THE TWO WITNESSES: THE 42 CODE AND AMERICA’S 42ND PRESIDENCY

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed with sackcloth” (Revelation 11:3).

As we’ve already shared in another article of this series in our exploration of the book of Revelation, the mighty angel of chapter 10 is still speaking to the Apostle John. The scene has not changed. Previously, it was noted that the open scroll in his hand identifies him as Christ, though he is not so named. As noted and expounded upon in the previous article of this series, John is told by this mighty angel (Christ) to measure the temple of God and the altar along with those who are worshipping therein, but to not measure the court outside of the temple. This Temple is of course the much talked-about coming third temple that will be rebuilt that the Antichrist sits in during the Tribulation and will commit what the book of Daniel refers to as the “abomination of desolation.” As he speaks here, we have a further indication of his identity. The mighty angel says, “I will give power unto my two witnesses.” The fact that he refers to them as “my” witnesses implies that the mighty angel must be Jesus. It cannot be credible that any other heavenly messenger has the authority to use such a term.

It should be noted at this point that John did not see these two witnesses, even in visionary form, as he sees other events in the book. He only receives a message about them and their ministry. Their story is not John’s view, but that of the mighty angel.

Why two witnesses? Did not Malachai promise only one witness? “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD (Malachi 4:5). At every Passover table, the Jewish family provides a chair, plate and cup of wine for only one extra guest, not two. During the course of the meal, a child is sent to the door to look for the promised heavenly visitor. There is no second witness expected to arrive. Furthermore, in the days of Christ’s first advent (first coming on Earth), only John the Baptist came to announce the Messiah’s arrival. There was no other witness.

According to Mosaic Law, two witnesses were needed in order to get a death penalty in cases of capital crimes: “At the mouth of two witnesses … shall the matter be established” (Deuteronomy 19:15). Why was John the Baptist the only witness? Approximately two thousand years ago, there was no need for two witnesses. Jesus did not come to judge the world. He did not overthrow the Roman government and establish the Messianic Kingdom. He came to Earth only to offer himself as a sacrifice for the sins of the world.

First-century history does not record a divinely designated Antichrist, worldwide Armageddon or eternal judgment upon the unsaved wicked. However, two witnesses will be needed to bring about God’s judgment during the Tribulation Period.

Normally, when we think of a witness, we envision a soul winner telling others about the Gospel message of salvation only in Christ. But these two witnesses are sent to observe and condemn diabolical activity. Though we are told that they “prophesy” (Revelation 11:3); turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers” (Malachi 4:6; and “restore all things” (Matthew 17:11); they also gather intelligence for the heavenly court. They will fulfill the requirements of the Mosaic Law.

1,260 Days and the Number 42

Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. [a]And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months. And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth” (Revelation 11:1-3)

In chapters 10 through 13, John uses three methods of timing events. In reference to Gentiles occupying Jerusalem, John speaks of “42 months.” In the account of the two witnesses, he speaks of 1,260 days (42 months) that they will be given the power and mandate to prophesy. In reference to the wilderness sojourn of the remnant, we are told that they will be protected from the Antichrist for “a time, and times, and half a time” (Revelation 12:14).

Joseph Seiss (1823-1904) explains the use of the term “months” as it relates to periods of divine judgment …

The computation is given in “months,” which is common in scripture when troubles and afflictions are the subject. The beginning and duration of the flood is expressed in months. The ark was in the country of the Philistines seven months. The locusts torment men five months. And Jerusalem’s last great trial is computed in months, as well as the term of the blasphemies of the Beast.

“The number of the months is forty-twosix times the period that the ark was in captivity. Six is the number of evil, and seven of dispensational completion, and these are two marked factors of forty-two; which would seem to signify a fullness or completion of the evil in those months. Israel in the wilderness had forty-two stations, and the wicked youths (young men) slain by the bears for their mockery of Elisha were forty-two.  The powerful monster who makes war with the saints, oppresses the nations, and blasphemes God, continues “forty-two months.” And so the completion of Jerusalem’s troubles is summed up in the same numbers and computation” (Apocalypse by Joseph A. Seiss).

The number 42 and its scriptural interaction with the number 6 and dispensational completion should be very interesting to those who are watching the prophetic signs unfold in our day and hour. The first half of the coming tribulation is 42 months and the last half is 42 months. Here is the prophetic kicker – we have seen in our generation the rise of a dark spirit in our very recent history that seemed to surface in the 42nd presidency of the United States (see here and here).

president 42 and wife

Extremely important to this point is that this same spirit was manifested in Elijah and Elisha’s day when a prophetic prototype of the rapture occurred when Elijah “disappeared” and Elisha was mocked, resulting in the 42 mockers getting killed by the two she-bears in 2 Kings 2.

Further still, this spirit didn’t go anywhere, but continued under Hillary Clinton (wife of president 42 – Bill Clinton), who ran for the presidency twice, with one of those times being against a man with a biblically peculiar last name that is a word used in scripture that describes what will take place when the rapture occurs – a “Trump” will sound …

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52).

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

Hillary Clinton,Donald Trump

The direction of the nation with the rise of this evil spirit associated with the number 42 continues to this day and is intensifying under the Trump presidency, although Trump himself may or may not be specifically associated with this spirit as it is with the Clintons. With Donald “Trump” being president and Mike Pence being vice-president, it should be pointed out for those who don’t see it yet that when you put the words “Trump” and “Pence” together, it sounds much like “trumpets,” the other word used in the aforementioned rapture passages (TRUMP/PENCE).

TrumPence

As can be observed in the pattern of the rapture prophecy seen in 2 Kings 2 is the “disappearance” of Elijah and the mocking of Elisha, it would seem that there will be some sort of “bear strike” after the rapture occurs. I probably do not need to inform you, the reader, that there is a growing and very tense conflict developing between the United States and a nation that holds the symbol of a bear. That nation is none other than Russia. There are prophetic indicators and recent signs that this strike will likely start on America’s state of Alaska (see linked article above).

state of alaska

This is at a time when that very same dark spirit that existed in Elijah and Elisha’s day just before the “rapture” of Elijah occurred is gaining momentum and intensity under the “Trump” presidency, but started in earnest under that important number 42 (42nd presidency).

By all appearances, that period of time wherein the darkness descended upon ancient Israel via that ancient evil spirit that triggered God to act in judgment upon the mockers has now descended, and is hovering over, America. It is a sign and an indicator that what occurred in the days of Elijah and Elisha are about to occur in our day. The signs are very evident. So then, by default, what happens in America is a major and key prophetic indicator of the consequences for the entire world. This being the case, prophetically speaking, so goes America, so goes the world since the prophetic happenings related to America involve the rapture event and the commencement of the Tribulation period, which will affect the entire world.

