THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON AND THE PROPHETIC PSALMS: DOES PSALM 122 SIGNAL THE RAPTURE IN 2022?

In the previous study in this ongoing chapter-by-chapter study of the book of Revelation, we continued our trek through chapter 19 with the second commentary on this chapter. Here, we shall continue that trek through chapter 19 with the third installment. Previously, we observed that Jesus Christ is “KING OF KINGS.” He has complete authority over every nation. After all, the entire world, including man, was created by him – and therefore, belongs to him. He deserves to wear every crown, occupy every throne, and exercise complete rule in every country. Already, his laws are enforced in all nations, even those who do not recognize his authorship. The nation that demands, “Thou shall not kill,” and yet, refuses to recognize that Jesus Christ is the author of that law, is an odd anomaly of life.

As King, Jesus is the political head of this world. But as “LORD OF LORDS,” he is the religious head of the Melchizedek priesthood. This is not a political, but rather, a religious office. He is both King and Priest. And his testimony is the “spirit of prophecy” (verse 10), acknowledging he holds the office of prophet as well.

In Psalm 110:4, we are told that Christ is a “priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” And again in the book of Hebrews (5:6), it is explained that the priesthood of Melchizedek is better than the priesthood of the Levites. Therefore, if we are to understand this exalted priesthood, we would do well to explore the story of the original holder of that title. Melchizedek was the king of Salem (the ancient city of Jerusalem) and priest of the most High God, who gave bread and wine to Abraham. Furthermore, Abraham gave tithes to him.

We are told that no family record of Melchizedek exists. No one knows the day he was born, or the day he died. Melchizedek was …

Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually” (Hebrews 7:3).

The priesthood of Melchizedek was connected to the covenant that God made with Abraham. That covenant, made by grace and grace alone, became the foundation of the entire New Testament. The testament or covenant that Christ established through his death upon the cross is that covenant. Therefore, it is entirely possible that Melchizedek was the pre-incarnate Jesus. Since Christ is made a priest “… forever, after the order of Melchizedek …” (Psalm 110:4), we may assume that Jesus, being “forever” was the high priest of this covenant in the past as well as in the future. Jesus is still “king of Salem” (Genesis 14:18), and gloriously appears in this chapter to claim his own. In fact, when speaking of the signs of the end times, you may remember that during the Great American eclipse sign of 2017, the first major city that the eclipse fell upon was Oregon’s state capital, Salem.

salem, oregon eclipse map

The eclipse cast total darkness over that city when it occurred as can be seen in the aerial footage below.

Salem is the shortened version of “Jerusalem,” which is the most prophetically significant city in the entire Bible as we all know.

Again, Jerusalem was originally called “Salem” in the days of Melchizedek (Genesis 14:18) who was a foreshadowing of Christ. As we all may know, there is an upcoming 2nd Great American eclipse set to occur in on April 8, 2024. The closest road to the exact point where the two eclipses cross is Salem Road in Makanda, Illinois. What are the chances of that? Further still, that this eclipse should start with Salem in the USA, a nation whose divinely appointed founding purpose in prophecy as the declarer of the Gospel message of Christ to the nations of the earth in fulfillment of the Great Vineyard Prophecy of Matthew 21 should also tell us that, quite possibly, Melchizedek truly was the pre-incarnate Christ – King of Salem! If not, he was most certainly a Providentially appointed foreshadowing of Christ given that he had no record of the day he was born (indicative of Christ’s eternal existence before his incarnation in a physical body on Earth) and had no record of his end (indicative of Christ’s position that he is from everlasting to everlasting). At this point in the eclipse narrative, the Lord is very obviously not only sending the world a dramatic sign of his return and of judgment, but as an added side sign seems to have shed some light on the mystery of Melchizedek’s Salem connection to Jesus Christ, if not being the pre-incarnate Christ. This side sign may not have necessarily been a sign within a sign if it had occurred in any other nation, but it didn’t. It occurred in the Matthew 21 Christ-declaring Vineyard nation.

In the King James Bible, his title is written in capital letters, but in the Greek, only the first word has a capital letter. For KING OF KINGS, the Greek renders it βασιλεύς βασιλέων. Note that the second Greek word for “kings” is not capitalized. Its normal English translation is “King of Kings.” But the KJV capitalizes every letter out of respect of the kingship of the Savior. It is written as a title, and is, therefore, given in all capital letters. The same is true of “LORD OF LORDS.” The Greek is written as κυριος κυριων. In actuality, it should be “Lord of lords.” No earthly “king” or “lord” deserves to have their office title written in capital letters.

The Hebrew Letter ק Koph

The ק koph is the 19th letter of the Hebrew alphabet, and therefore, has an important lesson to teach concerning this 19th chapter of Revelation. To recap from previous postings, for centuries, it has been taught that the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet contain 22 messages of deep spiritual meaning. These letters bear an uncanny correspondence to the 22 chapters of Revelation, with each letter’s meaning or theme matching the theme of its respective Revelation chapter. As revealed in previous postings, this statement proves to be true when carefully observed. In this observation, we can see the Divine hand of the Holy Spirit upon the writing of the biblical text.

The letter ק koph is among the most important letters of the Hebrew alphabet, just as this chapter is among the most important in the book of Revelation. The letter ק Koph alludes to God’s holiness. It conveys the concept that God is so far above and apart from everything else, as to make him unrelated to anything. He is unlimited, being omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. Being a Spirit, God is boundless and formless. His Spirit and presence penetrates the entire universe. He is one of a kind. There are none like him. His realm is called “eternity” and is unrelated to “time” and “space.” Length, width, height and time are totally unrelated to what and who God is.

The concept of holiness implies that the thing under discussion is “set apart.” It is removed from all other matters. That is ק koph. The spelling of ק koph in Hebrew (קוֹף) has a gemetria of 186, the same as מָקוֹם – the Hebrew word for Omnipresent. When ק koph is separated into its revealed [ק] and concealed [קוֹ] components, the letters add up to the gematria of יְהוָֹה Yahweh and אלוהים Elohim. For example, a ק koph is written in Torah script as כַּ kaf and ו vav, two letters with a combined gematria of 26, the same as the four-letter ineffable name יְהוָֹה Yahweh. The aforementioned concealed aspect of ק kophקוֹ – adds up to 86, the same gematria as אלוהים Elohim.

By simply understanding what was just shown, it should be understood that the letter ק koph is metaphysical, and therefore, inconceivable to man. ק koph is not of this world. We just don’t have the mental capacity to fully comprehend its meaning.

Not only does the meaning of ק koph refer to God’s “holiness,” something that is not bound to time or space, but ק koph also has another meaning – “growth cycles” – something that is entirely bound to time and space! For example, every morning when the sun comes up, we start another day. That is ק koph. Every seven days, the week starts all over again. That is ק koph. Every new moon (approximately 30 days) the month starts all over again. That is ק koph. Every 365 days, the year starts all over again. That is ק koph. Every seven years presents Israel with another Shemittah or Sabbatical cycle. Every 49 years brings the Jew to another Jubilee. Every 100 years brings us to another century. Every 1,000 years brings us to another millennium. Those are examples of ק koph, cycles of growth or progression. They tell us that Christ will return at a specific time, as Moses taught, at the end of 6,000 years. He will establish the seventh millennium as the Great Sabbath Rest (see here).

Is it not strange that a letter, which is not bound by time or space, should also represent both time and space? Thus, the metaphysical descends into the physical! Example: God became man! Jehovah descended into this realm in order to elevate us into his realm. It is a marvelous cycle. For this very reason, ק koph represents the 19th chapter of Revelation, in which Christ returns from the metaphysical realm into this realm of time and space.

As the 19th letter, ק koph stands between צ tzaddi and ר resh. In the Hebrew alphabet, it looks like this:

Note that the ר resh stands to the left of the ק koph, while the צ tzaddi stands on its right. Furthermore, the ק koph stands with its back to the ר resh and its face toward the צ tzaddi. Hebrew reads from right to left, whereas English reads from left to right. So the צ tzaddi comes first in the alphabet, then the ק koph, then the ר resh. All of this exercise becomes clear when we look at the meanings of these three letters. All of them come near the end of the alphabet, denoting a prophecy that will be fulfilled in the end of days.

The צ tzaddi refers to the righteous (those who have received Christ). The ר resh stands for the wicked (those who have rejected Christ). The ק koph between them reminds us of the day when the great Judge of the universe will return with the verdict. He will place the righteous (צ) on his right and the wicked (ר) on his left …

And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” (Matthew 25:33-34).

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” (verse 41).

sheep and goat judgment

Obviously, the 19th letter, ק koph, stands for the Second Coming of Christ as seen in this marvelous chapter – Revelation 19.

