    I thought that there was alot packed into the section/panel of earth that was removed in the Time magazine cover.

    That area shown covers Gibraltar/ The Pillars of Hercules as well as the Atlas Mountain chain in north Africa. Plato wrote that Atlantis could be found through the Pillars of Hercules. Atlantis is symbolic of the pre diluvian world that the powers that be are presumably trying to return to in some way.

    The Atlas mountains speaks hugely to CERN for me.

    Also, in the mythology, Atlas assisted Hercules with his eleventh labor, to retrieve Golden Apples from the Garden of Hesperides. It was an apple from this same garden that was central to starting the Trojan War, The World War of it's day.

      I suspect that the actual city of Atlantis was included in that particular "old world" grid panel.