Many of those who keep up with prophetic developments in Christian circles and generally speaking fail to grasp the significance of America being a prophetic time-piece indicating where we are at in prophecy because they fail to understand America’s placement in Bible prophecy. Many say it is not even in the Bible, thus has no real indicators of where we stand in God’s timing of the occurrence of future world prophetic events i.e. the rapture and Tribulation etc. This is where it is important to understand America in God’s prophetic plan and the timing of prophetic events to come. One can get a grasp on this by recognizing the profound prophecy that Jesus gave in Matthew 21 regarding the transference of the vineyard (see here) and the providentially allotted time that this “vineyard” is given to fulfill its purpose (see here).

All of that is said to say that the prophetic significance that comes with the number 42 (as the aforementioned Joseph Seiss points out) and its accompanying prophetic signs that appeared in Elijah and Elisha’s day has appeared in vineyard America in our time, indicating the nearness of the hour of the Lord’s return to snatch home his own before judgment sets in. Given that Elijah is revealed to be one of the two witnesses of Revelation 11 that shall appear during the Tribulation (Malachi 4:5), it is quite prophetically interesting to see the “sign” of Elijah’s atmosphere and surroundings he dealt with in ancient Israel (Ahab and Jezebel and the same evil spirit that controlled them – even moreso her) appear in “Vineyard America” in our day (see here). In fact, given that we have arrived at the all-important 400 year “crossing over” exodus prophetic cycle in America indicating the nearness of the rapture, it may not be a stretch to say that Elijah, along with the other witness, may be on the earth right now, waiting for his divinely and providentially assigned moment to appear during the Tribulation. It’s not out of the realm of credibility to assume that he is here on Earth waiting especially during the moment in time when that dark spirit of Jezebel has again manifested in America – and by default, the earth, just as it did in his day in ancient Israel.

The term “1,260 days” is used to designate both the ministry of the two witnesses (verse 3) and the remnant in the wilderness …

And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days” (Revelation 12:6).

Here, the number of days is specific. However, eight verses later, John quotes from Daniel’s prophecy that the remnant will be in the wilderness “for a time, and times, and half a time” (Revelation 12:14). Originally, Daniel coined the phrase …

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time” (Daniel 7:25).

Twice, John uses “42 months“; twice, he uses “1,260 days“; and once, he uses “time, and times, and half a time.” He does not tell us which is used to describe the first half of the Tribulation and which is used for the second half. We can only guess. But the emphasis is on a grueling but limited interval of time. If it were to drag on past the allotted seven years as a whole and past the second half of the seven years, we are informed by Jesus that no flesh would be saved because the Tribulation will be that horrendous …

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:22).

To determine the length of the Tribulation Period, we can rely on Daniel. The prophet is told that the abomination of desolation will occur in the midst of a “week,” a seven-year period …

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate” (Daniel 9:27).

This seventieth week is a shavuah, or Sabbatical cycle of seven years. John’s use of three and one-half years falls within the framework of the seven-year cycle.

The Identity of the Two Witnesses

As previously mentioned, Elijah is likely one of the two witnesses as can be seen in Malachi 4:5. But many still ask the question – Are they Enoch and Elijah? Zerubbabel and Joshua? Daniel and John? Moses and Elijah? Many theologians have wondered at the identity of these two witnesses. Most are convinced that they represent the ministries of Moses and Elijah, since one has the ability to turn water to blood (as did Moses), and the other has the ability to stop the rain for three and a half years (as did Elijah).

Tertullian (A.D. 145-220), founder of Latin Christianity, was the first to suggest Enoch and Elijah …

Enoch no doubt was translated (raptured) [emphasis mine], and so was Elijah; nor did they experience death: it was postponed (and only postponed) most certainly: they are reserved for the suffering of death, that by their blood they may extinguish Antichrist” (Ante-Nicene Fathers, vol. 2 ch. 50, pg. 414).

Tertullian believed that all men must die. Therefore, the only two men in the Bible who did not fulfill that indictment (an indictment that we all must experience short of the coming rapture of the true church) must return for the purpose of dying in the Tribulation Period. It is true that the writer of Hebrews said … “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). He is referring to the progeny of Adam when, to whom God said …

And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:16-17).

As a result of Adam’s sin, all men and women are appointed to die. The Apostle Paul tells us …

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” (Romans 5:12).

This has been true in every generation. No one has left this world alive, with the exceptions of Enoch and Elijah. However, Christ said that on resurrection day, a great host of believers will escape death.

rapture lightning

This is recorded in a conversation between Jesus and Martha, sister of Mary and Lazarus …

Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John 11:24-26).

If there are exceptions to the rule, why must Enoch and Elijah return for the sole purpose of dying? Will the rest of the saints, taken at the sound of the last trumpet, also have to return and die? Of course not. Therefore, the premise that Enoch must be one of the two witnesses is not valid.

Furthermore, John the Baptist died. He was, in every respect, the fulfillment of Malachi’s prophecy. First of all, Gabriel revealed this to Zacharias …

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb. And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord” (Luke 1:15-1

Secondly, Jesus concurred with the angel’s announcement …

For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear” (Matthew 11:10-15).

There can be no doubt that John fulfilled the prophecy. But we know that Elijah did not return from Heaven in a fiery chariot. Nor do we believe in reincarnation. So, how can this be? By some heavenly process, the spirit of Elijah influenced John. Even before his birth, John had the knowledge to recognize Mary’s voice …

And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda; And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth. And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb. And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy” (Luke 1:39-44).

The unborn baby was able to express joy. There was a divinely imparted knowledge living in the fetus, something that could not have been learned. The spirit of Elijah was allowed to communicate with John’s spirit. We do not understand the process, but it could not have been “reincarnation” in the classic sense of the of the term. John was a separate individual with his own soul and spirit.

There are instances in the Bible where spirits indwell people. If demonic spirits can enter and influence the mind, perhaps angels and saints can as well. In the case of John, the spirit of Elijah was manifested. And yet, John did not regard himself as Elijah. When a delegation from the Temple approached him about the matter, John explained that he was not Elijah …

And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ” (John 1:19-21).

This may give us a clue as to why John, writer of the Gospel narrative, also refuses to give us the names of the two witnesses in his final book of Revelation. These two witnesses may not be ancient human beings returned to Earth from Heaven. Like John the Baptist, the two future witnesses may only be “influenced” by the spirits of powers of two Old Testament saints. Biblically speaking, the case for this argument is very compelling (see video below). But for reasons that shall be expounded upon further along in this article, the more likely scenario is that it will be the actual spirits of Moses and Elijah returned bodily to Earth.