John’s Seventh Vision (on Earth)

Having watched his glorious appearing in verses 11-16, we now must take up the subject of Armageddon and review John’s account as given in the remaining verses of Revelation 19.

This is John’s seventh vision of events on Earth. The entire vision includes five judgments. They begin with Revelation 19:17 and conclude with the fifth and final judgment of the unsaved in Revelation 20:15. They are …

  1. The judgment of the Beast and the False Prophet (Revelation 19:17-21).
  2. The judgment of Satan before the millennium (Revelation 20:1-3).
  3. The office of judge given to the “overcomers” (Revelation 20:4-6).
  4. The judgment of Satan after the millennium (Revelation 20:7-10.
  5. The judgment of the Great White Throne (Revelation 20:11-15).

For the purpose of this study, we shall deal only with the judgment of the Beast and the False Prophet, and leave the other four judgments in chapter 20 for later on in this Revelation series.

John is all too brief in his account of Armageddon, but as we shall see, so is every other prophet. We are left with so few details. Why are we not given the plans for every strategy, apprised of every battlefield, told about casualties, or made privy to every secret. Surely, no war is fought in a day. Is it? Yes! This one is! It will not take Jesus long to conclude the Battle of Armageddon. Actually, the Savior will come to put a stop to those madmen who have been blowing up cities and destroying the earth. John’s account is quick and to the point …

And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh” (Revelation 19:17-21).

The outcome of this battle is a foregone conclusion. That is why the invitation to the birds precedes the actual battle itself. The mightiest armies the world has ever seen will become food for vultures. The strong, the confident, the healthiest specimens of humanity, the greatest of all men will be food for birds. There will be no one left to bury them. The birds and beasts are summoned to cleanse the land in the area of the world where all the world’s forces have gathered to fight the final battle of history – in Israel. We have often heard it said that this final war will be fought in an actual location in Israel called “Armageddon” i.e. the “Valley of Jezreel” (pictured below).

jezreel

It is a location where it is commonly taught that God will bring all of the armies of the world to fight the mother of all battles – the last battle to be fought before Christ returns to put a stop to it. As most may know, Revelation 16:16 gives us a clear indication that it will be in an actual place …

And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon” Revelation 16:16).

However, other scripture indicates that rather than being restricted to one area, the battle of Armageddon will encompass the whole earth based on Jeremiah 25:32-34

Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel” (Jeremiah 25:32-34).

As we can see from the highlighted portions of Jeremiah 25, it will encompass “one end of the earth to the other end.” Further, we see that it will encompass all the coasts of the earth. But yet, in Ezekiel 39:17-20, we see the great battle and the bird feast taking place “upon the mountains of Israel

And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood. Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord God” (Ezekiel 39:17-20).

Armageddon, sometimes rendered “Har–Magedon” (Hebrew Har Meghiddohnʹ), means “Mountain of Megiddo.” Megiddo was once a city in the territory of ancient Israel. History tells of decisive battles that were fought in its vicinity, including some that are recorded in the Bible in Judges 5:19, 20 and 2 Kings 9:27; 23:29. Some contend that Armageddon cannot refer to the literal area near ancient Megiddo because there is no large mountain there, and even the entire adjoining Low Plain of Jezreel could not contain all those who will fight against God. Instead, Armageddon is the worldwide situation in which the nations assemble in their last stand against rule by God. The way to reconcile these two biblical views of Armageddon’s actual location may be to say that, perhaps, the main battle will be fought in the Valley of Jezreel while at the same time, the battle will begin to engulf all the nations of the earth. Whatever the case may be, it will be a global horror show.

The Big Blood-Slurping Meat Feast – Their Otherworldly Military Tech Couldn’t Deliver Them

There will be a feast of potential mass of rotting flesh. Those who thought they were going to destroy the King of kings become food for lowly birds.

Every year, in the autumn, the birds from Europe and Russia fly south into Africa for the winter. Those species living in Europe, for example, cannot fly across the waters of the Mediterranean. They fly around the shoreline, coming right across Lebanon, Syria, Jordon and Israel. In the Spring, they return to Europe and Russia – all points north over the same route. Some years ago, the Israeli air force became painfully aware that they had to share the skies with the fowls of Earth. Millions of birds fly through Israel every six months. It will be an easy task to bring enough birds to rid the earth of those battlefield casualties.

If you’re like me, I have always been a bit puzzled as to why the earth’s kings, captains, military top brass and so-forth would ever think that they could actually win a war against Christ and his returning armies. Win a war against God? Who in their right mind would ever think that? It has to be the height of human stupidity to think that there would ever be a shot at success against the creator of the universe. I mean … right? Lest you think I’m talking off the wall by implying that these Luciferian globalists are actually thinking they are going to make actual physical war against God, I invite you to take a look at what later verses in Revelation 19 actually have to say …

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army” (Revelation 19:19).

One likely explanation for this belief that man could possibly win in his hubris rejection of Jesus Christ is likely found in his extreme and powerful delusion brought about by his association with otherworldly powers. We would call them “demons” – those entities that Jesus spoke of in the New Testament and found throughout the Old Testament. In fact, the Lord brought judgment against ancient Israel for their association with these entities found at their “high places” …

Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name thereof is called Bamah unto this day.

These evil “high places” were a major feature in the life of ancient Israel. In fact, it is the evil spirits behind these “high places” that are the source behind all ancient nations and empires that worshipped other “gods” and “goddesses” as they masqueraded as other beings. They are what is behind the other belief system facades linked to the worship of ancient mythological figures. Today, they dress up in a different clothing, but it’s still all the same evil spirits/entities that Jesus and the other Holy-Spirit-moved writers of the Bible warned and spoke about. They are behind false religious worship and belief systems. Linked here is a long multi-paged list of all the places in Old Testament scripture where the “high places” are mentioned.

These are the entities that the Apostle Paul spoke of in Ephesians 6 …

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

It is these very same entities that have given otherworldly technologies to fallen man. These technologies are, as some in the know who will attest at their own personal risk, being hidden in black budget military development. These are weapons and technology able to carry man through space and allow them to land on other planets. In case you think I’m starting to “get a little out there,” consider the testimony of those who were involved in such programs who were sworn to secrecy, such as the example of Randy Cramer – a soldier who reports that he spent 20 years as a Marine in the U.S. Secret Space Program (SSP). He claims that “not only have humans made it to Mars in the past, but we have developed a secret space program and flotilla that operates in space.” His claim that the space fleet has technology far superior than anything available anywhere on Earth is quite believable these days considering that many have spotted and recorded glimpses of this technology floating above our skies at night at various times and locations, with two example seen in the videos below.

Footage and photos like the above are too numerous to count and keep track of. “Leaked” NASA photos have revealed these strange triangular craft flying over the moon as can be seen in the picture below.

UFO_Apollo_17_AS17-147-22470HR_zoom

The various ships have different propulsion systems which allow the space fleet to reach the frontiers of our solar system with ease (see link here). The picture below is purported to be yet another “accidently” leaked photo of Anthony Colaprete, a space scientist working for NASA since 2000. A picture can be seen laying on his desk that show possibly two structures on the moon that were taken at the NASA Ames Research Center.

Highlighted

One of the structures looks to be a square-shaped building, possibly an “alien” artifact. The other looks like a triangular-shaped structure. Some have said possibly a bridge. All of these “mistakenly released photos” are likely not “mistakenly released” at all. As anyone may or may not know, the Luciferian elite who work with and control the various governments of the world often let us know what they are going to do before they do it. It has been said by many that it is somehow required of them to do so in their method of operating on the dark side and in the requirements of Luciferic worship structure.

This all likely explains why, and how, the wicked elite will have such confidence of victory in this final war of human history. They have been working with these demonic and evil entities for a very long time. In fact, I would highly suggest that you listen to a quite stunning interview with Stephen Ben Denoon and Bonnie Harvey concerning the continual meetings that current political figures in the U.S. government are conducting with these entities. Stephen’s inside sources say that these entities along with our government are soon going to make public disclosure. That interview can be heard here starting at the 18:29 mark. It is absolutely no stretch of the imagination to say that the New World Order final beast MYSTERY BABYLON system is going to be infused with supernatural and very demonic evil power. Even though the government/military industrial complex possesses this astounding technology, it still baffles the mind to any normal thinking person as to how the Luciferian globalists would think they could win against the Creator of the universe when all he has to do is speak a word and the whole of Creation would vaporize in a moment and cease to exist. Satan a.k.a. Lucifer, the one whom these globalist descendants of the Pharisees of Jesus’ day worship, who hold the reigns of power behind the curtain, lead their governmental proxies, the entire world and its armies into the slaughter thinking they will actually win. Somehow, Lucifer has convinced them that they will not only win, but somehow “kick God off the throne” of the universe. At first glance, that statement can almost seem ludicrous that they would think that, but lets take a deep-dive closer look at what scripture itself has to say about them and how they think – and most important of all, reveal who is ultimately behind them. For this, it will first be necessary to lay a proper and solid groundwork to use as an example for this demonstration.

