Chapman didn't kill Lennon.
The doorman did.
He was a CIA Bay of Pigs Veteran named José Perdomo, the only eyewitness to the crime and his first words to Chapman when someone else arrived were:
"Do you know what you've done?"
Chapman: "Yes, I just shot John Lennon".
Chapman himself has no direct memory of shooting John and just repeats what he has been told.
Not Lennon was shot but a Lennon double/impersonator. It was all about a black psyop/distraction....