Zerubbabel and Joshua?

These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth” (Revelation 11:4).

John is told that these two witnesses are comparable to the two olive trees and the two candlesticks of Zechariah’s prophecy …

And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof: And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof (Zechariah 4:2-3).

Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth (verses 11-14).

This vision of a seven-lamp menorah with olive trees on either side has become the emblem for the modern state of Israel.

emblem of israel

At the time of the vision, Zerubbabel was the governor of Judea, while Joshua was the high priest. As the political leader and the religious leader, the two of them led in the construction of the Second Temple. It appears that Zerubbabel and Joshua were designated as the “two anointed ones.” Therefore, it is possible that Revelation’s “two witnesses” will be the political leader and the religious leader of Israel.

One of their tasks may be to inspire and oversee the construction of the Third Temple, as seen in the first and second verses of this chapter. It is unlikely that Zerubbabel and Joshua will return to become the two witnesses.

Daniel and John?

Unusual promises were made to both Daniel and John, which leads some to think that they may be the two witnesses of the Tribulation. To Daniel, God promised …

But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days” (Daniel 12:13).

Though Daniel is promised resurrection, he is not given any instructions that would lead us to believe that he will be one of the two witnesses. To John, God promised …

And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings” (Revelation 10:11).

If this promise meant that he would be one of the two witnesses during the Tribulation Period, John might have written the narrative differently, not from the viewpoint of a spectator, but from the perspective of a participator. Therefore, it is not likely that the two witnesses are Daniel and John.

Moses and Elijah?

And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will” (Revelation 11:5-6).

Moses had the power “over water to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues,” while Elijah had the power “to shut heaven, that it rain not” in the days of his prophecy. No one else in scripture had such power. Therefore, these two, representing the Law and the prophets, get my vote for being the two witnesses.

While speaking to the disciples about Elijah being John the Baptist, Jesus mentioned the importance of both the prophets and the Law …

For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come” (Matthew 11:13-14).

Both Moses (representing the Law) and Elijah (representing the prophets) seem to be in view as the Savior discusses the subject of John the Baptist being the fulfillment of the prophecy about the coming of Elijah. This is a powerful statement that leads many to believe that Moses could be the other witness.

In Malachi’s prophecy, Moses is mentioned in verse 4, while Elijah is mentioned in verse 5 …

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord” (Malachi 4:4-5).

Though Moses appears nearby, Elijah seems to be the main focus of the prophecy. In certain early Jewish writings, Israel’s sages often spoke of Elijah coming to introduce the Messianic Kingdom. Yet, they never mentioned a second witness. They spoke only of Elijah, never Moses, Enoch or anybody else.

In the scripture narratives, however, we should note that Moses withstood the king of Egypt, demanding the release of the Israelites, while Elijah withstood Ahab, the wicked king of Israel. Both men stood before kings. As already demonstrated earlier in this article and in a previous article called “THE BEAR RAPTURE PROPHECY” (linked above), Ahab and Jezebel were ruling the nation of Israel from the “Ivory House” of Israel when great spiritual darkness first descended on the land before Elijah’s “rapture.” It should be noted that this is the only place in scripture that an “Ivory House” is mentioned.

The prophetic significance of this fact should be clear given that Ahab and Jezebel were in power when the spiritual darkness descended upon Israel, corresponding to the 42nd presidency of the United States as already demonstrated. This spiritual darkness that manifested with the rule of Ahab and Jezebel is what Elijah had to contend with. He withstood this wicked kingship under this evil couple before his departure. It is the “Ahab” and “Jezebel” kingship that directly parallels the 42nd presidency of the United States of America – the modern Israel. It is this same darkness that has descended on America and continues to this day with increasing intensity. Therefore, it makes perfect sense that Elijah would re-emerge to once again confront this darkness that will be in full swing during the Tribulation, thus making him one of the two witnesses when the Church is gone. Remember that in scripture, there is a clearly stated prophetic principle to always keep in mind when it comes to future prophecy fulfillment …

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us” (Ecclesiastes 1:9-10).

That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past” (Ecclesiastes 3:15).

History will repeat itself in discernible pattern and prophetic typology. With that thought in mind, let’s now be reminded of the prophetic peculiarity of the narrative of Moses withstanding the king of Egypt on behalf of the enslaved Hebrews at God’s behest. As some may already be aware, America also suddenly began to exhibit a discernible prophetic repeat pattern of ancient Egypt during the rise and implementation of the 44th presidency in 2009. This repeat pattern more specifically mimicked the days when the Hebrews were enslaved in the land as pointed out in a previous article titled “AMERICA THE VINEYARD AND THE YEAR 2020 – THE 400 YEAR PROPHETIC CYCLE” (linked above). This pattern also continues to this day under the 45th presidency and is gaining obvious intensity. With these two prophetic patterns (Moses – Egypt) and (Elijah – Israel) both playing out at the same time in vineyard America at the very end of the age before the rapture and judgment commences, the prophetic pattern and narrative of Moses and Elijah being the two witnesses is impeccable.

Furthermore, their ministries were engaged in the political process. They stood against governmental injustice. This certainly qualifies them to stand together against the Antichrist. In the scripture narratives, however, we should note that Moses withstood the king of Egypt, demanding the release of the Israelites, while Elijah withstood Ahab, the wicked king of Israel. Both men stood before kings. As already demonstrated earlier in this article and in a previous article called “THE BEAR RAPTURE PROPHECY” (linked above), Ahab and Jezebel were ruling the nation of Israel from the “Ivory House” of Israel when great spiritual darkness first descended on the land before Elijah’s “rapture.” Again, the only place in scripture that an “Ivory House” is mentioned.

Further still, the story of Ahab and Jezebel is where a strong “vineyard” theme emerges. The story of Ahab and Jezebel is not the only place where a “vineyard” is mentioned, but it emerges with prominence in this particular story. In a previous article, I demonstrated why America is the fulfillment of the prophecy of the transferred vineyard in Matthew 21 (See Recommended Reading and Watching) section at the end of this article). Ahab and Jezebel’s rule in the “Ivory House” directly parallels the 42nd presidency of the Clintons from the “White House” of America today. Let’s now look at the story of the vineyard in a bit more detail as it relates to Ahab and Jezebel. When we do, there “may” be yet another incredible hidden prophecy to consider as a sign for the imminent rapture of the true Church.

To begin, it should be pointed out that in 1 Kings 21, we see Ahab asking Naboth for his vineyard. The vineyard was in Jezreel, close to the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.  Ahab asked Naboth to let him have his vineyard to use for a vegetable garden, since it was close to his palace. In exchange, he offered to give Naboth a better vineyard or, if you prefer, he promised to pay him whatever it was worth.

