatically about the extent of the inability to recognize the Messiah that will characterize that day of strong delusion. Jesus approached those who came for him personally and introduced himself, twice!

4 So Jesus, knowing all the things that were coming upon Him, went forth and said to them, “Whom do you seek?” 5 They answered Him, “Jesus the Nazarene.” He said to them, “I am He.” And Judas also, who was betraying Him, was standing with them. 6 So when He said to them, “I am He,” they drew back and fell to the ground. 7 Therefore He again asked them, “Whom do you seek?” And they said, “Jesus the Nazarene.” 8 Jesus answered, “I told you that I am He; so if you seek Me, let these go their way,” 9 to fulfill the word which He spoke, “Of those whom You have given Me I lost not one.” ~ John 18:4-9

Even still, Judas was required as the necessary agent. He was appointed to perform the critical task of betrayal, of revealing the identity of “Jesus the Nazarene.”

The meaning of the Greek word translated, “betray” in the context is paradidomi. This same word is translated into the words “delivered over” in the following verse, showing that the purpose is to reveal, to make manifest.

For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. ~ 2 Corinthians 4:11

It should be noted in connection with that verse how the Greek word translated “martyr” [Strong's G3144] means “witness.” The Bride will be following the model of the Lord, and there will be betrayal and martyrdom in the Feast days appointed for that special witness.

Judas' betrayal was with an act that identified Jesus. Here's the pattern that provides insight. One great result of the revelation of the lawless one is the revelation of the identity of the “lawful one,” the true Messiah. Through the exposure of the counterfeit, the vivid model presented in the midst of high drama exposes the identity of the genuine. Even though deception will cover the matter like a heavy cloak, the Bride will know the messianic identities. The 144,000 sons of Israel (pictured at the last supper in the reclining disciple Jesus loved) will be watching, attentive to the activity involving the betrayer and the Bride. Because of what transpires during the Feast, the beloved sons of Israel will come to know the hidden identity of haMashiach. Y'shua! Baruch haba b'shem Adonai - Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!

At the supper in the upper room, Y'shua made this declaration, and so it will be.

‘He who eats My bread has lifted up his heel against Me.’ 19 From now on I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that when it does occur, you may believe that I am He. ~ John 13:18b-19

One who eats His bread can be interpreted as a reference to a Christian.

18 Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be shown that they all are not of us. ~ 1 John 2:18-19

While the Pope is obviously the head of the Romish church, Bill Clinton is considered by some to be a Baptist. During his presidency, Bill and Hillary (who was raised as a Methodist) attended a Methodist church. He received counsel from Tony Campolo, Gordon MacDonald and Bill Hybels and was inspired by Billy Graham. Bill Clinton has also been considered to be the “royal boy chosen,” of Hebrew descent. Some consider Prince William to be a candidate, and the Church of England (Episcopal-Anglican) is the religious affiliation of the Royals. The Queen spends weekends at Windsor and attends St George's Chapel. It is both a royal peculiar and the chapel of the Order of the Garter. Whoever the antichrist host will be it is certain that he will be seen as eating the Lord's bread, a Christian, and as baptized by the Pope.

Most saints today are convinced they will be able to easily recognize the Antichrist, should he be revealed in their midst. They have been set-up. The degree of deception cloaking the competing messianic identities will be strong, as I've declared over and again, and repeat once more for emphasis!

52 Then Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders who had come against Him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against a robber? 53 While I was with you daily in the temple, you did not lay hands on Me; but this hour and the power of darkness are yours.” ~ Luke 22:52-53

“This hour and the power of darkness are yours.” Wow! The reference to the arrival of night was made in the narrative of John 13.

So after receiving the morsel he went out immediately; and it was night. ~ John 13:30

The description of the events of the 13th day of the 1st month given in 2 Thessalonians 2 highlights the threat of deception. Are you still glossing over it, like most of us have for so long? This night and the darkness granted for cover in that hour will be great. The threat is real. If I could write this so you would see these warnings have been stained with many tears, I would.

1 Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. 3 While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; 5 for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; 6 so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6

The swords (Luke 22:38) that were collected at Jesus' request and brought to the scene of the betrayal and arrest were two in number because of the division theme of the setting and because they represent two seasons of fulfillment. One sword was used by Peter to lop off an ear. The other sword was not used then because it was a symbol of those future saints who were being modeled by Peter, who arm themselves with the intent to fight as for an earthly kingdom. (Steve Quayle and Greg Evensen come to mind, and all so-called Christian Patriots, including Col. Harry Riley (Ret) and the Operation American Spring and Operation Flood Congress activities.)

I encourage reading The Testimony of Gethsemane - Part 2 for more insight into the role that will be played by those saints who choose to use the sword in that day. In that study, I also mention the following prophetic model, which took place as Jesus was led away captive.

Y'shua healed the ear Peter lopped off, which belonged to the servant of the High Priest. That restoration of the physical ear represents the coming restoration of the hearing ear for such servants of the High Priest of Israel (The release of Simeon who rejoins his brothers after they fetch Benjamin.) In restoring that ear, Jesus was modeling His work through his Bride, who is sent for that purpose. She will be received, and with her also The One who sends her AND the One who sends Him! Y'shua is “telling you before it comes to pass,” (John 13:19) not “you,” who already believe that He is “He,” but those who have not yet accepted His true identity, but will, at the time appointed. It's brilliant! What a plan!

Here's another object lesson, warning us, preparing us.

