A new study in the USA has found that the wealthy are 'more likely to lie, cheat and break the law'.

The study is reported in the American journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences
The researchers suggest that the rich tend to be more greedy, more selfish and more unscrupulous.
The study found that wealthy drivers were four times as likely as less well off drivers to cut up other vehicles by barging their way across a junction.
The rich were also less likely to stop for a pedestrian who was trying to cross the road.
In another study, a group of volunteers played a computer game.
The wealthiest were more likely to cheat.
"When presented with a jar of sweets destined for youngsters helping in a nearby lab and told they could have some, the richest helped themselves the most."
Paul Piff, of the University of California, Berkeley, said "the recent economic crisis has been attributed in part to the unethical actions of the wealthy."

It blows me away that money and time should be wasted on such obvious observations!
Noor beat me to the punch! I was going to say that I could have told you that. But still, to shove it in their faces in an unambiguous fashion like this is a thing worth doing.
As ever, there is only selfishness and selflessness and when human behaviour is viewed through this lens everything becomes obvious.

This turns the truth on its head. The reality is that the greedy and selfish are "more likely" (i.e. certain) to be wealthy. In other words you don't become greedy and selfish by being wealthy - you become wealthy by being greedy and selfish. As the old saying goes, no fortune was ever made honestly.