But Naboth replied, “The Lord forbid that I should give you the inheritance of my ancestors.” So Ahab went home, sullen and angry because Naboth the Jezreelite had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my ancestors.” He lay on his bed sulking and refused to eat. His wife Jezebel came in and asked him, “Why are you so sullen? Why won’t you eat?

He answered her, “Because I said to Naboth the Jezreelite, ‘Sell me your vineyard; or if you prefer, I will give you another vineyard in its place.’ But he said, ‘I will not give you my vineyard.’”

Jezebel his wife said, “Is this how you act as king over Israel? Get up and eat! Cheer up. I’ll get you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.” So she wrote letters in Ahab’s name, placed his seal on them, and sent them to the elders and nobles who lived in Naboth’s city with him.  In those letters she wrote:

Proclaim a day of fasting and seat Naboth in a prominent place among the people.  But seat two scoundrels opposite him and have them bring charges that he has cursed both God and the king. Then take him out and stone him to death.”

So the elders and nobles who lived in Naboth’s city did as Jezebel directed in the letters she had written to them.  They proclaimed a fast and seated Naboth in a prominent place among the people.  Then two scoundrels came and sat opposite him and brought charges against Naboth before the people, saying, “Naboth has cursed both God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death.  Then they sent word to Jezebel: “Naboth has been stoned to death.”

As soon as Jezebel heard that Naboth had been stoned to death, she said to Ahab, “Get up and take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite that he refused to sell you. He is no longer alive, but dead.”  When Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, he got up and went down to take possession of Naboth’s vineyard.

Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite:  “Go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, who rules in Samaria. He is now in Naboth’s vineyard, where he has gone to take possession of it.  Say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Have you not murdered a man and seized his property?’ Then say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: In the place where dogs licked up Naboth’s blood, dogs will lick up your blood—yes, yours!’”

Ahab said to Elijah, “So you have found me, my enemy!” “I have found you,” he answered, “because you have sold yourself to do evil in the eyes of the Lord. He says, ‘I am going to bring disaster on you. I will wipe out your descendants and cut off from Ahab every last male in Israel—slave or free. I will make your house like that of Jeroboam son of Nebat and that of Baasha son of Ahijah, because you have aroused my anger and have caused Israel to sin.’ “And also concerning Jezebel the Lord says: ‘Dogs will devour Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.’ “Dogs will eat those belonging to Ahab who die in the city, and the birds will feed on those who die in the country.”

There was never anyone like Ahab, who sold himself to do evil in the eyes of the Lord, urged on by Jezebel his wife.  He behaved in the vilest manner by going after idols, like the Amorites the Lord drove out before Israel. When Ahab heard these words, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and fasted. He lay in sackcloth and went around meekly.

Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite …

Have you noticed how Ahab has humbled himself before me? Because he has humbled himself, I will not bring this disaster in his day, but I will bring it on his house in the days of his son.”

Again, notice the heavy theme of the vineyard here? At this point in the prophetic narrative, let’s indulge ourselves by asking the question, “Will the death of Bill Clinton (whenever that will occur) be another prophetic sign that the rapture is extremely imminent?” Remember that Elijah disappeared after the death of Ahab. We know that the rapture is already imminent given all other prophetic signs of course, but could the eventual death of Bill Clinton be another sign to watch for? Just asking the question. This is not to be dogmatic in saying that this will be a pre-requisite sign of the rapture. If, by chance, it is, it will certainly be an event of extreme interest to watch for. He is certainly advancing toward the sunset years of his life at 74 years old here in the year 2020.

We should also take note of yet another interesting numbers and timing anomoly. When “Trump” (rapture) was elected president in 2016, Bill Clinton (associated with the Ahab and Jezebel theme) turned 70 years old. This is interesting considering that the number 70 itself is very significant and prophetic in nature:

  • The Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70. A.D.
  • God sent the Israelites into Babylonian captivity for 70 years for not keeping the Jubilees. God counted the time that they were out of covenant relationship with him before bringing them out of bondage and back into covenant concerning the land of Israel, which was a period of 70 years.
  • The approaching Tribulation Period of the world’s judgment is called “Daniel’s 70th week” in Daniel 9. The “seventy weeks” prophecy is one of the most significant and detailed Messianic prophecies of the Old Testament. Of the 70 “sevens,” 69 have been fulfilled in history. This leaves one more “seven” yet to be fulfilled. We are now living in a huge gap between the 69th week and the 70th week. The prophetic clock has been paused, as it were. The final “seven” of Daniel is what is called the “Tribulation Period.”

Further still, the idea that the death of a prominent individual Providentially placed and ensconced within a prophetic narrative by Divine design as a sign of coming calamity is not without precedent. In the narrative of Methuselah, we find an interesting meaning in his name. Methuselah was the son of Enoch. Enoch was “raptured,” or as scripture puts it, “taken” into Heaven. God revealed to Enoch His plan to destroy the world with a Great Flood, apparently telling Enoch that as long as his son was alive, God would forbear judgment. Enoch made his son’s name a prophecy that means: “When he dies, it will come” or “his death shall bring it.” If you add up the numerical data given in the chrono-genealogy of Genesis 5, you will see that Methuselah lived until the year of the Flood …
Methuselah, the grandfather of Noah, lived until the very year of the flood; and there were others who believed the preaching of Noah, and aided him in building the ark, who died before the flood of waters came upon the earth” (Spirit of Prophecy, v. 1, p. 170).

Methuselah’s name is thus a prophecy within a prophecy. Think about the fact that Methuselah lived longer than any other man who ever lived and died (969 years) in conjunction with the prophetic aspect of his name. God stated that he would bring the Flood at the end of Methuselah’s life, then He made Methuselah the longest-lived man in history. Prophetically important to note is that Enoch was very well acquainted with both Adam and Eve. He was 243 years old when Adam died, so his grandchildren were able to hear the story of creation and the fall from Adam himself. Here is where it gets interesting. With the Bill Clinton administration being the 42nd Presidency and strongly associated with the Ahab and Jezebel spirit at the time of the rapture of Elijah, we find the number 42 in Enoch’s 243 years of age when Adam died when looked at in reverse order starting with the middle digit. You may find that observation as something akin to grasping at straws until you realize that all of the languages east of Jerusalem all read from right to left, towards Jerusalem. The languages from the nations West of Jerusalem read from left to right. This is why we may observe this particular peculiarity. The 42 starts with the middle digit, perhaps indicating that Jerusalem is the center piece of prophecy. In scripture, we also see that it is the apple of God’s eye. To the right of the 4 is the number 3 in Enoch’s age when Adam died. Interestingly, it is 3 presidential administrations later that we come to the “Trump” (rapture?) administration of Vineyard America. The 3 could also be signalling the triune Godhead of which the number 3 is associated with – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Perhaps it is signalling both. Given the prophetic context, it appears that the prophetic hint is telling us that there will be 3 presidential administrations after the 42nd administration, the third of which contains a hint of the rapture with the word “Trump” connected to it. The number 3 seems to be pointing our attention to the left of it to the number 42 in an interplay of prophetic code of sorts.