As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, back in the 1980s, the late J.R. Church discovered that the psalms seem to tell the story of the 20th century. It can be observed and demonstrated that the psalms have been encoded with allusions to modern events that occurred in the specific year according to the number of the psalm. Each psalm appears to be related to a corresponding year in the 20th century and beyond. A good demonstrative example of how this works is when you compare Psalm 16 and Psalm 17 with the years 1916 and 1917 respectively …

Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight. Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage” (Psalm 16:1-6)

A specific kind of people are mentioned in this psalm – those who will live to return to the land of their forefathers. The lines or boundaries of the Promised Land are kept by God. Although the Sikes Picot treaty of 1916 tried to undermine Jewish rights to the land, the Jews are yet to prevail. The term “thou maintainest my lot” (verse 5) has been also translated as “you guided my destiny.” The Lord had every intention of bringing the Jews back to their land. God was obliged to benefit Israel because of the saints who are buried in the earth (verse 3). God must keep his promises to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and David.

In 1917, the British Parliament passed the “Balfour Declaration,” which made a statement of favoring the reestablishment of a national homeland for the Jews within Palestine.

The Balfour Declaration seems to have been a fulfillment of the two passages “The lines are fallen unto me … I have a goodly heritage (verse 6). “… my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell … (verses 9-10).

Though the verse is said to primarily refer to the resurrection of Christ (Acts 2:27), it also seems to contain a hidden prophecy just under the surface. If that seems too incredible to be believed, then be reminded of what Solomon in his divinely inspired wisdom wrote …

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter” (Proverbs 25:2).

Here, in Psalm 16, we can see God’s plan to return them to their land and send the Messiah to establish his millennial kingdom. The year 1916 saw events through the Sikes Picot treaty to attempt the opposite, thus the psalm of promise in rebuke of what any governmental treaty decided (thou maintainest my lot) – verse 5). So, we see here a hidden prophecy in Psalm 16 corresponding to the year 1916. The following year of 1917 would see a major development toward the fulfillment of that prophecy with the aforementioned Balfour Declaration, thus lining up with Psalm 17 …

Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about. They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly. They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth; Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places. Arise, O Lord, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword …” (Psalm 17:8-13).

When you look beneath the primary surface meaning of the text, it also seems to hint at events of 1917. In 1917, the British general, Edmund Allenby, led his troops to surround the city of Jerusalem. It is reported that the night before his impending invasion, Allenby prayed that he might take the city without destroying the holy places. He had wired London for instructions and had received a simple reply – a scripture verse …

As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it” (Isaiah 31:5).

The exciting prospects of such a thing led him to have the verse read aloud before all his troops positioned in the foothills of Jerusalem. Allenby commandeered every available aircraft for a fly-over. On the morning of December 10, what seemed like hundreds of planes skirted low from just over the “Hill of Evil Council,” which lies to the south of the Temple site. The sky was covered from wing tip to wing tip and from nose to tail with airplanes. British biplanes captured German aircraft – everything that would fly.

As they flew over Jerusalem and the Eastern Gate, one of the pilots dropped a note demanding surrender – signed by General Allenby. The Turks were frightened by the multitude of planes. According to reports, the name of Allenby further frightened them because the word “Allah” in Arabic means “God” and “beh” is Arabic for “son.” The Turks were seeing this as a demand for surrender signed by Allah beh, the son of God. In response, they hoisted a white flag and surrendered the city without firing a single shot.

Through cryptic reference, Psalm 17 seems to prophetically allude to that historic event of 1917 – … “hide me under the shadow of thy wings” (verse 8) seems to be a cryptic reference to the wings of those British planes. Further, in verse 12, we see reference to the “lion” and “young lion,” which is the symbol of Great Britain, “Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.”

Continuing on, Psalm 46 alludes to the devastation of World War 2 …

Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire” (Psalm 46:8-9).

The reference to “wars … unto the end of the earth” captures the worldwide significance of the war in Europe against Germany and the war in the Pacific against Japan – from one end to the earth to the other. Psalm 47 appears to be descriptive of the United Nations’ vote to establish the state of Israel on November 29, 1947 …

O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph” (verse 1). “He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah” (verse 4). This last verse of Psalm 47 is very telling. One can readily observe the Lord’s cryptic reference to the wicked and their plans for world government and his ultimate control of their plans for his good – “God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness” (verse 8). Here, we can see his involvement in the globalists plans for the reestablishment of the state of Israel. Even when it seems like they are the ones making their plans and all of its specifics for their own purposes, it is the Lord who is controlling what is going on in their decision-making, thoughts and intentions of what they plan to do. Ultimately, it is all for the purposes of God and what he has in mind.

Psalm 48 matches 1948 – the year Israel was born. This psalm alludes to a replanting of the tree as it uses the term “beautiful for situation” in verse 2. Though it does not appear in the English translation, the Hebrew word noph (translated as “situation”) actually refers to a tree – the tree of Israel replanted on the holy hill of Jerusalem. Verse 6 alludes to the birth of Israel …

Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail” (verse 6).

The very next verse (verse 7) seems to allude to the New World Order’s i.e. MYSTERY BABYLON’S destruction some time after the reestablishment of Israel in 1948 …

Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind” (verse 7).

These “ships of Tarshish” were discussed in detail in a previous article concerning the New World Order MYSTERY BABYLON system of Revelation 17 & 18 (see also here).

Psalms 73-89 picture Israel’s quest for Temple worship. Sure enough, in 1989, religious Jews began to produce the “tool” of the Temple – a laver, garments for the priesthood, vessels for carrying blood, silver trumpets – over 30 of the tools required for Temple worship were prepared. One often quoted example is that of Psalm 91 and the 1991 Desert Storm war of the United States against Iraq. This psalm seems to contain a cryptic reference to that war so plainly that even TIME magazine (February 25,1991 issue) devoted three pages to its incredibly uncanny verses …

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked” (Psalm 91:5-8).

A good example of a more recent event occurred in 1997 with the passage of the Hale-Bopp comet. This extraordinary comet had the distinction of being visible to the naked eyes of the entire world. It was the most widely viewed comet of the 20th century.

From the earth, Hale-Bopp appeared nearly 50,000 times brighter than Halley’s comet. It was discovered on July 23, 1995, in the constellation Sagittarius. When reading Psalm 97, see if you can pick out the cryptic reference here:

The Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof. Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne. A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about. His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled” (Psalm 97:1-4).

The cryptic reference here is obvious. The eyes of the whole earth certainly saw this awe-inspiring comet. Given that the Psalms would only and obviously reference major significant events having to do with prophetic milestones and stepping stones instrumental to God’s prophetic plan for the world, one might be inclined to ask why he would encrypt a comet that the whole world saw with their eyes into a year 1997 Psalm. In my opinion, there would be no other reason other than to suggest that God intended this comet to be a prophetic sign of the end of the age and the coming judgment signalling his return. I feel that this case has been sufficiently made in a previous article on this site titled (THE HALE-BOPP COMET AND ITS PROPHETIC CONNECTION TO THE YEAR 2017 AND “TRUMP”: A DRAMATIC SIGN OF THE COMING GLOBAL JUDGMENT).

With the proper groundwork now layed down, let’s go back to the original stated intention of showing you all of that – which is to reveal the thinking of the Luciferian elite and the battle of Armageddon. For this, let’s now take a look at Psalm 1 and Psalm 2 – with Psalm 1 being a groundwork for Psalm 2 …

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish” (Psalm 1:1-6).

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure” (Psalm 2:1-5).

First, Psalm 1 uses the metaphors of a man and a tree to demonstrate the return of the Jew to his land. This very first psalm introduces the 20th century (the 1900s) as a time for rebirth (“blessed is the man” – verse 1) and a replanting of the proverbial tree of Israel (the fig tree of Jesus’ Matthew 24 parable) on holy ground (“he shall be like a tree” – verse 3).

Psalm 2 continues the overview of this century by alluding to the establishment of the United Nations and their attempt at establishing global government without God. It also foretells the wars of this century including Armageddon and the return of Christ for the establishment of the Messianic kingdom (the 1,000-year reign of Christ on Earth with all of the righteous down through the ages).

