Here, we shall continue on to the next chapter in this series with chapter four and its documentation of Jesus’ meeting with the Samaritan woman at the well. Before beginning, let us again remind ourselves of a phenomenon that occurs within the pages of this sacred writ that we know as the Bible – a phenomenon that points us to the Providential and Divinely orchestrated structure of this book – as with all books of the Bible.

THE MEETING WITH NICODEMUS: A WARNING TO ALL

In the previous article in our on-going study of the book of John, we finished with our examination of chapter 2. Here, we continue our study with an examination of the third chapter. Before proceeding with this study, it would be of tremendous value to reexamine a phenomenon that points us to the Providential and Divinely orchestrated structure of this book – as with all books of the Bible. In doing so, one will discover that the meaning of each individual letter of the Hebrew alphabet corresponds with the subject matter or theme of each chapter of the book of John respectively.

THE DEITY OF CHRIST 3: THE TESTIMONY OF JOHN THE BAPTIST

In our on-going chapter-by-chapter exploration of the book of John, we have previously been exploring the Deity of Christ. In part 1, we examined His warning. In part 2, we explored the Primeval Light and Jesus declaration that He is the “Light of the World.” Here, in part 3, we shall endeavor to continue to examine the first chapter of John’s Gospel with the introduction of John the Baptist and his witness to that very same “light” we explored previously – Christ’s Deity.

John the Baptist was no ordinary man. The Apostle John reveals him to be “sent from God.” His birth, though not on the order and same plain of Jesus’ incarnation, was, nevertheless, supernatural …

“There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light” (John 1:6-8).

THE DEITY OF CHRIST 2: THE LIGHT

In the previous installment, the deity and warning of Christ was covered. We shall continue that subject here by embarking upon the examination of the first chapter of the book of John in our chapter-by-chapter study of this intriguing and supremely important book of the Bible.

We are all familiar with the opening verses of the Gospel of John (book of John). Many Christians have memorized them. This Gospel is so popular, it is printed in booklets and given away as tracts, and sometimes given to new converts. But do you know just what John meant when he introduced Jesus as the “Word“? John was telling us that Jesus is God – the Creator of the material universe and the giver of all life, both plant and animal, temporal and eternal …

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:1-3).

Berkley Mickelsen, hermeneutics “designates both the science and art of interpretation. The Greek verb hermeneuo means ‘to interpret or explain.’ The Greek noun hermeneia means ‘interpretation.’ In both the Greek counterpart and the contemporary technical term, interpretation has to do with meaning” (A.B. Mickelsen, Interpreting the Bible, page 3).

RAPTURE WATCH 2022 SIGNS: THE 3, 30, 24 AND 90 BALAAMIC FIG TREE PROPHECY CODES

We are finally here. The much anticipated year of 2022 has finally arrived. It is the year that, in careful biblical study and observation among Bible scholars, exhibits much prophetic promise in the way of anticipating Jesus’ return in the clouds to rapture home those who have personally received him before the first seal judgment of the Tribulation strikes the earth. Regardless of whether or not it happens this year, we will continue to watch and observe the signs that present to us the very strong possibility of not only this year (2022) being the year that kicks off the events that the biblical prophets warned us about long ago, but also for the coming next few years that shall, in due time, show as much promise as this year is currently showing should we still be here. But make no mistake, the signs that are emerging are plenty and getting more obvious by the day that there is not much time left. So, with that said, let’s now dig in and see what we find on our watching journey.

PSALM 90:13 BALAAMIC RAPTURE PROPHECY ALERT: WILLIAM SHATNER LAUNCHES INTO OUTER SPACE AT 90 YEARS OLD ON THE 13TH OF OCTOBER

Many may not understand what a Balaamic prophecy actually is. In short, it is the idea that God is sovereign over all of creation and can (and does) speak through anything or situation that he chooses. We see this demonstrated in the Bible many times – one of which is documented in Numbers chapter 22 when the Lord spoke to Balaam through his donkey (see here). Another more recent example can be seen through a Massachusettes man who got gulped by a whale earlier this year back in the month of July. When one observes the details of that story, it can be noticed that there are several biblical peculiarities related to not only the biblical Jonah and the whale story, but peculiarities are also seen in the numbers associated with this incident indicating a prophetic sign of the end times (see story here). Many prophetic Bible scholars and expositors are observing that God can (and is) speaking to humanity today and, specifically the Church, that the rapture is soon to take place and judgment is about to strike the earth in what the Bible refers to as the seven -year Tribulation Period.