51 A young man was following Him, wearing nothing but a linen sheet over his naked body; and they seized him. 52 But he pulled free of the linen sheet and escaped naked. ~ Mark 14:51-52

That man, who followed Jesus on his way to suffering, death, and glory, made the choice to flee when he was seized. In doing so he lost his linen garment, which represents forfeit of great reward.

7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready.” 8 It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. ~ Revelation 19:7-8

The man who fled the scene of the arrest naked was a young man, which speaks of immaturity. He had clothed himself in linen, putting on righteous acts, but had not yet come to maturity. He was therefore unable to keep that most precious garment when the time of testing came, when he was tempted with saving his life.

Just prior to being seized, the young man would have witnessed what Peter did with the sword as he tried to protect Jesus, which would have spared Him from becoming the necessary sacrifice. Consider what was written earlier in Mark, in the 8th chapter, and make note of the repeating pattern.

31 And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. 32 And He was stating the matter plainly. And Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. 33 But turning around and seeing His disciples, He rebuked Peter and said, “Get behind Me, Satan; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s.” 34 And He summoned the crowd with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 35 For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. 36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? 37 For what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” ~ Mark 8:31-38

A sacrifice will be required in the day that is nearly upon us. Some will be mature, having taken up the personal cross to follow Y'shua. They will lose their lives and thereby save them. They will have clothed themselves and retained that precious garment. Others will take up the sword, ignorant of what is required. Others will be tempted to save their own lives, and in that day of trial, lose what is of far greater value.

The following was written to the lukewarm church in Laodicea.

17 Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, 18 I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. ~ Revelation 3:17-18

I pray that you have purchased enough eye salve, white garments and refined gold from Him, investing wisely, dear saint. You and I will need it.

John and Revelation: Judas and the Beast

Earlier I pointed out the link between Judas and the lawless one, how only these two are identified as huios apoleia (John 17:12 & 2 Thessalonians 2:3). The lawless one is linked indirectly with that beast through Judas because Judas is directly identified with both. Some years ago I noticed a special connection identifying Judas with the beast of Revelation 13:1. This link is subtle but convincing as a matter that is deeply hidden and thereby protected as something of great value. The connection exists in the relationship between two books attributed to John. The relationship is revealed in the matching themes of like-numbered chapters and verses, so this link is encoded specially into the presentation layer. This is not the work of clever men but an expression of the Author's handiwork, who conveys meaning to us as it pleases Him. The following table compares the first 4 verses of the 13th chapters of the Gospel of John and Revelation, verse by verse.

What we have in this comparison is an example of large scale thematic structure in the Bible, which is the evident provision of more thematic equations for our instruction. This striking comparison highlights the contrast between the genuine and the counterfeit, between Jesus and the messianic beast, between Jesus' Father and the dragon. When we focus our attention on the verses numbered 13:2, the link between Judas and that beast becomes apparent and provides us with access to more insight about the fulfillment of the prophecies involving Judas on the 13th day of the 1st month.

The description of the beast in Revelation 13:2 is not an invitation to create creepy artwork, I've been sure of that for a long time. A leopard, bear and lion are feared predators, and sometimes they prey upon men. The leopard is first named. Leopards are the only natural predators of adult chimpanzees and gorillas. They are versatile, opportunistic hunters, and very elusive. They are solitary, largely nocturnal and have a notorious ability for stealth. They stalk their prey silently then quickly pounce. They strangle or suffocate the chosen victim with a quick bite. Judas was a lot like a leopard. The beast will be like a leopard, and like Judas.

Potential Signs Announcing the Counter-Flood

We are in a watch season that aligns with the near approach to the flood of Noah's day, most particularly looking for what might match to the 7 day advance notice given to Noah about the coming flood.

For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will blot out from the face of the land every living thing that I have made. ~ Genesis 7:4

I haven't seen anything in the news that stands out more than the announcement of the ascendance in popularity of the name of Noah, but there are some other items worth noting.

A drag queen "transsexual" from Austria won the popular Eurovision Song Contest 2014 Grand Final on 5/10/14, singing, “Rise Like a Phoenix.” I relate this to a sign of the impending counter-flood because the flood was due to the increase of wickedness and the merging of different kinds of flesh, which was certainly on display in Copenhagen.

It's not that I'm against people, what I'm against is rebellion against my Creator. Because I am His, His enemies are my enemies. Those who preach tolerance today presume to be just and noble but that's just cover for the fallen ones and their own intolerance of good. When man was made, both genders were present in one body. The enemies of God know that and celebrate Baphomet and Hermaphrodite. Man was made that way for a reason, and the genders were separated for a reason. If androgyny was intended for good, He would have left man that way and called it good. Consider what the Lord God said was “not good”, and look at Tom Neuwirth aka Conchita Wurst as an example being flaunted and celebrated.

18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.” 19 Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all the cattle, and to the birds of the sky, and to every beast of the field, but for Adam there was not found a helper suitable for him. 21 So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22 The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. ~ Genesis 2:18-22

By choosing a transgender condition one perverts the expression of the image of God that He Himself deems good. This is a mocking of the Creator and what was created in His image. The distinct genders of male and female are addressed in the Bible with commands that pertain to dress, manner and behavior, and to attempt to conceal or erase the gender distinction is to sidestep those righteous commands. This represents the subversion of the Sovereign Creator's authority, which He expresses through the relationship, where a man is head of the woman (1 Corinthians 11). The relationship between the Bridegroom and His Bride is very special and highly exalted. The model that is a husband and wife (Ephesians 5) is rendered void in androgynous or homosexual models. That's bad.