It can be readily observed that, though technically and physically the two psalms are separated, they complement each other spiritually and thematically. Perhaps for this reason, one can readily observe some 20th century events implied in psalms numbered with one year variance, For example, the military aspects of the 1967 war seems to be continued in Psalm 68 etc. Those concepts form the introduction of Psalm 2, which in turn describes a political insanity among the nations of the world – evident in 1902, and building into one war after another, getting worse with the passing of the years …

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision” (verses 2-4).

A worldwide political unrest after the turn of the century created a climate for the coming global conflict that scripture refers to as Armageddon. “Why do the heathen rage?” This is the question asked by the psalmist. This Lucifer-controlled conspiracy by him and his earthly proxy potentates are what is behind the wars and rumors of wars of Matthew 24:7. “The Lord shall have them in derision,” said the psalmist (verse 4), for there shall be … “upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity,” said Jesus in Luke 21:25.

Indeed, every psalm (1-99) told the story of the 1900s in world history. With the book of Psalms being the 19th book of the Bible, we seem to have yet another cryptic divine clue that it was going to be an unmistakable overview of the 1900s. One can observe with astonishment how the Psalms speak about the conclusion of Israel’s long exile and their return to the Promised Land, with each psalm containing some reference to the year corresponding to the number ascribed to that Psalm.

Psalm 2 reveals their true animosity toward Jesus Christ and those who belong to him …

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure” verses 2-5).

The Lord has already revealed the outcome of the battle of Armageddon before the 20th century even started. Psalm 2 declares that the Lord will laugh at them and have them in derision.

That said, on a practical level, it is easy to understand how they may think they can win with their belief that Lucifer is the “good guy” and that the Lord is the “bad guy.” The power of the dark side and its otherworldly technology is a likely powerful tonic mixture of grandiose delusion and hubris for the fallen and unregenerate soul in his/her state of spiritual unenlightenment and darkness. Their delusion is the plight of those who willfully reject light and choose darkness.

In light of the existence of the prophetic level of the Psalms, let us now take a little diversion and ask the next obvious question. Does Psalms 120, 121 and 122 (corresponding to the years 2020, 2021 and 2022 respectively) hint at events that have occurred on the world stage, and possibly, hints for the rest of this year into 2022?

First, let’s look at Psalm 120 – corresponding to the year 2020 …

In my distress I cried unto the Lord, and he heard me. Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war” (Psalm 120).

Again, looking beyond the primary surface meaning of the psalm text into its prophetic dimension, this psalm certainly reflects the world theme that emerged in 2020 as the Luciferian globalists began to foist tyranny upon the world with their lying lips and deceitful tongue. As we all know, it has resulted in rebellious demonstrations from populations against said tyranny as a result of the lie of a Covid-19 pandemic and its ensuing insane push for human health and DNA destroying co-called “vaccines.” The world’s civilized populations are for peace, but as we can all painfully see, they are for absolute war on a global scale. Prophecy fulfilled? In my opinion, yes. This is exactly what the Lord would have us to see in the prophetic dimension of this psalm.

Second, let’s look at Psalm 121 – corresponding to the year 2021 …

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore” (Psalm 121).

This psalm seems to contain the theme of comfort for those living in the year 2021 who are willing to look to the Lord for their help. This psalm makes for a perfect prophetic correlation with this year considering that many feel the world closing in upon them due to mandatory Covid-19 shots or else lose their job. We can all see the absolute tyranny coming to the world. The Lord seems to be telling humanity here in 2021 to look to him for their comfort and deliverance.

A second aspect of this psalm is that when the very first verse is read, we are told to “lift up” the eyes toward him where our help comes from. Interestingly, in the book of Numbers, we read of an example of the ancient Israelites getting bitten by vipers after their perpetual murmuring against the Lord and Moses in the wilderness. The Lord instructed Moses to construct a brass serpent on a pole so that those who would “look up” to the serpent on the pole would be healed from the vipers venomous poison and be healed and live. In the following video, Ty Green makes an unstated (but intended) correlation of this well-known biblical event with the viper of the “vaccine” shot.

Therefore, it is rather interesting that here in 2021, we have the viper-type bite of the evil intent behind the vaccine shot. In essence, just like in the first verse of Psalm 121 where the Lord tells Moses to instruct those who have been bitten by the vipers to look upon the pole with the serpent wrapped around it, God is telling the world here in 2021 to “look up” to him for their deliverance after the worldwide administering of the viper shot. The viper upon the pole in the wilderness was a picture of Jesus Christ upon the cross.

How interesting it is that we should see in Psalm 121 an admonition/encouragement to “look up” to him for deliverance. As an interesting side note, this viper snake bite story is seen in chapter 21 of the book of Numbers. As we all know, the viper shot of the so-called “vaccine” was introduced this year – 2021.

Third, let’s look at Psalm 122 – corresponding to the year 2022 …

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord. Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together: Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord. For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good” (Psalm 122).

Here, as has been done in a recent posting, we should again review Jesus’ parable of the fig tree regarding his statement that a generation will not pass until all “these things” are fulfilled. As you may recall, Jesus gave the parable of the fig tree as a sign of his Second Coming. In scripture, Israel is the sign of the fig tree. When the disciples asked him what the sign of his coming would be, he gave them a series of signs, but then moved into the fig tree sign. He said …

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled” (Matthew 24:32-34).

According to many prophecy and biblical expositors, Psalm 90:10 gives us the best explanation or answer for the length of a biblical generation. It is 70-80 years in length. Israel, the fig tree, was prophetically reborn and reestablished in the year 1948/1949. There is much speculation that the year 2022 will have reached the outer limit for the rapture event given that Jesus’ parable of the fig tree and its blooming again and putting forth its leaves resulting in his Second Coming will put the generation that Christ spoke of in this parable at the year 2028/2029. Another important year that should be looked at is the year 1949 when it was officially admitted into the United Nations. Counting forward 80 years (the length of the Psalm 90:10 generation) from that pivotal and crucial date will put us at the year 2028/2029. If you then subtract seven years for the length of the Tribulation Period, you will arrive at the year of 2021/2022. We would subtract seven years because we know that the rapture of the true Church will occur before the seven years of the Tribulation begins.

With this thought in mind, let’s take a look at the exciting prospects for the psalm 122 (2022) rapture event model as it “seems” to strongly hint that the rapture will occur in that year (the presumed outer limit for the rapture based on Jesus’ parable of the fig tree generation and his Second Coming rooted on the Psalm 90:10 generation statement). But this time, after every verse of the Psalm, the prophetic level and significance of that section of the Psalm as it relates to its correlation with the year 2022 will be stated and layed out immediately, rather than after. With that said and without further ado, let’s take a look at the exciting and incredible correlations that I feel the Holy Spirit is trying to show us here …

Let us go into the house of the Lord. Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem (verses 1-2). Here, we can see a hint of our “standing within his gates,” hinting that the rapture event has happened and we are now standing in the gates of Heaven. “Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord” (verse 4). Here, we can see the hint of “going up, as in, going up in the rapture. “For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David” (verse 5). After the rapture of Revelation 4:1, we see the picture of thrones in Heaven …

After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold” (Revelation 4:1-4).

The Revelation 4:1 rapture verse coincides with the prophetic level of Psalm 122 (corresponding to the year 2022). After the body of Christ is raptured, this is the scene that we will see in Heaven. Are we looking at the rapture in 2022 as Psalm 122 seems to hint? On this, I will not be dogmatic, but at the very least, considering the prophetic nature of the psalms of the past, it would not surprise me one bit. One thought to consider is that if the past Psalms contain this prophetic level phenomenon and came to pass within its designated year, why should we believe that Psalm 122 would not either? There is no logical reason why we should not believe that it won’t. Or could this psalm be alluding to the strong “rapture watch theme” that has emerged among the watching community in the Church? Only time will tell, but while we’re waiting on time to tell us, consider this – the United Nations General Assembly Resolution 273 was adopted on May 11, 1949 to admit the State of Israel to membership in the United Nations. It was passed following the approval of UN Security Council Resolution 69 on March 4, 1949. Right now, your prophetic senses should be smacking you in your cerebral cortex. Take note of that U.N. Resolution number 273. Israel is 73 years old currently up until May of next year (2022) – the very year that puts the rapture seven years before the outer limit year of the Second Coming fig tree generation. So, what about the number 2 in that U.N. Resolution number you say? The prophet Hosea said …

After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight” (Hosea 6:2).

The passage of two millennial days have occurred since Christ and we are now entering into the third day! The number 2 in that Resolution number would seem to be telling us that the end of Hosea’s second day has been reached at the magic fig tree generation number in U.N. Resolution number 2(73).

