To determine whether these numbers are truly significant, you would neeed to demonstrate a higher than expected statistical correlation between "events of significance" (chosen in an objective manner) and the dates on which they occur.
Rational epistemology, statistical inference and the scientific method are the only things that distinguish a fool from a visionary.
That said, I agree with these suspicions:

Hmmmm....interesting Aangirfan.
I've been in forums where maths rules. And I was merely studying Aztec blood-rituals and sex-rites! Everything in the universe is maths, they said, everything is programmed. We are all made from cosmic dust collected together in groups decided by algorythms. Algorythms are numbers (letters are numbers) numbers are merely combinations of 1 and 0 (off and on, to be or not to be). There are only a small number of numbers, combinations of numbers, noughts and ones, thus all of these combinations repeat themselves billions of times in the universe.
So it is logical various numbers will seem to match various situations.
You can fiddle numbers to suit whatever agenda you are on. Ask any chartered accountant ...or hi-flyer investor. They do it all the time. It's all hype and numbers, there's no actual money behind it!
Prince William appeared with dark hair on the cover of Hello magazine issue 1111, on 22nd February last year.

Here's two other occult numbers featuring in the disaster in Japan.
7 (perfection) and 555 (ultimate death).
The earthquake came 7 years to the day or 2555 days after the Madrid Train Bombings.
Someone may have been making a point here.

Flight 587 crashed into Queens less than a month after the 9/11 WTC apparently 'predicted' event.
I have to say , yes, we can find connexions in many things, many 'hits' while ignoring the 'misses' , though I find the above a bit of a headshaker.
The number 911 also has the back-up of the Emergency number many are familair with so it seems to strengthen this date.
Is it deliberate? How can it be. it seems far too unlikely yet there are many things I'm not the slightest bit aware of.
