According to Manly Palmer Hall it was Benjamin Franklin who was the Founder of the American Philosophical Society, who went to Britain and France for loans to fund the American Revolution, (after the end of the War, the debts for those personal loans were passed on to the people of the states); Franklin published the Constitutions for the original 13 "United States" at the Nine Sisters Lodge in France, which was an Illuminist Masonic Lodge, where Franklin Initiated the famous Voltaire into the Nine Sisters after he himself had been initiated into that Lodge ! According to Hall Benjamin Franklin was appointed to oversee the development of the States under the plan for New Atlantis ! After some tutoring by John Dee, Francis Bacon was put in charge of the British Free Masons, and Rosicrucian's by Dee, who was in charge of them until the time he transferred that duty to Bacon.