Further still, consider the number 69 in the first U.N. Security Council Resolution number 69 just two months prior (here). The prophet Daniel tells us about the 69 and 70th weeks (see here). He tells us that of the 70 “sevens,” 69 have been fulfilled in history. This leaves one more “seven” yet to be fulfilled. Most scholars believe that we are now living in a huge gap between the 69th week and the 70th week. The prophetic clock has been paused, as it were, for the current Church Age. The final “seven” of Daniel is what we refer to as the seven-year Tribulation Period.

Is the 69 in the first U.N. Security Council Resolution number giving us a prophetic clue that the Church Age gap time between Daniel’s 69th and 70th year has come to a conclusion and has been reached next year in 2022? Again, only time will tell the story.

Moving on with the story of the globalists and Armageddon – lest you think that I’m talking off the wall by implying that the Luciferian globalists will actually attempt to make actual physcial war against God, I invite you to take a look at the later verses of Revelation 19 with the pertinent verse highlighted to show the actual thinking of these delusional, demon infested and controlled souls …

Here, in verses 17-21 of Revelation 19, the actual outcome of Psalm 2 is revealed. All of their delusional hard work against the Lord and his bride results in utter and inglorious defeat and shame as the birds gather to feast on their carcasses.

They learn the hard way. Slurp, slurp.

The Beast Is Taken

It will take only a few moments to whisk away the beast and false prophet from their strongholds. No one can protect them. They will be utterly powerless in the presence of the King of kings.

Over a century ago, theologians began to say that these leaders could be supernatural beings. If human when he appears on the world stage, the Antichrist will become supernatural, as some say, “a man resurrected from the dead by the devil’s power.” His followers will consider him to be invincible. But after a short while, he will come to his end. This is the opinion of 19th century scholars like Joseph Seiss, E.W. Bullinger and others. Therefore, he will not be slain with the soldiers of the battlefield. He will not be evaporated in a nuclear holocaust of cities with a third of the earth’s population. The beast and the False Prophet will be thrown into the Lake of Fire. A thousand years later, they will still be there.

John has already explained Zeus (also known as Satan) and Apollo, immortal demonic creatures from another realm, who will come to Earth and direct the establishment of a world government under the Antichrist. They are entirely supernatural and seemingly impervious to normal weaponry. But they are no match for the King of kings.

As far as we know, he will not appear before the Great White Throne Judgment. He is already judged in the sight of Heaven and Earth when he is taken and thrown into the lake of fire.

If the Antichrist rules from Jerusalem, then he and his administration will be the target of the world’s wrath when they come against the Holy City. It is here that I would like to point out that what is happening in Israel seems to be a microcosm of what will be coming to the world. The spirit of Antichrist is now rising to new levels as the new Prime Minister Naftali Bennet is beginning to rule with an iron fist (see here). This is not to say that this person is the Antichrist, but to show that the spirit of Antichrist is beginning to move across the world as he prepares to make his grand entrance onto the world stage. It may be that the world government will finally want to rid the world of the Antichrist. Therefore, the battle of Armageddon could be between the beast and the false prophet. This would agree with the theory in the Jewish Akdomus that the Leviathan and Behemoth will be locked into a death struggle.

If there is a struggle between the “beast out of the sea” and the “beast out of the earth,” then there is a distinct possibility that the beast out of the sea will be a world government with thousands of representatives and bureaucrats, and the beast out of the earth will be none other than the Antichrist.

Some have suggested that the “sea” represents Mediterranean nations (i.e. Revived Roman Empire) while the “earth” represents Israel. The “beast out of the earth” could confiscate Israel’s city by force, committing the “abomination of desolation” (Matthew 24:15, Daniel 9:27, Daniel 11:31) and reign over his world government from Jerusalem. It is possible that the Antichrist could be a member of European royalty. He could move to Israel and take over Jerusalem, making it an “international” city and capital of his world empire.

If this is the case, then upon returning to Mt. Olivet, we might find him in the Temple – on the Temple Mount. If this concept is valid, then the beast and false prophet would involve more than just two people. It is possible that the “beast out of the earth” could be made up of several layers of bureaucracies involving thousands of people. If so, then all of them could end up being cast alive into the lake of fire under the title of a single beast. If entirely human, then God, by necessity, would likely require them to first stand before the Great White Throne Judgment at the end of the millennial reign of Christ before ending up in the Lake of Fire. In the meantime, those human members of his administration would end up as part of the Sheep and Goat Judgment, then first cast into Hell before ending up in the Lake of Fire.

Why should we consider such a scenario? First, because the Antichrist will be a false Christ, trying to mimic Jesus. Since the Savior promised to rule the world from Jerusalem, it stands to reason that the Antichrist will try to do the same.

Second, approximately a thousand years previously, European royalty sent one of their own to Jerusalem to establish a throne and crown. They tried to set up a world government and bring in a millennium of peace. Now that the world has reached and entered into the time of a new millennium since 2001, European royalty may try again.

Third, there is no other reference to a False Prophet in the Bible. All other places that refer to the Antichrist fail to mention an associate. If the false prophet is a religious leader who will pose as a sidekick to the Antichrist, show him to me anywhere else in the Bible. He is simply not there. The Antichrist will not share the spotlight with anyone else.

Fourth, the actions ascribed to the False Prophet (Revelation 13) could easily be the actions of the Antichrist himself. He is the one committing the Abomination of Desolation, not an associate. There is no reason or need to think that there will be an “unholy trinity.”

Fifth, if the Beast and the False Prophet do not include the worldwide bureaucracy of agencies and agents, then why not? They should not be left out of the judgment. They are the ones who assigned the Tribulation martyrs to die. They are the ones who carried out the executions. They must be an integral part of the “beast out of the sea.”

The armies they field against Jerusalem will be slain and fed to the birds …

And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh” (Revelation 19:21).

The brevity of the description in these verses coincides with the accounts of the other prophets in the Bible. In each case, we are told practically the same things. It varies little in the telling. Let us begin with the Psalms and work our way through the prophets, gleaning what we can about the Battle of Armageddon.

The Focus of the Psalms

Psalm 2 talks about the war-making activities of the Gentiles, and that God will have the last laugh …

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision” (Psalm 2:1-4).

The old adage about having the “last laugh” comes right out of this passage. God, who so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son; who spent six-thousand years offering salvation and forgiveness; and whose ministers labored so hard to encourage fallen man to repent; will finally demonstrate his contempt of their grandiose scheme for getting rid of any accountability to the Creator.

How sad that divine love should be so callously rejected. How pitiful that grace should be exhausted with such contempt. Instead of receiving God’s proposed covenant of eternal life, they make a covenant with Hell! This in spite of the fact that it is a free gift that is theirs for the asking. No good works needed to obtain it, no struggle to try to keep it because it cannot be lost, no fear of anyone else taking it away from them. What a deal! But yet, they callously and vehemently reject it. But, regardless, in spite of Earth’s politicians, God will proceed to establish his promised utopia …

Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee” (Psalm 2:5-7).

This psalm expresses one of the major themes of the entire collection, but beyond confusing and vexing the nations, and putting God’s Son to rule the world, we are told little else. We are told in Psalm 107 that Christ will “pour contempt upon princes,” and in Psalm 110 that he will “strike through kingsjudge among the heathen fill the places with the dead bodies … and wound the heads over many countries,” but how, and to what extent, is not given.

Isaiah’s Account of the Battle

John saw the Battle of Armageddon, but does not describe it. He only writes about its conclusion. Therefore, let us look to the Old Testament prophets for their perspective. After the Psalms, Isaiah seems to be the first place to go. Being the largest book in the Bible, Isaiah has more to say about God’s final judgment than any other prophet. I won’t cover all of it, but should at least observe certain highlights. My first thoughts light upon his fourteenth chapter. Isaiah sees the devil thoroughly defeated …

Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us? Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee. How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?” (Isaiah 14:9-17).

Armageddon has ended. Lucifer a.k.a. Satan, the one whom the Luciferian globalist cabal in the secret chambers and halls of power today serve, is defeated. Judgment is meted out. This is the message in Isaiah 14. It adds perspective to John’s account in Revelation 19 and 20.

Isaiah’s Summon to Judgment

In chapter 24, Isaiah speaks of worldwide judgment …

The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth. And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the Lord of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously” (Isaiah 24:19-23).