“Rise Like a Phoenix” was sung (lyrics here: http://www.eurovision.tv/event/lyrics?song=31403), which was rather fitting as Tom identified himself thereby with the firebird of legend, a type of the beast. The flood of Noah will transmit into our day as a counter-flood, with violently crashing waves, with agents of chaos overwhelming the present societal order to destroy it. It's like the phoenix that burns to ash. The point of that is to bring forth the new, to rise like the phoenix out of the ashes of its previous form. The transgender gender blender and celebration of rebellion is a sign of this order that is about to be brought to smoldering ashes.

Upon winning, the celebrated Tom Neuwirth aka Conchita Wurst said, “"This night is dedicated to all who believe in a future of peace and freedom. You know who you are." Clutching her award and sobbing, she ends: "We are unity and we are unstoppable!"” (Eurovision-2014-final - The Mirror)

The Eurovision logo imagery decodes to 666, as I illustrate in a post published last year, Decoding the Eurovision Song Contest Logo. They celebrate the beast and his mark, and ritual sodomy illumination in the way of Illuminati slaves, handlers and programmers.

It's evidence of the rituals being done. Birds may be clean or unclean, biblically, and are symbolic of spirit, holy and evil. Clean birds are used for sacrifice in the Torah. Las Vegas is known as "sin city." This news speaks to me of the chosen ones, dissociated, mindless in their Delta missions of chaos and destruction. They will be sacrificed in the Satanic blood ritual, and be sacrificing their victims in the streets. Mass demonic energy harvest. Because “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” is the motto, it speaks to the secrecy of the chosen ones and the undergrounders doing their rituals secretly. The coming Black Awakening operation is for most completely unsuspected.

A Word from the Lord: I Will be With You and You Will be Prepared

This is a season the likes of which we have never seen before, and one which we will never see again. I know that the struggle for some of you as of late has been immense as the enemy has received a significant upgrade in their powers and abilities through the latest ritual season and extraordinary eclipses. Over the course of the last couple of weeks I have been seeking the Lord as to whether or not He had a word for His people for me to share, and the only answered I received was "not yet."

Just a little while ago, however, that changed. After three days of intense heaviness and engaging in a season of intense prayer the Lord shared the following word with me today. I pray it is as comforting to some of you as it has been to me.

"Tell my people these are the days which have been prophesied of old. The powers of darkness are increasing as the time of the end draws near. Fear not, for those of you who have made your home on the Rock will be able to stand against all that will come against you in the days ahead.

Those of you who have chosen to make your foundation on the sand will continue to be swept away by the tide of deceit and deception that will destroy all that is not of Me.

Now is the time to be meek in the flesh and mighty in the spirit. Do not heed the call to arms sounded by the warriors of the flesh, but continue to abide in Me and be strong in My Spirit and wield the sword of My Word against the powers of darkness.

The time of great destruction is nearly at hand. Give no consideration for your lives, your well-being, or for those of the ones whom you love. All that has not been completely surrendered and given over to Me will be used against you to your destruction. I love you and I love the ones whom you love and you must trust Me to care for and protect all that I have given you.

The time of great change has come. The work of preparation of this season is nearly complete, and the work of refinement shall continue in the fiery trials ahead.

Continue to seek Me and draw near to Me so that I may renew and strengthen you. The assault of the enemy will leave you weary and downtrodden if you do not constantly seek Me for renewal and strength.

Soon some of you will be put to your greatest test as you will be called to lay down your lives for My sake. For others this test will not come until later. Regardless of when your greatest hour of testing may come, keep your eyes upon Me and I will give you all that you will require in that hour. For those of you who are truly Mine, those who truly love Me I will move Heaven and earth on your behalf. Trust me and do not fear, for I will never leave you nor forsake you in your time of need and trouble.

All of the trials, tribulation, and suffering that you have endured have been to refine and prepare you for the season that is nearly upon you. Remember the miracles that you have received and witnessed, remember all that I have taught you and everything we have endured together in this season. Do not lose sight of Me in the days to come. I have prepared you for that which is to come and will continue to refine you through all that is yet to come.

Do not fear when the darkness falls, for you will be prepared and I will be with you until the end."

Signs of the Season: "Noah sails past Jacob" as a blue baby born & Stephen Jones' Observations

The looming danger suggested in what's going on today in our world, some of which is reflected in the media news reports, is not going to subside before there is further escalation. We have been lied to about our status and condition from all quarters, like Clinton did in a carefully staged “interview.” Trouble must come. Judgment must continue until the age is brought to an end.

Up until now, pretenders have largely stood shoulder to shoulder with those saints who truly have faith, but in the midst of trial a separation manifests. Aaron and I pray that your faith will not fail, as the Lord did for Peter when Satan was granted permission to sift him like wheat.

The enemy has, in this recent ritual season that has seen two notable celestial events aiding their cause, received a substantial upgrade, and this has been duly noted by perceptive saints who have been engaged in the spiritual battle. The Lord's provision of armor and weaponry is adequate for the task, but yet there are casualties, there have been some and there will be many more. Pray, with diligence, as the Lord leads, and wield your weapons of warfare (that are not carnal) with authority. Expect Him to bare His mighty arm and yet also to withhold it as it pleases Him, not you. If you have accepted His invitation to become a sacrifice, that's an honor and a commitment that is real and binding, and whatever He requires of you and yours is His to do with as He wills. Do not yield to the temptation to draw back.

Here's a kind of an overarching sign of the times, received at a fit moment. According to the Social Security Administration, Top baby names for 2013: “Noah sailed past Jacob to become the most popular baby name for boys in 2013, ending Jacob's 14-year run at the top.” These are the days of the coming of the son of man, and quite literally also the days of Noah when that very name has become preeminent.

