NOTABLE STUFF - links of interest of a kind I would formerly have included inside the occasional post
RECOMMENDED (IN SEQUENCE) - "sticky" posts, mostly pages of important lists of links, like tables of contents
“Although the fall is certain and will not be averted, how it affects you personally depends largely upon you. Are you awake and watching? Are you responding with obedience to the promptings of the holy spirit? If you don't take the warnings seriously, you are already in trouble, my friend. If you do take them seriously and fear and anxiety seize upon you, let it then drive you into the arms of our only refuge, the Lord Jesus Christ - while some time yet remains. If you know by the spirit that what I write is true and are at peace about it, you are about to enter into the time for which your heart has been prepared.”
I wrote that several years ago. The last modified date on the page (America: Rushing Across the Threshold of Daniel Eight - Part II) is 9/17/2007, so it's been posted online at least since then. I've been awaiting the fulfillment since then. I believe we have arrived at the threshold of fulfillment.
That article was posted as a follow-up to one I wrote before America engaged Iraq. America: Rushing Across the Threshold of Daniel Eight - Part I A closely related article is titled The Ironic Battle of the Babylons.
What “soon” meant, back when I wrote Part II, has been a merciful stretch of perhaps 5 years. This is a very different world. Judgment has since come to the church. Judgment has come to America. Escalation is the byword. How soon is “soon” now? I can't say, but it will come right on time, and the world will never be the same. It will fade the memory of 9/11 into near obscurity.
8 Then the male goat magnified himself exceedingly. But as soon as he was mighty, the large horn was broken; and in its place there came up four conspicuous horns toward the four winds of heaven.
Isn't that passage about Alexander The Great?
ReplyDeleteAlexander the Great, yes, but it was not completely fulfilled then, only in part.
