1. SAFETY

Countries which reportedly have low crime rates include: Malta, Cyprus, Austria, Japan, Greece, Ireland, Norway, Denmark.
Accurate statistics are not available for all countries. Crime rates can vary greatly within one country.
Countries with high murder rates include: South Africa, Jamaica, Russia, Mexico, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Thailand, Seychelles, Poland,Bulgaria, United States.
2. SUNSHINE
Some of the sunniest destinations are Cyprus, Greece, Morocco, Tunisia, South Africa, Malta and parts of Spain.
There are rainy seasons in countries such as Thailand, India, Malaysia and Singapore. It can be very wet at certain times of year although the rain may only fall for a relatively short part of the day.
3. FRIENDLINESS
Among the countries reputed to be friendly, in parts, are: Malta, Cyprus, Austria, Greece, Ireland, Norway, Denmark.

Here are some suggestions concerning Greece, Malta and Cyprus:
For cultural Malta, Valletta is the best place to be. The best hotel is probably Le Meridien Phoenicia, Valletta, Island of Malta.
Larnaca in Cyprus is less popular than Paphos. But maybe consider the Antonis G Hotel Apartment, in Larnaca.
Kyrenia has been regarded as the most attractive place in Cyprus. One possibility for Northern Cyprus is the Hotel Sempati, Kyrenia.
There is much building work in both parts of Cyprus.
Chania is an attractive Greek town. Palazzo di Pietro, Chania, Crete

Malta is a shit hole and Gozo has been ruined by the new ferry.
Cyprus is riddled with Russian Mafia, both sides. Crime is very much on the increase with illegqals from the CSR states. All the whores hotels workers restaurant workers are the same or Filipinos paid peanuts.
Tolon is beautiful. Beautiful beach, and lots of the beautiful people who esacpe Glyfada in the summer.

I have had good experiences in France, Spain and Cyprus. Can't comment about the rest of the places as I have not been there.