For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. ~ Matthew 24:37

As you should know, the well-kept secret underlying that example involves advance knowledge of the timing of the impending events. This announcement about the emergence of the name of Noah comes today, on May 9, in this season when we are on watch specifically for signs of the coming flood of Noah's day! Indicators suggest May 17-18 for what corresponds to the flood, and the potential for a 7 day advance notice has been suggested for related watching, which is May 10-11.

The most popular girl's name for 3 years running is “Sophia.” Given how relevant the male name is, let's consider the import of the female counterpart. Sophia “Means "wisdom" in Greek. This was the name of an early, probably mythical, saint who died of grief after her three daughters were martyred. Legends about her probably arose as a result of a medieval misunderstanding of the phrase Hagia Sophia "Holy Wisdom", which was the name of a large basilica in Constantinople.” (source) As recently published to the blog (City of Blood - Signaling the Black Awakening) another name sign relating to martyrdom of the saints was brought to our attention, Sebastian, Sebastian Blood, from a Arrow episode. Sophia is exalted as the personification of wisdom and worshiped by those on the left hand path. But the Greek word sophia is also used in the Bible.

For this reason also the wisdom of God said, ‘I will send to them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and some they will persecute, ~ Luke 11:49

It may be said that wisdom dictates (the wisdom of God) that we give attention to the name signs of the times.

In the image used as the default in the slideshow on the myfoxny article linked, we see a striking image of a blue baby. Blue is typically identifying a male, in the context, but a blue baby being born is a bad sign. It is the sign of oxygen deficiency, which may signal cyanotic heart defects or it may be due to suffocation, which will quickly result in dire consequences. There's a sign. Babies are born when the mother's water breaks, producing a flood, if you will.

The Russell Crowe film, Noah, is still playing at the local theater. There are genetic aspects to the flood operations of our day, and a genetic breakthrough has just been announced that has unavoidable post-human implications.

I remain confident that we are crossing over a threshold of major transition, convinced by the biblical evidence, the way of the Lord's working with me, personally, and with Aaron, with the faithfulness of the Lord to prepare us and others of His people, and encouraged by the attending signs. The Lord has opened our eyes to see what was, what is, and what is coming. Our expectation and eager anticipation is built upon promises that have been fulfilled and are being fulfilled, and beyond this life and, yes, in this life, are based upon promises that are yet unfulfilled. That's why it's faith and hope.

I'll list some of these below in the interesting of mutual watching. For those of you who participate in and support this activity, I am grateful for your efforts. Before I offer that content I want to offer a brief review of the basis for why I have come to expect what I do at this present time. We are in a very special week of years. We learn about how events the flood of Noah projects very specifically into this week based upon patterns of similitude, counts and a fundamental celestial sign, which is according to the ways familiar to those who account time as the Lord directs in the Bible. Psalm 90:4 establishes the pattern that invites us, with a mathematical precision, to identify the point of alignment within the seven - provided we can identify the year that corresponds to the second millennium from Creation. This requires that we can properly identify our year with correct end points, and that we can properly identify the week within which this unit exists. The week is identified by counting off from the celestial sign of 1991. It's the long running Shemitah count, and the week of note is the 4th in sequence counted off from that Yom Teruah. This 2nd year was observed as beginning on September 8, 2013. It is likely to be about a 384 day long year, and using the ratio of when the flood of Noah's occurred, the 18th of May, 2014 is thus brought to our attention. The flood of Noah's day began on the 17th day of the 2nd month, and that will be the 17th of May, 2014, a day earlier. Notable. Noah knew exactly when to expect when it would begin, having been involved in the ark's construction and preparation, which gave him a pretty reasonable gauge of readiness, and also having been told the very day the flood would come 7 days in advance.

According to the Lord's subtle promise, as it was in the days of Noah, some will know of key events and even their timing in advance. We have promises, dear friends. Many of these are quite subtle, but they are legitimate, and they are ours.

Of note, this just in (Thanks John), from the web log of Dr. Steven Jones, which I have not been following. I consider this as a notable independent witness. His watch dates are given as May 10, 14/15, 18.

From Two visions of the New World Order:

“In conclusion, it appears that some key events are just now happening behind the scenes which will seal the doom of the Western power brokers of Babylon. Pastor Lindsay Williams reported a few days ago that he received an email from one of those power brokers, saying:

“The Elite are instituting drastic measures which will be implemented immediately. The world as we know it will never be the same again. Expect catastrophic events in the monetary world, nature and the Elite expect divine repercussions.”

It is unclear what that means, but the “Elite” are the leaders of Babylon. What is it that just occurred that would induce them to implement “drastic measures” immediately, knowing that this will cause “catastrophic events in the monetary world”? It is obviously a reaction to some great loss of power in the battle between East and West.

It is also unclear why he used the word “nature,” unless they are planning to use their HAARP technology to cause severe weather problems or a catastrophic earthquake.

We can only guess why “the Elite expect divine repercussions.” From our definition of the terms, we might interpret this as divine judgments in the earth upon Babylon. But if they consider themselves to be gods, this email could refer to their own ability to cause catastrophic events against their own enemies.

Whatever the case, we should be watchful in the days ahead, especially on our own watch dates (May 10, 14/15, 18).”

Bill Clinton Talks Aliens - "They are our neighbors"

When Bill Clinton was interviewed April 2nd on the subject of alien disclosure, the analysis of his body language indicates that he lied. The reverse speech (a term invented by David John Oates) heard when the recording is played backward offers more insight into what he really meant. I analyzed the interview, and based on some highlights from the transcript I made a video, uploading it to my 17Stormy17 account on YouTube.

