A Liberian story ...
My brother-in-law's father was a successful local doctor ("Doc" he was known by) and a good guy who upon retirement decided to give back.
Using mostly his own money and with help from his Methodist church, he and his wife moved to a rural area in Liberia where with much help from the locals there built a small clinic and he became the only doctor for many miles around for about 4 years. Electricity was not all that reliable and it wasn't easy.
They took under their wing a bright young fellow, an orphan, who became their assistant and he learned fast.
In late 1989 the situation was becoming tense and they returned home to the states.
The young man essentially became the 'doctor' and continued with the clinic.
During the ensuing civil war the clinic was burned and the young man killed. It was devastating news for "Doc" and his wife.
So apparently this small tale of death and destruction, among many like it, can be attributed directly to the CIA.

These are very unsavory connections.
Ones, that if fully able to document, go a long way to publically denounce both the CIA and the Israeli government.
25 years ago, the U. S. government and public were much more circumspect of Israel.
Reagan would not appear at the yearly AIPAC conference as opposed to now when it would cause a scandal if the president didn't make an appearance and speech.
Sadly, the Republican Party has come under the influence of the Israeli government and Zionist Jewish-Americans, the "Israel lobby".
There are many good patriotic Jewish-Americans who are not Zionists.
I take a dim view of "divided loyalties", and many so-called "conservatives" now appear to have just that, "divided loyalty", as they take an "Israel First" approach to foreign policy.
I don't believe in collective punishment and there are millions of innocent Israelis, but the Israeli government is criminal.
If I can come up with a strategy, or series of proofs, exposing the divided loyalties of these so-called "conservatives", I would use it.
Why do I say so-called "conservatives"? Because their real ideology is War Hawk.
I've had discussions with them. Facts & evidence don't matter, their War Ideology will not admit facts & evidence which contradict this War Ideology.
Limited government, the Constitution, and budget deficits don't matter if it conflicts with their War Ideology. You can repeatedly present facts, issues, and knowlegable experts, which point out the fallacies of their war ideology, but war Hawks just ignore these items if it conflcts with their War Hawk ideology.
All are Israeli Firsters.
They are dangerous.
The War Hawks are desperate to attack Iran.
Not all conservatives in the U. S. are War Hawks, many rank-n-file conservatives are not War Hawks.
But most of the opinion leaders are War Hawks and almost all big time conservative radio talk show hosts are War Hawks and many of the small fry hosts are too.
It is a dangerous situation in the United States right now because many of the followers of these radio hosts get brainwashed by the constant War Hawk propaganda these hosts put out.