But that is not all. The code gets even more interesting when you read the 243 number from left to right. The two numbers to the right of the number 2 is 43. As demonstrated in a previous article titled “AMERICA THE VINEYARD AND THE YEAR 2020: THE 400 YEAR PROPHETIC CYCLE,” I noted that the final tally of votes in Florida that decided the 43rd presidency in that hotly contested election was a total of 930 votes – the same number of years that Adam lived when he died. Enoch was 243 years old when Adam died. I also noted that the Church is the 43rd unending generation from Christ. Christ is also referred to as the “second Adam” in scripture. It is Christ who will rapture the Church (generation 43). This prophetic hint surfacing, of course, occurred after the 42nd presidency.

With the number 2 being to the left of number 43, we have what seems to be here another prophetic hint that is pointing us to the 45th presidency of “Trump” (rapture?) – with the number 2 hinting that the “Trump” presidency is 2 presidential cycles after 43 (43rd presidency). So, we seem to have a case where the reading of Enoch’s 243 years of age when Adam died when read from both left to right and right to left are both pointing to the 45th presidency of “Trump” in what appears to be divine coding. It is rather prophetically interesting to say the least that we have the 42nd presidency not only prophetically pointing to the 45th, but that it also is connected in prophetic coding to the raptures of both Enoch and Elijah.

Here is the kicker to both presidential cycles (43 & 45) – 43 is associated with the Church (Church generation) and 45 is associated with the rapture (Trump). Put the two together and you have what seems to be a coded message – the church (43) being raptured (45) when the Trump of God sounds. Given that America is closely associated with, and likely the fulfillment of the Vineyard prophecy of Matthew 21, we should not be at all surprised that these prophetic signs are surfacing in America telling us of the lateness of the hour. The more I look at this type of existing prophetic coding, the more I grow convinced that the rapture is going to occur sometime during or in close proximity to immediately after the Trump presidency. At the start of the 42nd presidency, we seem to have entered into a prophetic season of time that will directly lead to the coming of the Lord for the Church and the start of the Tribulation Period.

Continuing on with the narrative and case of Moses and Elijah being the two witnesses, we note that after a short vacation at Caesarea Philippi, beneath Mt. Hermon, at the headwaters of the Jordon River, Jesus told his disciples that some of them would be allowed to see him coming in the glory of his kingdom …

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom” (Matthew 16:27-28).

Six days later, he took Peter, James and John up into a high mountain for his transfiguration. The astonished disciples saw Moses and Elijah meeting with Jesus …

And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him” (Matthew 17:1-3).

As they descended the mountain, Jesus charged the men not to tell others about the vision. They were quite aware that the two heavenly citizens fulfilled the prophecy of Christ coming in his kingdom. Therefore, they wanted to learn more about Malachi’s prediction that Elijah would return …

And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist” (Matthew 17:10-13).

The Savior assured them that the coming of Elijah would still occur in the future. Neither they nor the savior regarded the appearance of Elijah on the mountain above them as the fulfillment of the prophecy. Note: they did not ask about Moses. Nor did the Savior mention him. Only Elijah was the subject of the conversation. The prophet is scheduled to come and “restore all things.” The Rabbis taught that Elijah would return certain Temple artifacts, namely, the Ark of the Covenant, the ashes of the red heifer, the Temple Incense, the Urim and Thummim and other items necessary in Temple liturgy.

The appearance of Moses and Elijah on the Mount of Transfiguration is a powerful prophecy of the future coming of Christ in his Kingdom. Jesus, himself, connected the event with “the son of man coming in his kingdom.” This cannot be overlooked. Therefore, the weight of this evidence combined with the strong connection of the Egypt theme emerging in America in 2009 under the 44th presidency and co-existing with the Ahab/Jezebel dark spirit that started under the 42nd presidency (with number 42 being very prophetically determining in scripture as pointed out by Joseph Seiss) that Moses is the other witness is far more powerful than Tertullian’s choice of Enoch.

Note: the mountain where Jesus was transfigured was a six-day journey from Caesarea Philippi. Furthermore, it was a “high mountain apart,” meaning “out of the land.” Just in passing, we should be reminded that Mount Nebo lies to the east of Judea, across the Jordon River and out of the land. Also, there are six watering holes along the way, making it a six-day journey south from Mount Hermon. Luke tells us that they spent the night on the mountain and they descended the next morning. In other words, they spent the seventh day on the mountain. That day must have been the Sabbath, and by the way, a prophecy of the seventh millennium – Christ’s Kingdom rule and reign on Earth as seen in Revelation after the Tribulation ends. This journey was a symbolic acting out or rehearsal of our glorious future.

The scriptural accounts of the death of Moses and the ascension of Elijah indicate that both occurred atop Mount Nebo. Perhaps the Mount of Transfiguration is neither Mount Tabor, as some believe, nor Mount Hermon, as others have suggested. Mount Nebo seems to be the most likely spot.

Mt. Nebo

The concept that Enoch was the only other qualified candidate for Revelation’s witness, simply because he never died, misses the fact that, in rabbinical circles, the manner of Moses’ death has remained in question. No one saw him die. No Jewish scholar can certify that Moses died in the same manner that all other men die.

Moses must have added the last chapter of Deuteronomy prior to the event. In doing so, he presupposes the manner and circumstance of his death …

So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated” (Deuteronomy 34:5-7).

According to rabbinical teaching, Moses could not be put to death in the normal manner because his body was filled with the Shekinah. The Shekinah glory is the Hebrew name given to the presence of God dwelling on Earth. This is something that occurred during his second 40-day sojourn on Mt. Sinai. When he returned to the camp, he had to veil his face …

And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him. And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him. And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them. And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the Lord had spoken with him in mount Sinai. And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face. But when Moses went in before the Lord to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded. And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him” (Exodus 34:29-35).

Because of the presence of the Shekinah glory, rabbis have written that Moses had a glorified body. They say that if the tomb of Moses were discovered, one would find the body of Moses lying in state, perfectly preserved and still alive, though his soul and spirit would not be present. Though he was 120 years old at the time of his death, he was in perfect health. His body possessed all of the characteristics that we will possess at the instant of our translation. For this reason, Jude tells us that Lucifer wants his body …

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee” (Jude 9).