Bill Clinton closes this commentary. “Think of how all the differences among people on earth would seem small if we felt threatened by a space invader. That's the whole theory of Independence Day. Everybody gets together and makes nice...” Who do you suspect might have been involved with scripting that scenario? This playbook has been around for a while.

Ronald Reagan famously made the same observation when addressing the United Nations General Assembly, September 21, 1987.

“Cannot swords be turned to plowshares? Can we and all nations not live in peace? In our obsession with antagonisms of the moment, we often forget how much unites all the members of humanity. Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize this common bond. I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. And yet, I ask you, is not an alien force already among us? What could be more alien to the universal aspirations of our peoples than war and the threat of war?”

When disclosure is official, the "alien" presence will be undeniable. Will Bill be on hand and actively involved in that day? Watch and see.

The Analysis of Bill Clinton's Interview on UFOs with Jimmy Kimmel is a much longer video but it offers another valuable examination of the interview.

I had first heard of the book "One Second After" during one of Steve Quayle's radio shows and even though my initial inclination was to dismiss it as just another in a long line of "prepper" books that men like Steve love to market I put it on the list of potential purchases in my Amazon "wish list". At the Lord's prompting I purchased the book and while I was not sure what the Lord had in mind it became apparent rather quickly.

"One Second After" is incredibly rich with signaling, NLP, and reads like Satan's playbook in regards to what will soon come to pass. This series of posts breaks down the most pertinent of the signaling elements ranging from the "false flag" attacks, the Black Awakening, pandemics, martial law, "prepper" propaganda, and even the preparation for the arrival of the Antichrist!

Nearly two years ago the Lord had me spend a great deal of time and effort going through William R. Forstchen's book "One Second After." In the Autumn of 2012 I wrote four posts on the book dealing with various pertinent portions of the book that dovetailed with what was going on at the time, and that signaled what will be taking place in the near future.

However, there were facets of the book that the Lord held in abeyance. The Lord has green-lighted part 5 of the series and with everything that Bob has been writing about lately it is right on time! It is no stretch to say that I could take the next three weeks and write 10-15 posts on all of the material that I will be presenting in this one post, but with time being so short that is simply not an option. Indicators of when the Black Awakening will begin point to May 17 and 18. I invite you to press in and get all that the Lord may have for you here.

(As a side note, it is very interesting that the front cover of the book contains the image of an eclipse. We just had a blood moon eclipse and then a full annular eclipse on the 29th of April.)

This post will deal with the elements of the work that deal with the signaling of the Black Awakening, Pandemic disease tied in with the "false flag" events that aid in the bouncing of the United States, and also some rather vivid signaling of the preparing for and arrival of the Antichrist.

On page 209, Forstchen has one of his characters make reference to the Bob Dylan song, “The Times They Are A- Changin',” which features lyrics that read like an anthem of the Satanic counterflood Black Awakening.

In One Second After, all of this happens on “Day 18.”

“People are hungry, scared. We were spoiled unlike any generation in history, and we forgot completely just how dependent we were on the juice following through the wires, the button is doing something when we push them. If only we had some communication. If only we knew that government still worked, could hear a voice that we trusted, that would make all the difference.“

“My grandfather used to tell me how that during the depression the banks started to collapse; there was panic, even if the scent of revolution in air. And then FDR, in just one radio talk, reminded us we were all neighbors, that we needed to cooperate and help each other, and though the depression went on for seven more years, the panic ended,”

This quote from Makala (191):

“Not a word. A helicopter flew over two days ago. You should have seen people. It was like some god was passing by in a floating chariot, everyone with hands raised up, shouting. No, not a word other than the rumors from those passing through. Global war, Chinese invading, help coming from Europe, plagued in Washington, a military coup. A lot of talk now about some religious crazies forming into gangs, claiming it’s the apocalypse and saying either join them or die. It’s all crazy and no one knows more than you or I.”

Here's how some Christians or people labeled Christians are pictured. It's a set-up. Killing those who disagree? Really? As a false flag led by a programmed agent, it's not unlikely.

““Well, that was a disorganized mob. Word is starting to filter in that groups are starting to come together. Most are just scared people banding together for survival and mutual protection, exactly what we are doing here. But some, John, well there’s rumors about cults. A family that was allowed to pass through here yesterday, actually heading east, coming out of Tennessee, said that over by Knoxville there’s a guy claiming this is the start of a Holy war.”

“And let me guess, it’s his vision of holiness you subscribe to or you die.”

Dan nodded his head.

“Says that Jesus appeared to him just before the power went off and gave him his mission, that he is the new John the Baptist preparing the way for the final return. And good God, supposedly there are hundreds now following him and killing those who disagree.”

“Several weeks, that’s all it’s taken.” John sighed.

Dan rested his hand on his shoulder.”

William R. Forstchen - "One Second After" - 213-215

Chaos and opened portals for demonic influence and violence ... these elements should be considered because it's coming.

“About a quarter of the population was antidepressants or antianxiety agents. Prozac, Xanax, Lexapro even just plain old Lithium. Most of these people rushed to the pharmacies and stocked up, but even then, on average a person got at best a thirty-day supply.

“They’re running out now. Withdrawal for some won’t be too bad; for others symptoms will be quite severe, including hallucinations. Compound that with the stress we are under already. As an old time doc I’ll be the first to tell you quite a few on these meds were just mildly neurotic, living in a very pampered society where it was almost obligatory to have some sort of disorder. But seriously, roughly five percent of the population do have severe disorders, and one to two percent have dangerous disorders that include paranoia and the potential for highly aggressive behavior.”