This not only concurs with all of the other passages about the sun being darkened, but also tells us that the LORD (God) (Jehovah) of the Old Testament and the Messiah, Jesus Christ, are one and the same person. When this concept finally dawns upon the Jews, they will repent of their unbelief. For without repentance, there is no entrance into the Kingdom of God. Down through the centuries, religious Jews have nourished a supreme love for Jehovah, while expressing a supreme hatred for Jesus, who is the very one they reverence in Jehovah. It is because God has blinded their spiritual eyes and deafened their spiritual ears for the purpose of bringing about the sacrifice of his only begotten Son on behalf of the sins of all men, both Jews and Gentiles.

It had to be this way so that the Abrahamic covenant could be established and eternal life could be offered. The Apostle Paul shed more light on this secret than perhaps any other. He wrote …

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes” (Romans 11:26-28).

Isaiah alludes to the rapture of the saints prior to his judgment of the dragon …

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain” (Isaiah 26:20-21).

The only place to escape the “indignation” is in Heaven. The saints will be rescued. Only the lost (those who do not personally receive Christ) will be left on Earth during the reign of the Antichrist. However, many of them will believe and personally receive Christ – thus becoming martyrs. This is the time for judging the Leviathan …

In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea” (Isaiah 27:1).

In chapter 34, he summons the nations for judgment …

Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree” (Isaiah 34:1-4).

For it is the day of the Lord’s vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch” (verses 8-9).

We are reminded that the Lord’s vengeance upon the wicked stems from the controversy over Zion – the Temple Mount. This holy site happens to be at the center of the present stalemate between Israel and the Palestinians. Islam claims it, though Israel has a right to it. David bought the Temple mount; Solomon built the Temple there; and later, Herod constructed the Temple in Jesus’ day. However, the Babylonians destroyed Solomon’s Temple; the Romans destroyed Herod’s Temple; and the Palestinians are determined that Israel will never build another sanctuary on that mountain. Yet, the Lord says that the judgments in the “day of the Lord vengeance” will be a recompense or payback for their controversy over that sacred hilltop.

In chapter 59, Isaiah briefly describes Armageddon …

For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak. According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord” (Isaiah 59:17-20).

In chapter 63, Isaiah likens the battle to treading down the grapes of a winepress …

And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth” (Isaiah 63:6).

The battle is always associated with the coming of the Lord to exact divine judgment. In chapter 64, Isaiah writes …

Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence, As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!” (Isaiah 64:1-2).

Jeremiah’s Account of Armageddon

From Jeremiah’s prophecies we learn that the Tribulation period will be a time for “Jacob’s trouble.” God will make a “full end of all nations.” The return of Christ will not just be a remaking of world politics. It will not be a reshaping of administration. All national governments will cease to exist. They will be completely replaced. Furthermore, it will happen in the last days …

Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble, but he shall be saved out of it” (Jeremiah 7:11)

For I am with thee, saith the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished” (verse 11).

Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return, until he hath done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it” (verses 23-24).

The center of the conflict appears to be the Temple Mount. Jeremiah writes …

Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the Lord hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the Lord, the vengeance of his temple” (Jeremiah 51:11).

The Jewish Akdomus Account of the Battle

The Jewish sages combined these two feasts in a writing called the Akdomus, a story rehearsed each year on the day of Pentecost. In his book The Jewish Festivals, Rabbi Hayyim Shauss writes about …

the day when the Messiah will have arrived, the time of eternal bliss on earth. They see the golden thrones, approached by seven stairs; seated on the thrones are the saints, gleaming and shining like the stars of heaven, Above them are spread canopies of light, and below ripple streams of fragrant balsam. There is no end to the joy and happiness of the saints. They dance in Paradise, arm-in-arm with God himself; He entertains them with a mammoth spectacle, arranged especially for them, the combat between the Leviathan and the Behemoth.”

Shauss continues …

The Leviathon encircles the sea that surrounds the world … the Behemoth … eats the pasturage on a thousand hills.”

After the battle, the Akdomus tells of “… saints seated around a table made of precious stones, eating the flesh of the Leviathan and the Behemoth” (Hayyim Shauss, The Jewish Festivals, pages 91-91).

This ancient Jewish concept may be expressed in a rather unusual way, but the original intent is obvious. The Leviathan and Behemoth are the beasts (Leviathan out of the sea and Behemoth out of the earth) depicted in the book of Revelation that end up fighting each other.

This has its roots in the biblical concept of Armageddon. Contrary to the Akdomus, however, instead of the saints eating the flesh of Leviathan and Behemoth, both Ezekiel and John tell us that God will call upon birds and beasts to feast upon those carcasses.

Ezekiel’s Account of the Birds

There are two suppers given in Revelation 19. The marriage supper of the Lamb is mentioned in verse 9, while an angel summons the birds of Earth for “the supper of the Great God,” – to feast upon the carcasses of the wicked in verse 17 …

Some scholars suggest that the Battle of Gog and Magog will be Israel’s final battle before the coming of Messiah. They teach that Russia will invade across Israel’s northern border with confederates from Islamic states. God will intervene, confuse the enemy and bring a fiery judgment upon the nations. Ezekiel connects the birds and beasts with that battle …

Most Christian theologians feel that this is a separate battle from Armageddon. For example, Ezekiel includes the “beasts of the earth,” whereas, John only mentions “the birds.” The general opinion is that the Russian invasion will precede the Great Tribulation, and that Armageddon will follow some years later. It is possible that Ezekiel’s reference to burning the weapons for “seven years” (Ezekiel 39:9) coincides with the Tribulation period – that the Russian invasion will introduce those seven years and Armageddon will conclude them, followed by the feast of the birds.

Because there aren’t enough common threads of information linking Ezekiel’s Battle of Gog and Magog with the Battle of Armageddon, most Christian theologians conclude that they are two separate battles. The truth of the matter is that none of the prophets were allowed to write enough details about the final battle for us to receive a comprehensive view.

Only a few chapters later, Ezekiel sees the glorious appearing (Second Coming) …

And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory” (Ezekiel 43:2).

Joseph Seiss notes that the Battle of Armageddon and its subsequent events represent a total change from a world governed by kings who consorted with the harlot to a world governed by the Messiah and his bride. He writes …

“It does not mean that the leavening of existing governments with Christian principles, the spiritual conversion of countries and empires, leaving them in existence, and simply Christianizing them so as to exhibit something of Christ’s spirit in their administrations; but the total displacement of all this world’s sovereigns and governments, the taking of all dominion and authority out of their hands, and the putting of it into the hands of Christ as the true and only King of the world” (Joseph Seiss, The Apocalypse, page 422).

Dr. Seiss also reminds us that Daniel’s prophecies are fulfilled in this wonderful chapter. He writes …

“When the Holy Ghost explained the meaning of the all-crushing stone in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, which broke to atoms the whole statue of worldly power and dominion, took its place, and filled the whole earth, the word was, “This is the kingdom which the God of Heaven shall set up, which shall break in pieces and consume all other kingdoms and it shall stand forever‘ (Daniel 2:32-45).

Here, Dr. Seiss is referring to a remarkable event that took place in the court of the great Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar. In this famous happening, the king had experienced a remarkable dream. Upon awakening, however, he discovered to his dismay that he was unable to recall the dream. Only Daniel, a prince of Israel, was able to recover the dream. Not only that, the Spirit of God enabled him to interpret it. This dream is a masterpiece of prophetic symbolism, probably the most renowned in all of scripture. It involves a great statue with a head of gold, chest and arms of silver, abdomen and thighs of brass, legs of iron and feet of iron and clay, a most unlikely mixture.

P.002.Daniel-Dreaming

The statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream is a serial prophecy depicting a chain of rulerships, each of which dominated the world for a time. The golden head representing Babylon was followed by the chest, which represented Medo-Persia. The mid-section represented the Greek empire and the legs represented the Roman empire. The last days extension of Rome is represented by the feet with their ten toes. These toes are commonly interpreted as governmental divisions of the revived Papal Roman empire in modern Europe. Though Papal Rome will likely in some way be associated with the feet and its ten toes, these ten toes are said to have its second representation in the final non-descript beast system (New World Order Mystery Babylon global government) of Daniel 7. Taken as a whole, the Gentile world is depicted as gold that deteriorates into clay.

king-nebuchadnezzars-dream

Seiss’ mention of the “all-crushing stone” in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream is referring to the stone that falls from the heavens and smashes the statue to pieces. The stone falls upon the feet and toes of iron and clay, thus collapsing the entire statue.

This is representative of Christ’s return to Earth and putting down man’s kingdom rule of Earth. Seiss continues …

“When Daniel was beholding til the judgment was set and the books opened,’ he saw in the night visions, liked to the Son of Man, brought before the Ancient of days, ‘and there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages should serve him,’ even ‘the kingdom, and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven,’ … ‘an everlasting kingdom’ (Daniel 7” (The Apocalypse, page 422).

