On 27 October 2009, police in Islamabad caught four Americans photographing sensitive buildings.
The four were dressed in traditional Afghan outfits and were found to be in possession of illegal weapons and explosives.
The police held the Americans in custody for an hour but the Interior Ministry ordered them released without charge.
Days before this incident involving the Americans, the Islamabad Police arrested two Dutchmen with illegal weapons. They were released after the Interior Ministry and the US embassy intervened. - Daily Mirror Online