“In other words, expect a lot of insanity.” Tom said.

“You’ll be the one dealing with it,” Kellor replied, “And I think your people better get briefed on it. Not too long ago in our past families suffered with it, keeping their crazy uncle Louies restrained or locked away, or shipping them to hospitals that were indeed snake pits. Where do you think the word bedlam came from? It was the hospital for the insane in eighteenth-century England, and judging by the old prints, a true hellhole.

“We haven’t dealt with this ever since all the modern meds started coming out in the sixties and seventies. That and the changing of laws pretty well stopped involuntary commitment and, except in extreme cases, emptied the hospitals.”

“It was fifty years ago , at least a hundred of our fellow citizens would already be under some form of restraint, either at home or in a state institution. Today they are with us and the medications that kept them somewhat stable are gone. Hundreds more are in varying degrees of instability as well. What I’m trying to get across is that we’ll have upwards of a thousand people in our community experiencing some form of psychological unbalance, not related at all to the crisis but instead to their forced withdrawal from medications. And at least fifty to a hundred will be extremely dangerous, to themselves or to others. Several paranoids, schizophrenics, delusional personalities, and several people living here with criminal pasts who were declared insane, treated, and then released back into the community. I think, Charlie, you are going to have to authorize me to be able to declare people mentally unstable and to then incarcerate them by force. We’ll need to find people to tend to them, and we’ll also have to decide how we deal with food distribution to them.”

Charlie sighed, rubbing his beard, and then nodded.

“I authorize you to have the authority to declare a person to be mentally deranged and to have them incarcerated, if need be against their will or that of the family. Tom, you will be responsible for the arrest. I’ll post the notice later today.”

Kellor nodded.

“I think in at least thirty or forty cases we should move preemptively, meaning now, even if they still have some meds left. As a doctor, I know which of my patients were truly over the edge a long time before this happened. Patients who had repeated hospitalizations and incidents. Tom, you would know some of them too, from incidents that lead to their going to a psychiatric unit or jail. I think we should grab these people now before it gets bad.”

“One thing,” “John said quietly.

“Go on.”

“Keep in the back of our minds how that power was also used to lock up those who neighbors just didn’t like , or political dissenters. And, in a darker time, the belief that insanity was satanic resulted in witch hunts. We have a couple of small churches in this community that are already preaching that this disaster is God’s punishment to a sinful nation, and/or that it is now the end-time. I never thought about what Doc here was saying in regards to mass psychosis, but we might find that some of these deranged people are being seen either as prophets if they have a good gift for gab even though they are crazy or, on the other side, demonically possessed.”

“Damn, this is starting to sound medieval,” Kate sighed.

“We are medieval, Kate. John shot back. “If we have people going off the deep end , or if they definitely have a prior record of severe mental disorder, indeed, we’ll have to lock them up, for everyone’s protection. All we need is a bunch of people following some mad prophet around or a mob stoning a witch, and it could come to that. But it’s a fine line, and we can’t step over it. We all know the news about leaking in from Knoxville about that crazy cult; we don’t want even the beginnings of it here.””

In that, there's more of the set-up of those small church folks who claim it's God's judgment, “mad prophet” followers, painting them as crazy cult witch-hunters and such.

With the Black Awakening will come open cannibalism, which is a satanic sacrament.

““How bad” Washington asked.

“My god, I think they were killing people and eating them,” he whispered.

No one spoke for a moment; Don just stared off, puffing on his cigar right down to the filter.

“You’re kidding,” Charlie whispered.

Don looked over at him fiercely.

“Would I joke about that? He snapped. “There were a couple of hundred vehicles parked on

the grounds of the hospital in a big circle, like they were circling the wagons. Old cars, Jeeps,

trucks, and even a couple of tractor trailers. Inside that circle the ground was blackened from a huge fire that was still smoldering. It was early when I flew over there; you could see them just sprawled out, sleeping it off. The hospital was burning, bodies carpeting the streets. But it was what was inside that circle of old cars, trucks motorcycles…” He finished the cigarette, stubbed it out in an empty coffee cup, and looked appealingly at John. John handed him another and pulled one out for himself; he was down to nine now.

“They had something like gallows set up. Bodies were hanging from it…” Don shook and began to cry. “They were cut open, some without legs and arms. Ten or more like that. Like hogs hung up to be butchered. My God…” He fought for composure. “You could see other people were prisoners. As I went by they were looking up at me. They started to jump up and down, waiving like poor bastards stranded in a nightmare. I side-slipped to get down lower for a closer look. As I flew over one of those scum, I could see him looking up at me, cut a woman’s throat, cut it so I could see it…

“I don’t want to believe what I saw.”

John sighed, then sat back, lost in thought. Cannibalism. Leningrad, Stalingrad, in those cases it was civilians driven mad by hunger. There were reports of it in China as well and, frightfully, documentation of Japanese soldiers doing it either out of desperation when cut off by the island hopping campaign, or as ritual practiced on American POWs.”

“Not here,” Charlie sighed, “not here. This is America, for Heaven’s sake.”

“Yes, here” John said softly. “Why should we be any different?”

“Damn it all, we’re Americans; it just doesn’t happen here.”

“Donner pass, the Essex…Jeffrey Dahmer? Our sick fascination with films about that Lecter character. Sixty days with little or no food just because the electricity suddenly shut off. Hell, yes.” John said coldly.

“Most likely some damn cult down there. Like doc said, psychotics running loose.”

