ENCROACHING DARKNESS: THE PHILADELPHIAN THREAT AND THE EXODUS PROMISE

“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, … I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth” (Revelation 3:7,10).

On Thursday night, September 1, 2022, President “Joseph” Biden was propped up behind the presidential seal in front of historic Independence Hall and gave the most bombastic, provocative, melodramatic and divisive speech that many may feel tempted to compare with Hitler. Personally, I did not watch it as I cannot stand the sight or sound of the man (much like Barack Obama). Or most any of them for that matter. But these two especially (how’s that for honesty). But for the sake of what God is doing in the earth and the incredible signs of warning that He is sending out to not only the born again Church globally, but also the lost world at large, this speech and the bigger picture of what it represents combined with its location begins to take on a life of its own prophetically speaking. It makes those whose spiritual ears are attuned and spiritual eyes affixed look at this event and recognize it for what it is – a God-given sign of what is shortly to come.

PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE TAUGHT BY THE EARLY CHURCH: APPROACHING THE RED SEA MT. SINAI EXODUS DEPARTURE MOMENT

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).

Many of us who are watching the signs of the times that are indicating the arrival of the end times and eventual rapture of the true church have likely heard the refrain and doubt of its reality from the rapture skeptics before. Many who do not believe in the rapture under-gird their opinion by proclaiming that John Nelson Darby, who was a founder of the Plymouth Brethren Church, an author and an influential proponent of a dispensational view of Scripture, first came up with the idea of a pre-tribulation rapture in 1820.

RAPTURE WATCH 2022 SIGNS 2: UNDERSTANDING TYPES AND SYMBOLS IN LIGHT OF PSALM 122 “ASCENSION” YEAR

If you are concerned about rightly dividing the word of God, then you are involved with a subject biblical scholars call hermeneutics. According to Dr. A. Berkley Mickelsen, hermeneutics “designates both the science and art of interpretation. The Greek verb hermeneuo means ‘to interpret or explain.’ The Greek noun hermeneia means ‘interpretation.’ In both the Greek counterpart and the contemporary technical term, interpretation has to do with meaning” (A.B. Mickelsen, Interpreting the Bible, page 3).

THE TWO WITNESSES: THE 42 CODE AND AMERICA’S 42ND PRESIDENCY

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed with sackcloth” (Revelation 11:3).

As we’ve already shared in another article of this series in our exploration of the book of Revelation, the mighty angel of chapter 10 is still speaking to the Apostle John. The scene has not changed. Previously, it was noted that the open scroll in his hand identifies him as Christ, though he is not so named. As noted and expounded upon in the previous article of this series, John is told by this mighty angel (Christ) to measure the temple of God and the altar along with those who are worshipping therein, but to not measure the court outside of the temple. This Temple is of course the much talked-about coming third temple that will be rebuilt that the Antichrist sits in during the Tribulation and will commit what the book of Daniel refers to as the “abomination of desolation.” As he speaks here, we have a further indication of his identity. PREPARING TO RIDE – THE SEALS OF THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder …” (Revelation 6:1).

At this point in the Revelation narrative, we have seen the Church Age come and go in the Seven Church Ages in the Dispensation of Grace. This Age of Grace concluded with the departure of all true born-again believers in Christ off of the earth in Revelation 4:1 before judgment struck the earth.

All of those who personally received Christ while on Earth during the Age of Grace are now in Heaven receiving (or in some cases losing) reward for their service performed (or not performed) for the Lord while on Earth during the time they were in their earthly bodies …

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).

With that understood, it is most interesting to observe the divine and supernaturally influenced structure of the Bible that displays a providential fingerprint of authenticity. We see that fingerprint of authenticity on clear display when reading the judgments of the book of Revelation. As such, it should make it that much more certain in anyone’s mind that these judgments are certain to come to pass according to God’s prophetic plan as displayed in this most fearful and important book. A WICKED AND ADULTEROUS GENERATION

“The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven. He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