Daniel’s Account of the Antichrist

Daniel follows the genetic line of the Antichrist. He opens his discussion in chapter 7 …

I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame” (Daniel 7:11)

But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him” (Daniel 7:26-27).

In chapter 9, Daniel briefly describes the seven-year treaty and how it is broken after three years and a half. This is the famous “abomination” spoken of by other prophets …

And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate” (Daniel 9:27).

In chapter 11, the Antichrist takes over the city of Jerusalem and makes it his capital city …

And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him” (Daniel 11:45).

The Battle of Armageddon is briefly told in chapter 12 …

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book” (Daniel 12:1).

Though Daniel follows the lineage of the Antichrist, his description of the final battle is somewhat lacking.

Joel’s Account of the Day of the Lord

Joel has several passages that give us a view of Armageddon. In his opening chapter, he tells us that the “day of the LORD” will bring about worldwide destruction …

Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come” (Joel 1:15).

This little book, nestled among the Minor Prophets, offers a view of both advents of Christ. The Apostle Peter preached from Joel’s prophecies on the day of Pentecost. Included in Peter’s text was a prophecy not fulfilled at that time. Peter quoted it, but did not elaborate upon the fact that its fulfillment would attend the Second Advent (Second Coming). Joel said that the sun and moon would fail in the “day of the Lord.” Of all the prophets that Peter could have quoted, Joel was the prophecy of choice for that day. Though a rather small book, Joel is quite significant. In his second chapter, he gives us an excellent view of Armageddon …

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness” (Joel 2:1-6).

Joel seems to be describing modern warfare as he speaks of weapons that emit flames and bombs (a fire devours before them) and the ruin left in their wake (behind them a flame burns).

Joel’s Valley of Decision

The prophet Joel describes the political madness that will finally bring the world against Israel and the city of Jerusalem, for it is there that the Lord will sit in judgment. Joel’s “valley of decision” will put a stop to the world’s three warring factions that are hell-bent on destroying each other …

Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong. Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Lord. Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel” (Joel 3:9-16)

Many have long felt that the Antichrist will be ruling the world from Jerusalem. He will likely claim ancestry from David and the tribe of Judah, but will, in fact, be from the tribe of Dan. With the world’s leaders at each other’s throats, and having destroyed most world capitals, it is possible that they will set their sites upon Israel. Armies will be deployed upon Jerusalem. It will be the world against the Antichrist and the location of his seat of power.

Jesus once said that Israel rejected him because he came in the name of the Lord. But, he said that they will accept the one who comes in his own name. This is a reference to the Antichrist. This prophecy is found in the Gospel of John …

I am come in my Father’s name, and you receive me not: in another shall come in his own name, him you will receive” (John 5:43).

For this reason, I lean toward the belief that the Antichrist, the seed of the serpent, will sport his own royal pedigree. Israel may think that their long-awaited Messiah has come at last. But it will not be long until the religious Jew will realize that the world leader is the great deceiver. When the Antichrist commits the “abomination of desolation,” the Bible-believing Jews will flee into the wilderness to escape his fate. Those left in Jerusalem will face the armies of the world and near annihilation.

Zechariah’s Account Of Armageddon

The prophet Zechariah was given the opportunity to write more about Armageddon than most of the other Old Testament prophets. He noted that Jerusalem would become the center of the conflict …

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.” (Zechariah 12:2-3).

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem” (verse 9).

Zechariah writes that all nations will be involved in a battle over the Holy City, and that half of the city would fall before the Lord comes to the rescue. The prophet concludes …

Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city” (Zechariah 14:1-2)

Once the city is in jeopardy, the Jews will realize that doomsday has arrived. Perhaps, running out of ammunition, with no chance for re-supply, they will be facing slaughter and certain death. Without Divine intervention, they could be eliminated from the face of the earth. Having no recourse, they will call out to the very one their forefathers rejected. They will call out to him to come to their rescue. Only then will the Savior open the portals of Heaven and return to the Mount of Olives …

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn” (Zechariah 12:10).

Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south” (Zechariah 14:3-4)

This is the same event that John witnessed in Revelation 19. Christ will fulfill the prophecy given by the “two men in white apparel” in Acts 1:11. The Savior comes to the rescue. The cities of planet Earth are ruined. Global war fought with modern weaponry and secret weaponry that is well in advance of what we even know about has worked its deadly plague. Jesus said that if the world was left to itself, and he did not come to the rescue, “… there should no flesh be saved” (Matthew 24:22). Millions upon millions of people will be evaporated in this final mad rush to doomsday …

And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth” (Zechariah 14:12).

The ten kings, called “ten horns upon the seven heads of Mystery Babylon’s beast, will destroy Earth’s cities “in one hour” (Revelation 17:16). But Christ will come to destroy those armies before they can finish their deadly work. Otherwise, the human race would cease to exist. Their ruin of the eco-system; their burning of population centers; their waste of water resources; and their destruction of the planet will be so blatant, so cruel and so enormous that only the return of Jesus Christ can stop them.

Isaiah wrote that the damage to the planet will be a judgment from the Lord himself …

Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof” (Isaiah 24:1)

Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left” (verse 6).

The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly” (verse 19).

The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again” (verse 20).

These are obviously somber words. I have long believed that the possibility exists that Isaiah 24 will largely be the result of the much-talked about approaching Planet X system and its gravitation pull on the earth accompanied by its destructive debris trail (see “Recommended Reading and Viewing” section in a previous article here). But no doubt there will be global war taking place at the same time, making it all that much worse as nations jockey for position of world domination in the midst of the catastrophe.

Obviously, it is almost incomprehensible to understand just how bad the situation will be. The lies that come out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast and false prophet (i.e. frog-like lying demons) will divide the world’s capitals (i.e. the daughters of Babylon) into three armed camps – apparently armed with city-destroying weapons. These demon-influenced potentates will likely launch military strikes within one-hour’s time – and the earth’s dreaded doomsday will have arrived. They will not be sobered until they have slaughtered at least a third of the human race. If left to themselves, they would leave nothing alive on the planet.

After the Lord brings about his final vengeance upon those nations who would destroy the earth, he will have to restore practically every life support system on the planet. The very survival of the human race will be at stake.

Matthew’s Account of the Tribulation

Matthew was sitting with the disciples that evening on the Mount of Olives, overlooking Herod’s Temple compound, listening to Jesus tell about the future Tribulation Period. He heard Jesus say …

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:21-22).

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together. Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory” verses 27-30).

Jesus gave only the pertinent details. He was ever so brief. Perhaps the reason why he and all the others touched only on the main points is that future generations of readers could not stand the anguish and sorrow that a full accounting would engender.

Paul’s Account of the Antichrist

Early in his ministry, the Apostle Paul taught about the rise and fall of the Antichrist. His clearest teaching on this was recorded in his second letter to the church at Thessalonica. But, again, note how brief his statements are …

And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:8-12).

The glorious appearing of Christ in the darkened skies above Jerusalem will offer a blessed hope for the newly-saved anguished believers standing below.

return of christ over jerusalem

The Jews rejected the Messiah of Heaven, but had they known his true identity, they would have gladly welcomed him. That being the case, it was necessary for God to blind their eyes so that he could allow them to crucify him on a cross to satisfy the payment necessary for the price of man’s soul salvation – for those who are willing to personally receive it. Now, after over twenty centuries, he returns in power and great glory to save them from certain annihilation.

Christ will make quick work of the unsaved wicked. He will oversee the judgment of the Antichrist and his world government. He will attend the incarceration of Satan in the chains of the bottomless pit. He will raise the Tribulation martyrs, remove the contamination from Earth’s atmosphere, restore the eco-system and establish Heaven’s promised utopia. His Kingdom of peace will last a thousand years. No more war; no more hunger; no more poverty – not for a thousand years.

Having read these accounts of God’s final judgment upon an unbelieving, Christ-rejecting world, we should learn that rebellion against God is foolish. No weapon formed against him shall prosper – not even the other-worldly triangular weapons that can travel from planet to planet given to him from demonic powers from the dark side can withstand the power of the Creator – Jesus Christ.

Those who reject the Savior will perish and cease to exist after their time in the land of the lost has expired in the afterlife. This is a certainty and a reality that unredeemed man wishes to deny and ignore, but man’s wisdom and opinion cannot withstand the scrutiny of the Word of God – and the Word of God makes it known that faith in Jesus Christ offers peace of heart today, and eternal life in the world to come.