“The cult over in Knoxville, whose leader was proclaiming he was John the Baptist reincarnated, was still running. There were reports of others, some nut case proclaiming he was the messiah, others speaking in tongues and looking for answers in Revelation, others just beyond madness believing aliens had invaded. He thought of that one small coven up above Haw Creek, a couple dozen families and a church, which according to rumors not too long ago was into passing snakes around. They had sealed themselves off completely, said that it was the end-time and God’s wrath was at hand. No one dared to even get within a hundred yards of their barrier now, and John wondered what madness they were practicing up there. “They have nothing to lose now,” John continued. “A nation under martial law, they’ve looted, raped, and murdered. They know that if civilization ever gets the upper hand again, if there’s any semblance of order, all of them will be put against the wall and shot. So there’s nothing to lose. Mix into that the terror of it all. We figured out it was an EMP, but others…especially others who were already off-kilter? What’s the answer? God got angry, Gaia the Earth spirit got pissed, Satan took over?”…

“Satan’s taken over. Maybe whoever is leading them is preaching that. God has turned his back on America, Satan has won, so anything goes. I doubt if all of them are doing it; I want to think most of them are as terrified of whoever is running their crew as we are. But I’m willing to bet whoever is running it is shouting that he has the inside loop from God, Satan, whomever.”

It’s insane,” Charlie whispered.

“Remember Jonestown. Those were Americans, even though they no longer lived in the lower 48. And nearly a thousand of them committed suicide on account of some damn nut case who told them to drink Kool-Aid laced with poison because God ordered him to.

“Look, you get people scared then you knock out every prop that we’ve taken for granted.

After these last sixty days I bet there’s a dozen of prophets running around this country saying, ‘Follow Me’, and even if but one tenth of one percent of the survivors do so, that will be hundreds of thousands of barbarians on the march and the rest of us running, scared shitless of them.””

“Talking about the leader the of the cannibal renegade named “the Posse” “…He might look soft, but they are all really scared of him, even the worst of the lot. They say he claimed to have the inside line with Satan himself, that God had abandoned America and Satan now ruled and he was the appointed one sent from hell to pave the way for Satan’s reign over America.”

“The stories about cannibalism?” John asked.

“They’re all true.”

John walked over to the leader, who gazed at him and then actually smiled.

“So let me guess, you’re the general here?”

John did not reply.

“…I heard about you from a prisoner we took. A sweet girl, captured her yesterday.”

John froze. The girl had most likely been lost in the skirmishing on the dirt road.

“I see a touch of military history in this fight. The la Drang Valley perhaps, lure in, get close up, and envelop? Saw it in a movie and on the History Channel.”

“And you walked right into it,” John said sarcastically.

“Yes, I did, indeed I did. I guess he decided it thus.”

“He?”

“Satan of course.”

The manor turned and looked at the other prisoners.

“Did I not tell you that if you failed to offer your souls to him fully and in all things he would abandon you? Now you are indeed doomed to the fiery pit of hell. For God has cursed this world, and because you failed me, Satan shall turn away from thee as well. Your reign by his side will be replaced by eternal punishment for your lack of faith.

“These dogs will show you no mercy. Rather than feasting tonight on their flesh, as Satan wished for you, instead you will be carrion for the dogs and crows…or perhaps…”

He looked over shiftily at John. “…they will feast on your flesh.”

John, his Glock half-raised, was tempted to blow the man’s brains out right there.

The other prisoners looked at him wide-eyed. Some started to cry; others knelt down, heads lowered, resigned to their fate.

It was so damn strange, John thought, how sometimes the most unlikely people, an ugly little man like this one, could hold such power. So strange how some had that, and could spout utter insanity that others would follow blindly.”

“Cannibals,” John said coldly.

The man looked up at him, his face twisted into a smile that seemed almost warm and friendly.

“My friend, you know enough to understand that this nation is doomed except for those chosen few with the strength to live. The flesh of the weak is the holy sacrament to us, the living. We need it to survive and to have strength, to allow us our triumph of the will.”

He looked away from John and back to his surviving followers.

“For I have walked up and down and to and fro across the land and have considered this country that once was. Remove thy hand from it, protect it not, and the land that once worshipped thee will curse thee. And thus it was true and the land is now indeed cursed and we are the ones sent forth to cleanse it.”

He then looked back at John.

“That girl that was captured yesterday. She was indeed sweet, the best I think I’ve had. Well fed before she became our sacrament.

“You know the natives of New Guinea used to call their foes ‘long pork’. Well-fed flesh actually tastes like that…pork.”

John raised his Glock, the muzzle touching the man’s forehead.

“Go on you bastard,” he whispered. “Be like me; drink my blood once I am dead as I would have drunk yours. I know you are hungry. You do it, and all who follow you will join in, for they are hungry too.””

“Consumption of blood and flesh, performed in a communion-like fashion, is usually an integral part of ritual sacrifice” (Ritual Abuse: What is it? Why it happens? How to help by Margaret Smith – Page 78)

“There’s a cult that has taken over parts of three states in the Rockies. Their leader claims he’s the Messiah and when the world is saved all the lights will come back on, and tens of thousands now follow him.

“The Posse you faced? There’s one like it ten thousand strong that still rules Pittsburgh and raids a hundred miles out in every direction. We’re getting set to stamp it out, but it will be as bad as anything we faced in Iraq several years back . . . and my God, these were once our own people. I lost eight, killed wiping out a nest of them in the ruins of High Point three days ago.

“Oh, we might of gotten even , John, but America a world power? They won; we’re finished. We’ve retreated from around the world, trying to save what’s left, and for those that hated us that’s victory even if we flattened their country in retaliation, and John, frankly, we might never know who really did it to start with.

