Reportedly he was Jewish, gay and a sadist.
Jerome Bolsec published a life of Calvin, 'Vie de Calvin', in 1577.
According to Bolsec, Calvin frequently engaged in gay sex.
According to Bolsec, Calvin resigned his church post at Noyon, in France, because of the public exposure of his homosexuality.
John Calvin became the religious boss of Geneva in Switzerland.

Calvin's followers burned 58 people for heresy.
Servetus was a wise doctor who took an interest in religion.
He was not keen on the idea of the Trinity.
When Servetus came to Geneva in 1553, Calvin had him arrested.
Poor Servetus was then burnt at the stake.
Christopher Hitchens writes (Christopher Hitchens - God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons ...) that "Calvin's Geneva was a prototypical totalitarian state, and Calvin himself a sadist and torturer and killer, who burned Servetus (one of the great thinkers and questioners of the day) while the man was still alive."
Allegedly, Jewish plotters introduced Calvinism into England 'to split Church and State, and divide the people'.

With a name like Sadeq (Zadok), he might well have been another Crypto Jew. Zadok being the originator of Zadokites: Jewish solar priesthood that appears to have amalgamated with the Melkites into one powerful priesthood of Melchizedek. The one that is now called Jesuits in christianity.

I started researching my ancestors in 2009, and I believe many of the early settlers were Crypto Jews. Catholics gave their children new testament names. Reformists used old testament names and most of the early settlers were Reformists. They had money, were skilled in trades in Europe that are known to be Jewish trades, goldsmiths, silversmiths, silk weavers, and glassblowers. When they moved here, they became farmers because by Dutch law in New Netherlands (New York) they had to work for the Dutch for 5 years, after that they could do what they wanted. They stayed hidden and intermarried with other Crypto Jews, later on becoming true Christians and intermarrying with gentiles.