What Lucifer the devil wanted with the body of Moses is not certain. However, it seems that he wanted access to that particular source of immortality.

What Happened to Moses?

In his “Antiquities of the Jews,” Josephus gives an unusual account of the disappearance of Moses. Keep in mind that it is an extra-biblical account that reflects the thinking of first-century Judaism. Moses did, indeed, die – at the hands of God, who buried him in an unmarked tomb somewhere in Moab. Just how and when remains the mysterious part of the story.

In the opening chapter of Joshua, God tells the new leader of Israel, “Moses, my servant is dead” (Joshua 1:2). We should have no doubts about the death of Moses. But the events surrounding his death are most unusual. I think you will find them intriguing. Josephus writes …

When Moses had spoken thus at the end of his life, and had foretold what would befall to every one of their tribes afterward, with the addition of a blessing to them, the multitude fell into tears, insomuch that even the women, by beating their breasts, made manifest the deep concern they had when he was about to die.

“The children also lamented still more, as not able to contain their grief; and thereby declared, that even at their age they were sensible of his virtue and mighty deeds; and truly there seemed to be a strife betwixt the young and the old, who should most grieve for him.

“The old grieved because they knew what a careful protector they were to be deprived of, and so lamented their future state; but the young grieved, not only for that, but also because it so happened that they were to be left by him before they had well tasted of his virtue.

“Now one may make a guess at the excess of this sorrow and lamentation of the multitude, from what happened to the legislator himself; for although he was always persuaded that he ought not to be cast down at the approach of death, since the undergoing it – as agreeable to the will of God and the law of nature, yet what the people did so overbore him, that he wept himself.

Now as he went thence to the place where he was to vanish out of their sight, they all followed after him weeping; but Moses beckoned with his hand to those that were remote from him, and bade them stay behind in quiet, while he exhorted those that were near to him that they would not render his departure so lamentable.

“Whereupon they thought they ought to grant him that favor, to let him depart according as he himself desired; so they restrained themselves, though weeping still toward one another.

“All those who accompanied him were the Senate, and Eleazar the high priest, and Joshua their commander. Now as soon as they were come to the mountain called Abarim, (which is a very high mountain, situate over against Jericho, and one that affords, to such as are upon it, a prospect of the greatest part of the excellent land of Caanan), he dismissed the Senate; and as he was going to embrace Eleazar and Joshua, and was still discoursing with them, a cloud stood over him on the sudden, and he disappeared in a certain valley, although he wrote in the holy books that he died, which was done out of fear, lest they should venture to say that, because of his extraordinary virtue, he went to God.”

What should be noted and considered about this story was that Moses was walking toward Eleazar and Joshua, intending to embrace them with a final good-bye, and was talking with them when he suddenly vanished before their eyes. As the story goes, a cloud stood over him just before he disappeared. Whatever Moses was saying was cut off in the middle of his sentence. It was totally unexpected, even by Moses.

This may sound like science fiction and yet, it appears to be the best description Jewish historians could produce. Moses did not say, “Beam me up, Scotty!” In fact, Moses was taken at a moment when even he did not expect it, otherwise, he would not have been walking toward Eleazar and in the middle of making a statement.

Moses disappeared in the same manner that we expect to be taken in the rapture.

He was transported alive into another location, probably not on Earth. He was caught up in much the same manner as Enoch, Elijah and Christ. The only difference is that God brought his glorified immortal body back to Earth and buried it “in a valley in the land of Moah, over against Bethpeor.” It is perhaps possible that the body of Moses awaits reunion with his soul and spirit for the Tribulation Period when he is scheduled to emerge as one of the two witnesses. Perhaps Elijah and Moses will return again to the summit of Mount Nebo. From there, it is only a short distance to Jerusalem.

Perhaps the two witnesses will be the political and religious leaders of modern Israel, having both been born in the “spirits and powers” of Moses and Elijah and actually be two unknown men to us at present, which mentioned previously, has biblical merit.

It is rather strange that the book of Revelation does not mention Israel’s political infrastructure for the last days. John’s silence on such subjects may be no mere oversight. The witness with power to turn water to blood may be a future prime minister, and the witness with power to control the weather may be a future high priest in a restored sanctuary on the Temple Mount.

Their deaths are foretold for a purpose. The “beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit” will engage them in combat and succeed in killing them …

And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth” (verses 7-10).

The Antichrist will gloat over his killing of the two witnesses and lead the world to celebrate with him. Freed from the torments of these two witnesses, mankind will “make merry, and shall send gifts one to another.”

We are told that the world will be able to see their dead bodies lying on a street in Jerusalem. Perhaps they will be killed at Israel’s historic Wailing Wall. Today, a live feed camera is trained on the Western Wall and transmits live video footage, via the internet, around the world.

In addition to that, several networks have television camera crews available, via satellite, to go anywhere in the world and propagandize the world cover news events. But the celebrating will be short-lived. Not only will the world be able to see their deaths, but their resurrections as well …

And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly” (verses 11-14).

In almost every case of ascension, a “cloud” transports the saint. Perhaps the biblical cloud is not a wispy accumulation of water vapor, but rather, a celestial transportation vehicle.

Once they are safely aloft, an earthquake will strike Jerusalem. Only a tenth part of the city is destroyed. That is a very small portion, yet, there are 7,000 casualties. Could the earthquake target the Southern Wall of the Temple Mount? Could the casualties be Moslem worshippers?

The Jewish “remnant” is frightened. Could the remnant be the worshippers at the Western Wall or on the Temple Mount? The resurrection and rapture of the two witnesses brings about a religious revival among the people, as they give God the credit for the day’s remarkable events.

Final Thoughts

It is with great prophetic interest to observe that the spiritual darkness that seemed to trigger Elijah’s departure from Earth into Heaven demonstrably surfaced in Vineyard America’s 42nd presidency and continues to this day. Even more interesting to observe are the prophetic signs that have subsequently surfaced in America’s leadership since then, along side of this continuously existing spirit that started under presidency number 42.

For example, after the Clinton’s left the White House (Ivory House) and the 42nd presidency was over, along came the 43rd presidency of Vineyard America. As demonstrated in a previous article linked above, number 43 is the number for the generation of the Church. In that article, I observed the following …

To further demonstrate the prophetic importance and significance of this prophetic time frame, we should now take a look at the interesting and peculiar final vote tally during the George W. Bush and Al Gore election to the presidency. As we can all remember, the election of 2000 was the most controversial and hotly contested election in the history of America. Court battles between the Bush campaign and the Gore campaign carried on for a considerable time before Bush was declared the winner. As a side note, I am well aware that the occupant of the presidency is selected by the global Luciferian elite beforehand and not by actual vote. But the “official” kabuki theatre final vote number in Florida that was so hotly contested and would “decide” the winner after the court battles between Gore and Bush ended was 930. That number is significant because the first man Adam died at 930 years of age. Interestingly, this number surfaced during president number 43. This number 43, as previously discussed, happens to be the number of the Church generation before president 44 kicked in. In scripture, Jesus Christ is given the title of the “second Adam” in 1 Corinthians 15 …

It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly” (1 Corinthians 15:44-48).