THE RAPTURE AND YOUR ESCAPE FROM THE APPROACHING GREAT TRIBULATION JUDGMENT: YOUR ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN

The demonstrably divinely inspired text that we call the Bible promises a coming horrendous seven-year Tribulation period of judgment upon Earth for all of mankind, no matter what your religion, belief or creed is, and even to those who don’t believe anything spiritual at all.  We can now clearly see the signs of this approaching nightmare.  However, as we’ve already seen, this same divinely inspired text that we call the Bible promises a dramatic escape from off the face of the earth before this horrendous time of judgment only to a certain category of people.

Put simply, an event is coming that will be so stupendous that it strains the mind to contemplate such an event happening.  It is an event that will see millions upon millions of people across the globe suddenly disappear without warning.  The millions of disappeared will have literally ascended into Heaven itself after instantaneously receiving a new glorified body fit for Heaven.  A body that will be able to withstand the atmosphere and glory of Heaven.  This event is known as the “Rapture.”  But the promise of escape is only to those who are “born again” in Christ.  This is why it is crucial to understand what Christ meant when he declared in no uncertain terms that only those who are “born again” in him will enter the Kingdom of God.  For the explanation of this, keep reading below.

In order to accept the offer of God’s grace and his salvation, you must take the crucial three steps of …

1. Agreeing – A belief and agreeing with God in all that he says in his word, the Bible, about the fact that you are separated from God, as every man and woman on the face of the earth are before accepting his salvation.  The Bible reveals that all are separated from him in a spiritual state of death, or said another way that the Bible reveals it, in a state of sin, that will result in damnation in the afterlife.  Agreeing with God in your heart that you are in need of his salvation.  The Bible reveals that God looks upon the heart of a man or woman, and thus, responds accordingly to the person who comes to him for salvation in recognition of his inability to save himself.  The Bible makes these facts very clear – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).  “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).  The Bible describes these three kinds of death:

  • physical death (the state experienced when life leaves our bodies).
  • spiritual death (spiritual separation from God caused by our state of spiritual death inherited from the first man Adam – the state of sin that results in our daily outward acts of sin, whether deliberate or not, whether omissive or not; and finally …
  • the second death (the fixed state entered into by the individual who dies physically while he or she is dead spiritually). This state is entered into after the death of the body which results in punishment in the afterlife until the event of the Great White Throne Judgment occurs wherein the damned are resurrected from Hades, or Hell, and are judged according to their works and finally destroyed and cease to exist after being cast into the Lake of Fire. Revelation 14 refers to this tragic end of the unsaved as the “Second Death” (verse 14). It is this state of suffering entered into after physical death and then final destruction at the Great White Throne Judgment in particular which is the horrible result of receiving the wages of sin (unforgiven due to unbelief and rejection of Christ). The Lord Jesus Christ frequently described such a death as being irrevocable in a destiny which he called Hell.  He described Hell as a literal place of judgment (Matthew 13:42); a place of everlasting fire (Matthew 18:8); a place of torment (Luke 16:24,28); a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:50); a place of remorse (Mark 9:44-48); of bitter memory (Luke 16:25), and a place originally prepared for the Devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41).  In fact, Jesus more often warned about Hell than he spoke about Heaven.

It is not God’s will or desire that any person should be consigned to perish in Hell (2 Peter 3:9), but rather that all should come to repentance of unbelief toward him and believe on him for the salvation of the individual’s soul.  But God’s justice requires that the “soul who sins” (remains in it’s state of death or state of sin) is the one who will die a second time after a long period of torment (Ezekiel 18:4).  So, agree with God, admitting that you are unable to save yourself and in a state of sin under God’s just condemnation for that sin and that you are in need of his salvation.

2. Believing – Then, believe that God does not want you to perish eternally in the torment of Hell because of your sin.  Believe that God loves you so much that he provided a way whereby he could still be a just, holy and righteous God, and yet pardon you.  Believe that God did not just overlook sin, but that he sent his only begotten son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to provide salvation by personally paying the penalty for sin.  Believe that Jesus Christ, whose life, death, burial and resurrection is the best-attested fact of antiquity, did come to earth to live, die, rise again and ascend to Heaven in order to provide justification and salvation for all who trust him.  Believe that he, and he alone, can save you because he has fully satisfied the just demands of God.  Believe that you can’t become righteous in God’s sight by your own effort.  Believe that he wants to save you and that he will save you.  The Bible provides a solid basis for such belief …

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” (John 3:16-17).

“But God demonstrates his love toward us in this:  while we were yet sinners,  Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

God presented him (Jesus Christ) as a sacrifice of atonement through faith in his blood.  He did this to demonstrate his justice because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished – he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies the man or woman who has faith in Jesus (Romans 3:25-26).

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures … ” (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

“Jesus answered, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).  “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

“All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out [drive away]” (John 6:37).

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Revelation 3:20).

3. Calling – It is not enough to agree with God, admit your need, and believe that Christ can and will save you.  You must act upon those facts. God’s requirement is that you repent of your unbelief toward him and actively call upon him for the salvation of your soul based on the fact that you cannot save yourself. It is unbelief in particular that damns the soul to its horrible fate …

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).

You must be willing to completely turn from your own efforts to save yourself or from any other hope.  You must come to Christ, calling upon him for salvation and counting on the fact that he will do what he has promised.  This means simply taking the gift of pardon and eternal life which he offers.  Merely believing about Jesus Christ without coming to him makes as much sense and is as effective as believing that a medication can successfully treat a fatal disease, but failing to take it.  Yet again, the Bible emphatically and authoritatively provides the basis for such statements.

The word translated “believe” here means to “rest one’s entire weight and trust on the object or person in which the belief is placed.”  It requires action in keeping with the intellectual assent of that belief.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).

” … but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).

The logical question you may be asking at this point is:  “how do I come to Christ and call upon him?”  The answer is that “calling upon the Lord” is just another term for praying, or talking to God.  To talk to God is not a complicated process, dependent upon some special rituals.  God has invited people to approach him through his Son in simple, straightforward terms.  In fact, Jesus approved of the dishonest, despised tax collector who simply prayed, “God be merciful to me, a sinner.”  While the exact words of your prayer to God are not of vital importance (since God sees and knows the attitude of your heart), the following is the kind of prayer that you could pray in calling upon God for salvation …

“Dear Lord Jesus:  I realize that I need you.  I admit that I have sinned and that I deserve your just, eternal punishment for that sin.  But I am sorry for my sin and I am turning to you and asking for forgiveness.  I believe that you died and rose again to pay sin’s penalty on my behalf.  I come to you and open my heart to you.  I ask you to come into my life, forgive me for all of my sin and make me your child.  I invite you to take control of my life and to cause me to be the kind of person you would have me to be.  I thank you for doing this because you have promised that whosoever calls upon you, as I am doing now, shall be saved.  I pray this in the name of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen.”

If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, I urge you to sincerely and genuinely express it to God as your prayer.  The Bible makes clear that when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ in our heart, God forgives our sins and counts us righteous, and that when we openly confess with our mouth what we have done in our heart,  God gives us assurance of that salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” (John 3:3-7).

  1. Not sure how you make all these connections, but happy you do. A gift from God. I don’t think you’re crazy at all regarding the lucifer worshippers making war on God at Armageddon, it seems guaranteed. Alex Jones discussed a deal between our perceived controllers and an alien entity to relinquish control of the planet, I think he’s likely onto something through contact via odd demonic drugs. May be satan himself or some fallen angels, but what you’re saying regarding the promises made and overthrow of God attempt has to be accurate. They’re so evil, they’ve sold out the entire planet in this sick endeavor and will stop at nothing to get it. Let’s just say we don’t envy their eternities, and praise God we’ll be able to learn the whole truth one day.

Regarding the first Gog and Magog war, I really don’t see how it would be near the end of the tribulation. Russia and Turkey are getting involved in Libya and just had a failed coup in Sudan, though they will succeed in the future. They seem to be the 4th and 5th key members of the alliance scripturally and it’s lining up now, so once the US is fully backed out I see no reason they would wait so long to invade. US presence in Syria is weak enough now even Turkey is calling them out for funding terrorist groups, and God will take all the glory for Ezekiel 38-39, there will be no US or European presence for man to glorify ourselves.

You may like this video on the antichrist position and revived Roman Empire, I think Amir is spot on. Once US is judged and Russia and Islam slapped down, Europe will step in as Israel’s ally. There’s no way they’d accept a Muslim or Chinese Messiah, Europe is the only one that makes sense. For obvious reasons a German antichrist doesn’t make sense, and Britain and France have their independent streaks. My guess is somewhere known for peace and safety, neutrality, worldliness, where he’s likely to speak many languages, like Switzerland. CERN is there where they may bring the portal of hell from, it makes sense.