“There were no red meatballs, swastikas, or red stars on planes dropping bombs this time. Just three missiles launched from freighters out in the ocean, which then were blown up.

“My God, there’s maybe two hundred and fifty million dead in America alone, as bad, maybe worse than any Dr. Strangelove nightmares we talked about during the Cold War. We were so damn vulnerable, so damn vulnerable, and no one did the right things to prepare, or prevent it.

“We’re back a hundred and fifty years.”

“No, not a hundred and fifty years,” John sighed. “Make it more like five hundred. People alive in 1860, they knew how to live in that time; they had the infrastructure. We don’t. Turn off the lights, stop the toilets from getting water to flush, empty the pharmacy, turn off the television to tell us what to do.”

He shook his head.

“We were like sheep for the slaughter then.”

““Why I wanted this alliance,” Carl said. “You’re our back door. You let them in, we will be swamped. We’ll be caught between Asheville on the one side and those folks on the other. They’ll eat us clean in a day.”

“Disease as well,” Kellor interjected.

“I thought you said we have that already?” Carl asked.

Kellor sighed and shook his head. “Salmonella, that’s lurking in any community. I’m talking about the exotics now. Large urban population. You’ll have carriers of hepatitis in every variant. What scares the hell out of me is a recent immigrant from overseas or someone stranded at the airport in Charlotte, which is a major hub. He might look well and feel well, but inside he might be carrying typhoid, cholera, you name it.

“We got one of those in a crowd , given sanitation for those people walking here? Just simple hand contact or fecal to water supply or food distribution supply contact and that bacteria will jump. We give someone a plate of food, they haven’t washed their hands, we don’t clean that plate with boiling water, and within a week thousands will be sick and dying.

“You ever seen cholera?” Kellor asked.

No one spoke. “I did thirty years back. A mission trip to Africa. It makes salmonella look tame. People in those regions, most of them were exposed to it at some point in their lives and survived. We’re wide open to it. We are six, seven generations removed from it and we have no natural immunity. America is like an exotic hothouse plant. It can only live now in the artificial environment of vaccinations, sterilization, and antibiotics we started creating a hundred or more years ago.

“We’re about to get reintroduced to life as it is now in Africa or most of the third world. Not counting the global flu outbreak of 1918, the last really big epidemic, one that killed off a fair percentage of a population in a matter of weeks, well, I think it was the Chicago typhoid epidemic back in the 1880s that killed tens of thousands. Water supply got polluted with typhoid and they died like flies. It made the famous fire pale in comparison when it came to body count.”

“Well, we were letting folks through a hundred a time, again your suggestion, good professor. It was going slow, though, and now the refugees from Winston-Salem, Charlotte , Greensboro, even some from as far as Durham were piling up on that road. God, John, it’s positively medieval down on that road. Squatters’ camps, people fighting for a scrap of food. Disease breaking out, mostly salmonella, pneumonia, a nasty variant of the flu.”

“Strength will be impacted significantly and I want to talk more about that in a few minutes. For the general population on rations the impact is going to start kicking in within the next couple of weeks. Immunological systems in everybody are weakening, meaning if that flu down in Old Fort gets up here, it will be like the 1918 epidemic that killed nearly two million in America. I’d estimate ten percent of us dying in a matter of days if flu breaks out. I think, Charlie, that we will have to shut down our free passage through the gap or change the procedure. Lord knows how many flu carriers are walking along our interstate every day heading west.” Charlie sighed and looked over at John and Tom. “We do that,” Tom said, “there’ll be more riots. Getting those people moving further west has prevented any more problems since the big riot of two weeks back.” “I agree with Tom,” John said. “Block the barrier, we’ll have a buildup of a couple of thousand again within days, even more desperate than the first wave, and it will be a bloody fight. Let them through, but drill our people on extra caution.” “They’re wearing the hazmat suits already,” Charlie said. “Yeah, and most likely taking them off with their bare hands, not washing down properly.” He sighed. “It’ll most likely jump no matter what we do. People are not just staying on the roads; they’re crawling up through the woods.”

“John, we’re going to have a terrible problem in a few days.” “What? What after this?” “Disease. I was up at the battle site after you pushed them back from the bridge. Saw some of the Posse. Talked to a few of them before . . .” His voice trailed away. “Before Tom’s men shot them.” “Go on.” “John, their camp was loaded with disease. Flu, hepatitis, I think some exotics as well, typhoid perhaps. You look at their bodies you could see they weren’t much better off than the people they were terrorizing. I think we’re going to have some kind of epidemic here in a matter of days and it will be far worse than the last one. All that blood splattered about, many of them obviously drug users, we might be looking at hep B and C, maybe even HIV.”

“Those of John’s troops who were still left were indeed hardened now. Regarding Kellor’s prediction about another epidemic, he had been right. Days after the battle, what some were now calling the plague month began. There were nearly three thousand new graves at the golf course, one of them for Doc Kellor. The medical staff had been particularly hard-hit; there were only two doctors and one vet remaining . It had indeed been like the plague in years of old, most physicians heroically standing to their duty until they were felled, but one had just fled, hiding in his cabin, and was now an outcast, the town pariah. The simple combination of disease and starvation had created a death rate as terrible as that of the Black Death of the fourteenth century. Added in were hundreds with hepatitis A, others carrying B and C, which would kick in later, the usual injuries, the minor cuts that led to amputation and death. It was the dying-off time and by yesterday’s count just over forty percent of the two communities, which had been alive little more than four months back, were still alive. As a war, it was the most horrific since the Middle Ages. The legendary twenty-five million dead in the Soviet Union during World War II had been but one-seventh its population.”