Immediately after Jesus Christ is revealed to be the second Adam in this verse of scripture, we find the narrative diving directly into the well-known passage revealing the rapture of the true Church from the earth at the end of the age …

And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality” (verses 49-53).

How interesting it is that the number of years that Adam lived should show up at the 43rd presidency of Vineyard America in the final vote tally that decided it’s outcome. The reason for this is simple. God was showing us that the world was entering into a very  important prophetic season that is leading to the soon return of the second Adam for the true church in the rapture event. This is starkly confirmed given that Christ is named the second Adam in the well-known passage of the rapture. Of course, after pointing something like that out, it should also be noted that Christ is called the second Adam because Adam is a prototype, or picture, of Jesus Christ himself. Adam took the fall for Eve in the Garden of Eden just as Christ took the fall for the future Church; 43 being the church generation since God counts time by covenants.

After the 43rd presidency was completed and the 44th presidency of Barack Obama started, we began to see a prophetic pattern of the ancient story of the Exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt emerge – pointing to our exodus from the world via the rapture. In fact, the Egypt theme was quite strong during the 44th presidency as also demonstrated in the linked article above.

Now, here we are with president 45 who “happens” to carry the last name of a biblically descriptive word describing what takes place when the rapture occurs … a “Trump” sounds. We seem to have here a sequence of end time signs coded in the office of the presidency:

Presidency number 42 (Bill and Hillary Clinton): The very same spiritual darkness that arose in ancient Israel during the time of the rulership of Ahab and Jezebel while the prophet Elijah was on the scene arises under president 42 – indicating the signs of our “disappearance” just like Elijah.

Presidency number 43 (George W. Bush): Final electoral vote number points to the first man Adam’s death – ultimately drawing our attention to the second man Adam, Jesus Christ, since it occurred in presidency number 43 (the number of the Church generation). It is the second Adam, Jesus Christ, that will descend and call the church home in the rapture event.

Presidency number 44 (Barack Obama): A strong Egypt theme emerges in vineyard America, reminding us that just as the ancient Hebrews of Old “crossed over” out of Egypt (a type of the world), the true Church of all born again believers will also “cross over” from this world to the next via the rapture.

Presidency number 45 (Donald Trump): Very many (too many to mention) rapture signs have occurred under this man’s presidency, not the least of which is his last name “Trump” describing the rapture event.

In observing the rather prophetically peculiar last three presidential administrations, I have made note before in a previous article that the preparation phase for the Church’s departure from Earth via the rapture started under the 44th presidency – that of Barack Obama. This is when the Egypt theme emerged in America. Notice that in Genesis 19, after ascending the mountain at God’s command to receive the Ten Commandments, God tells Moses to prepare the people because in three days, he is going to descend on the mountain (Mt. Sinai) in the sight of all the people. It is commonly taught that Moses “ascending” the mountain is a picture of the rapture as God “came down” to meet with him. Here, we can see the rapture theme in the preparation phase of the story of the Exodus. Just as God promised to descend on the mountain in three days in the sight of the Hebrews, could it be that after three American presidential cycles that started under the Egypt theme of the 44th presidency that we shall see the rapture occur? Considering that we now have a president (45) that bears the last name of “Trump” that falls into the 3rd presidential cycle after the Egypt-themed cycle ended under 44, it is something to seriously consider.

Is the preparation phase just about over? Are we soon to hear the trump sound? If the three presidential cycle speculation is not correct, if nothing else, we still see the Rapture/Moses/Egypt/Trump theme converging at this moment in time. Under presidency 42, it was the Elijah rapture theme. Under presidency 43, it was the Church theme signalling the rapture. Under presidency 44, it was the Egypt preparation theme that included the “ascension” of Moses and the “descending” of God to “meet him.” Under  presidency 45, it is all about the rapture theme.

In closing, it is all of these prophetic peculiarities that started to occur under that very important biblical and prophetic number 42 in conjunction with all of the other evidence explored in this article that should give us a very strong clue that it will be Elijah and Moses who emerge as the two witnesses during the Tribulation. These past three presidential administrations, and now the current one under Trump, seem to be painting a very interesting prophetic picture for us. That picture is clearly pointing to the fact that our time here is drawing to a rapid conclusion.

To the subject of the identity of the two witnesses, as previously mentioned, it may well be that the same spirit that was on Elijah and Moses will once again descend on two other individuals and fulfill that role. Either way, we seem to be looking at Moses and Elijah. Of that, part of me is very tempted to say that there is no doubt given the evidence. But then again, in observing the rather peculiar Enoch coding associated with the number 42, and given that the two witnesses will prophesy for 42 months of the Tribulation Period, I am tempted to at least consider that Enoch may be one of the two witnesses with Elijah. At this point, I cannot be dogmatic to say that it will be Moses rather than Enoch, but I think the evidence is more in favor of Moses (see “Recommended Reading and Watching” section at the end of this article further below.

THE RAPTURE AND YOUR ESCAPE FROM THE COMING JUDGMENT

The demonstrable divinely inspired text that we call the Bible promises a coming horrendous seven-year Tribulation period of judgment upon Earth for all of mankind, no matter what your religion, belief or creed is, and even to those who don’t believe anything spiritual at all.  We can now clearly see the signs of this approaching nightmare.  However, as we’ve already seen, this same divinely inspired text that we call the Bible promises a dramatic escape from off the face of the earth before this horrendous time of judgment only to a certain category of people.

Put simply, an event is coming that will be so stupendous that it strains the mind to contemplate such an event happening.  It is an event that will see millions upon millions of people across the globe suddenly disappear without warning.  The millions of disappeared will have literally ascended into Heaven itself after instantaneously receiving a new glorified body fit for Heaven.  A body that will be able to withstand the atmosphere and glory of Heaven.  This event is known as the “Rapture.”  But the promise of escape is only to those who are “born again” in Christ.  This is why it is crucial to understand what Christ meant when he declared in no uncertain terms that only those who are “born again” in him will enter the Kingdom of God.  For the explanation of this, keep reading below.

