THE FILM HATED BY THE RICH ELITE
It's a Wonderful Life.
The 1946 film It’s a Wonderful Life was hated by the rich elite.
In this film, a banker called Henry Potter is portrayed as a greedy and evil thief.
The rich elite, and the FBI, labeled the film as possible 'communist' propaganda.
Among the most powerful people who tried to present the film as 'communist' was the American fascist friend of the elite known as Ayn Rand.
Ayn Rand did not believe in the Christian idea of sacrificing oneself for others. [98]
Ayn Rand, whose’s first love and mentor was a sadistic serial killer who dismembered little girls. The Satanist Anton LaVey has acknowledged that his brand of Satanism was "just Ayn Rand’s philosophy with ceremony and ritual added."SATANISTS AND THE CIA
Ayn Rand portrayed the Israelis as "civilized men fighting savages".[74]
Ayn Rand always portrayed the rich elite as the oppressed. [167]
It's a Wonderful Life.
The Nation explained that there were similarities between Rand's ideas and fascism.[174]
It's a Wonderful Life
According to an FBI file:
The film represented an attempt to discredit bankers by portraying the banker Henry Potter as 'scrooge-type'.
"In addition, (REDACTED) stated that, in his opinion, this picture deliberately maligned the upper class, attempting to show the people who had money were mean and despicable characters.
Those who supported the idea that there was communist infiltration included various friends of the CIA including: Walt Disney and Ronald Reagan.
It's a Wonderful Life
Giving evidence to the House Un-American Activities Committee film critic John Charles Moffitt testified: "I would right now like to defend one picture that I think has been unjustly accused of communism.
"That picture is Frank Capra's It’s a Wonderful Life.
"The hero and his father, played by James Stewart and Samuel S. Hines, were businessmen, in the building and loan business, and they were shown as using money as a benevolent influence...
"I think Mr. Capra’s picture... showed that the power of money can be used oppressively and it can be used benevolently. I think that picture was unjustly accused of communism."
It is one of my favourite movies. It is an enlightened movie that shows how precious everyone is and how fragile the frontier is can be between evil and good and the two facets in everything especially when dealing with money : unfortunately most people tend to chose the dark side for temporary richness and power. Best wishes for all
Here in the US has anyone stopped to wonder how it is that despite the anti communist hysteria prior to say the tearing down of the Berlin Wall our democratic republic government just grows bigger and bigger and bigger?
Keep your eyes on the bouncing ball girls and boys. While we were fighting the battle they have been winning their Fabian war of gradualism.
Remember communism was Marx's ideal. utopia . And what is the literal definition of Utopia? nowhere. That is right girls and boys because it does not exist.
But what does exist on the way to a Marxian utopia? Socialism. And it's always pitched as a freely good thing for the masses. This time around its green and sustainable. And empathetic
But whatever the propaganda calls it it is always a merging of the richest in a nation and the state. The winners in socialism are the members of whatever elite class is in power at that time. They develop public private partnerships with government. It's quite cozy.
Political wonks and their cronies and the richest corporatists they do business with never lack for a thing. The rest of us live with the warmth of satisfying relationships. Just like in its a wonderful life.
The Fabians and Marx always saw the western and wealthy nations as the ultimate goal of completing the cycle of socialist rule. Our wealth and technological growth are key in implementing their goals.
There has to be something to confiscate after all .
We have been magnificently played. Capitalism. + communism = Communitarianism (socialism)
No, I don't care for Ayn Rand. She was an angry hypocrite but growing up as she did under socialism I can see why she was very mistrustful of state directed anything.
Her reaction to an over reaching government was a knee jerk reaction to living under a system of control which mandated that the individual should be subservient to the group.
Such belief is the antithesis of the American Constitution by th way.
Ayn Rand and others miss the point entirely. The elite and the state are one and the same in the trajectory that is being planned for us. The capitalism we live under currently and have lived under since the creation of the fed is nothing more than state capitalism.
My point is that I'm not an anarchist. I'm a minarchist. And what is funny is that I grew up as a Quaker. I voted liberal democrat my whole life. But I see the erosion of personal liberties in the name of the communitarian common good as a serious problem.
We are entering the dark ages if people don't wise up fast.
Just wanted to say thanks for all the insightful articles you have posted over the last year. Keep up the good work and have a good one! Carl (The Truth Seeker's Guide)
I read her novel The Fountainhead when I was nineteen living in Las Vegas in the spring of 63. Then I read maybe 3 or 4 chapters of Atlas Shrugged Not that she had no valid points but that she was unreadably whiny. Thanks for the blogs, links etc... Unify. 124c41...
The descendants of Ham and the Canaanites hate anything good...we have been asleep at the wheel so to speak for aeons....it maybe too late. Ayn Rand...'Limited Hangout' for the Corporations....
I took objectivism to refer to a naturalistic worldview that combines with elements of humanism. I did not see Ayn as someone who advocate for the wealthy elites per se. I think she advocated that anyone can become wealthy and that they should not be criticized because they became wealthy.
Ayn Rand said her philosphy consists of three things: reality, reason, self-interest. LeVey says his religion consists of myth, ritual and ceremony, self-interest. Both ideas are limited but all LeVey did is hijack the structure of Ayn Rand's secular morality and then undo one of the main aspects of her philosophy by reattaching it to religion.
It is not money that is the root of evil, but the LOVE of money. In this film, Capra plainly shows the difference between two men, both with money... the one who loves the money for its own sake, the other who loves it for what it can do to help others. And THAT is what gets the fascists, communists, collectivists, socialists, all with knotted knickers. Their end is to have wealth under their control, no longer at the free will of those who manage to get it.
Free will and truth-saying must be stopped at all costs to those who slaver at the thought of all of us slaves serving only the self-chosen ones.
Their stealth is so stunning it is time for those of us who see it to stop tip toeing around the egg shells, as we were taught 2000plus years ago.
What percentage of Aangirfan traffic expresses a sense of 'belonging' to these convent girls and their blog site?
The other day on Oz free to air television I felt like puking as I watched a female historian from some British uni tell the viewers in la la land that one of the things the Roman Empire got right was to instil in its citizens a sense of belonging.

Don't be fooled.
Anon at 3:58 PM,
You sound like you are not a fan of this film and that you would have agreed with Ayn Rand?

And I love the film. Nothing is black and white.

Why don't you just say the Jewish elite hate this film.
It shows white anglo-saxons acting in a dignified, community orientated, selfless, family-centred, non-consumerist manner.
These are the polar opposite of the values which the Jewish elite have - hugely successfully - tried to inculcate in the non-Jewish population.

"It's a wonderful life!"
This joie de vivre is life, the opposite of the hopeless misery and fear that the elite wish to project and for us to absorb like so many sponge bobs.
No wonder they hate it. The very name is anathema.
Happy Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the students, staff, parents, and friends.
Last year certainly was and no doubt the new year will be too. Who could ask for more.
Best regards and long may you all etc. etc.
