Police chief Hemant Karkare, who was killed in the 2009 Mumbai attacks, had discovered that Lt.Col. Srikant Purohit, of Indian military intelligence, had got 60 kg of RDX explosive from government supplies for use in the terrorist attack on the Samjhauta Express train in February 2007. The red design in the centre is the odd one out. The others are all in pairs of equals and pairs of opposites.

1. The red center: the reason is that it is the only one with red curves on top. (all other combos of blue/ red and curve/ straight /open on top, bottom, and side are not unique)

... oops, correction. The answer is bottom-red-right. Reason: It is only red one with nothing on the left side.
1) The centre pattern is the odd one out. It's the only one not on the edge.
Moreover, it's the oddest of the odd: there's an odd number of arches, whereas the others are even; the arches are the only curvilinear figures; and the oddest of the arches is the red one.
2) B is correct. Aggregate happiness is meaningless. Only individual happiness has direct meaning. Justice and compassion are achieved when any one soul would be happy to have done unto it what is done to any other soul.
3) John Smith is an antipodean.
4) All of them except February. (Although some have the 30 and an extra one.)
5) Knowing British intel, I'd say both.
6) B is more often passed over as it does not mesh with the standard worldview, and hence is immediately rejected as not worth reading.
7) Yes. But remember there's government and there's government. Often the elected government has little idea of the activities of the secret government, the intelocracy.

I'm very clever so I got them all right. And what with being very well adjusted and not needing anyone's approval I shan't bother submitting my answers here. Just take it as read.
Very good. Off I go to find some other place where I shall inevitably be right once more. In some ways being right all the time is a burden but when you're as clever and fortunate as I am one finds a way to carry on. Bless you all.