In order to accept the offer of God’s grace and his salvation, you must take the crucial three steps of …

1. Agreeing – A belief and agreeing with God in all that he says in his word, the Bible, about the fact that you are separated from God, as every man and woman on the face of the earth are before accepting his salvation.  The Bible reveals that all are separated from him in a spiritual state of death, or said another way that the Bible reveals it, in a state of sin, that will result in damnation in the afterlife.  Agreeing with God in your heart that you are in need of his salvation.  The Bible reveals that God looks upon the heart of a man or woman, and thus, responds accordingly to the person who comes to him for salvation in recognition of his inability to save himself.  The Bible makes these facts very clear – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).  “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).  The Bible describes these three kinds of death:

  • physical death (the state experienced when life leaves our bodies).
  • spiritual death (spiritual separation from God caused by our state of spiritual death inherited from the first man Adam – the state of sin that results in our daily outward acts of sin, whether deliberate or not, whether omissive or not; and finally …
  • the second death (the fixed state entered into by the individual who dies physically while he or she is dead spiritually). This state is entered into after the death of the body which results in punishment in the afterlife until the event of the Great White Throne Judgment occurs wherein the damned are resurrected from Hades, or Hell, and are judged according to their works and finally destroyed and cease to exist after being cast into the Lake of Fire. Revelation 14 refers to this tragic end of the unsaved as the “Second Death” (verse 14). It is this state of suffering entered into after physical death and then final destruction at the Great White Throne Judgment in particular which is the horrible result of receiving the wages of sin (unforgiven due to unbelief and rejection of Christ). The Lord Jesus Christ frequently described such a death as being irrevocable in a destiny which he called Hell.  He described Hell as a literal place of judgment (Matthew 13:42); a place of everlasting fire (Matthew 18:8); a place of torment (Luke 16:24,28); a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:50); a place of remorse (Mark 9:44-48); of bitter memory (Luke 16:25), and a place originally prepared for the Devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41).  In fact, Jesus more often warned about Hell than he spoke about Heaven.

It is not God’s will or desire that any person should be consigned to perish in Hell (2 Peter 3:9), but rather that all should come to repentance of unbelief toward him and believe on him for the salvation of the individual’s soul.  But God’s justice requires that the “soul who sins” (remains in it’s state of death or state of sin) is the one who will die a second time after a long period of torment (Ezekiel 18:4).  So, agree with God, admitting that you are unable to save yourself and in a state of sin under God’s just condemnation for that sin and that you are in need of his salvation.

2. Believing – Then, believe that God does not want you to perish eternally in the torment of Hell because of your sin.  Believe that God loves you so much that he provided a way whereby he could still be a just, holy and righteous God, and yet pardon you.  Believe that God did not just overlook sin, but that he sent his only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to provide salvation by personally paying the penalty for sin.  Believe that Jesus Christ, whose life, death, burial and resurrection is the best-attested fact of antiquity, did come to earth to live, die, rise again and ascend to Heaven in order to provide justification and salvation for all who trust him.  Believe that he, and he alone, can save you because he has fully satisfied the just demands of God.  Believe that you can’t become righteous in God’s sight by your own effort.  Believe that he wants to save you and that he will save you.  The Bible provides a solid basis for such belief …

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).

“But God demonstrates his love toward us in this:  while we were yet sinners,  Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

God presented him (Jesus Christ) as a sacrifice of atonement through faith in his blood.  He did this to demonstrate his justice because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished – he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies the man or woman who has faith in Jesus (Romans 3:25-26).

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures … ” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

“Jesus answered, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).  “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out [drive away]” (John 6:37).

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20).

3. Calling – It is not enough to agree with God, admit your need, and believe that Christ can and will save you.  You must act upon those facts. God’s requirement is that you repent of your unbelief toward him and actively call upon him for the salvation of your soul based on the fact that you cannot save yourself. It is unbelief in particular that damns the soul to its horrible fate …

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).

You must be willing to completely turn from your own efforts to save yourself or from any other hope.  You must come to Christ, calling upon him for salvation and counting on the fact that he will do what he has promised.  This means simply taking the gift of pardon and eternal life which he offers.  Merely believing about Jesus Christ without coming to him makes as much sense and is as effective as believing that a medication can successfully treat a fatal disease, but failing to take it.  Yet again, the Bible emphatically and authoritatively provides the basis for such statements.

The word translated “believe” here means to “rest one’s entire weight and trust on the object or person in which the belief is placed.”  It requires action in keeping with the intellectual assent of that belief.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).

” … but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

The logical question you may be asking at this point is:  “how do I come to Christ and call upon him?”  The answer is that “calling upon the Lord” is just another term for praying, or talking to God.  To talk to God is not a complicated process, dependent upon some special rituals.  God has invited people to approach him through his Son in simple, straightforward terms.  In fact, Jesus approved of the dishonest, despised tax collector who simply prayed, “God be merciful to me, a sinner.”  While the exact words of your prayer to God are not of vital importance (since God sees and knows the attitude of your heart), the following is the kind of prayer that you could pray in calling upon God for salvation …

“Dear Lord Jesus:  I realize that I need you.  I admit that I have sinned and that I deserve your just, eternal punishment for that sin.  But I am sorry for my sin and I am turning to you and asking for forgiveness.  I believe that you died and rose again to pay sin’s penalty on my behalf.  I come to you and open my heart to you.  I ask you to come into my life, forgive me for all of my sin and make me your child.  I invite you to take control of my life and to cause me to be the kind of person you would have me to be.  I thank you for doing this because you have promised that whosoever calls upon you, as I am doing now, shall be saved.  I pray this in the name of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen.”

If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, I urge you to sincerely and genuinely express it to God as your prayer.  The Bible makes clear that when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ in our heart, God forgives our sins and counts us righteous, and that when we openly confess with our mouth what we have done in our heart,  God gives us assurance of that salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” (John 3:3-7).

  1. thank you for not requiring a beast-system Google account in order to post a comment like other websites such as Gary’s. In this time the necessity for Christians to post anonymously is tantamount to our safety and perhaps our soon survival should the Lord tarry. All of those comments over there deeply identifying their posters could prove a huge mistake soon as they require fealty to the ultimate AI (google) in order to respond as a Christian! Brothers this should not be! It doesn’t matter about trolls etc.. Christians should not be required to allege fealty to what is the beast’s system in order to respond!

    that said.

    the anitChrist’s JTB.

the uniqueness of the middle name draws our attention to the “ette” or “t” which is feminine and is of course not normally there in a man’s name. Therefore J ‘T’ B for those who can accept it.

77 years old now, born in ’42 (tribulation). An anti-JTB to prepare the way for the coming of the anti messiah.

    blessings in Christ Jesus.
